Beacons is a small reef break that is tucked into a cliff side neighborhood, and is very popular for local longboarders. There is limited parking at the top of the cliff and a dirt trail to provide access to the beach. Beacons is a great wave for beginners as the main peak offers an easier take-off and a long ride to the beach. The spot has several sea grass reefs that create a wave for riding in either direction. On bigger days the main peak at the southern end of the parking lot is your best bet, but the crowds can pack in very quickly. The best time to ride is on a rising tide.
