Want to get from North County to Downtown San Diego without getting in the car? The COASTER can take you!  Running north-south, serving eight stations between Oceanside and downtown San Diego.  With more than 20 trains running on weekdays, and even more on the weekends, you will never have to wait for a train.  It takes about an hour to travel the entire route, and you get breathtaking coastal scenery along the way!

For Oceanside, hop on the COASTER just right around the corner from our properties.  In 4 minutes, you can be in downtown Carlsbad, in 16 minutes, you can be in downtown Encinitas, in 22 minutes, you can be in Downtown Solana Beach, in 50 minutes you can be in Old Town, and in 1 hour, you are in Downtown!

To get directly into Downtown, you just have to hop off the COASTER in Old Town and take the Trolley right to the Gaslamp District.

For a round trip ride from Oceanside to Downtown, it is $11 for an adult, and children are FREE.
