Carlsbad Street Faire – This Weekend!

Looking for something to do this weekend? Wander on over to the Carlsbad Street Faire, known as the “largest one day street fair in the nation”! From 8am to 5pm on 5/6/12, you can browse through unique booths, indulge in delectable eats, and enjoy family entertainment. With over 900 vendors, there is something for everyone, including clothes, accessories, plants, household products, art, antiques, home decor, plus a food court with everything from Thai to Hawaiian cuisine. There will be a children’s area with games, a super slide, a bounce horse, a rock climbing wall, face painting, and arts and crafts!

For the adults, there will be a beer and wine garden, hosted by the Rotary Club of Carlsbad, which will also have live entertainment. With over 100,000 people coming for this one day event, it is best to either arrive really early, or use one of the complimentary shuttle services, which will run to and from the Poinsettia Coaster Station and the northwest corner of Sears at Westfield Plaza Camino Real.

Carlsbad Thursdays on the Coast 2012 Kick-off

Don’t miss the kickoff of Carlsbad’s Thursdays on the Coast 2012 Season this Thursday, March 22!

This exciting, free event is a monthly Art Walk held on the last Thursday of each month in Carlsbad Village from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Galleries and merchants open their doors and stay open late to display art by local and regional artists to the community and visitors. There will be live music and performance artists as well as more traditional gallery art. What a fun way to experience adorable Carlsbad Village!
