It is here, the event which thousands of so called geeks, techies, nerds, artists and illustrators, and anyone and everyone with a passion for comics and everything related gather in the beautiful bayfront city of San Diego for the annual Comic-Con International Conference. Preview night starts tonight actually, and main events are July 23-26, located at the San Diego Convention Center.
I have never actually been inside the convention myself, but I have been present downtown when the convention was taking place. Definitely worth it just for the people watching. From crazy dressed action heroes to anime characters, you will see it all. And don’t judge just on the title of the event…it is much more than just “comics”…if you find anything interesting in the realm of anime, art and illustration, video & computer gaming, comic books, computer animation, fantasy, web, and really anything movie industry related, etc etc etc, then this event is for you. But, be ready to battle intense crowds, lines, and traffic.
