One big question visitors in San Diego have is “where am I allowed to bring my dog?” A trip for many is not the same without the pooch. Here is a list of beaches, parks, and other attractions in San Diego that allow pets…
Dogs are allowed off-leash here, MOST of the time. There are seasonal laws…The roaming free, off-leash season runs October through May, and is confined to the area south of 15th Street and north of 29th Street. For the rest of the year, leashes are required. Expect a crowd (of people and dogs) on the weekends. During the week, there are only about 10-15 dogs out.
Dogs are allowed here, on-leash only.
There are a number of shops and restaurants in this area that are dog-friendly. So if you want to bring your dog to lunch, check out his place.
If you are planning a trip to LegoLand and do not want to leave your dog behind, no problem! While dogs are not actually allowed inside the park, LegoLand offers a kennel for your dog out front.
Guajome park, located in Oceanside, CA, offers a wide diversity of plant, bird and wildlife, lakes, picnic areas, and trails. Dogs are allowed inside the park for an additional fee of $1 per pet. Dogs must be on a 6 foot or less leash, and they are not allowed on the trails, only the paved areas.
Dogs are permitted off-leash from 6:00-7:30 AM and 4:00-6:00 PM on MWF only. All other days and times, dogs must be on-leash. Orpheus Park, off-leash dogs are permitted 6:00-7:30 AM and 4:00-6:00 PM on MWF only as well.
This fenced park in Oceanside is open from 7 AM to 7 PM except for Wednesdays.
