Great place!

We enjoyed an amazing girls weekend in Oceanside. The property was large with a lot of sleeping accommodations (the cabana mats came in handy for those not wanting to share a bed). There were a few maintenance issues but they were responded to quickly. Francisco and Freud were great and I want to recognize their hard work. We will certainly be back next year!!!

We had a wonderful time. The BFO office was very helpful and courteous. We had a little confusion checking in, and they fixed it right away. The condo was very nice. The only issue is that the lights were on a timer.(which is a great idea, but make sure you give yourself enough time to take a shower) Any issue we had the BFO office addressed right away. The wi-fi wasn't very reliable, but it forced us to "unplug" so it was a bleesing. We would use BFO again.

The overall experience was great however a few changes could help make it excellent. First and foremost the process of receiving a call back took extremely long. We have stayed at many other beachfront houses up and down the coast and have found the check in process to be a lost easier and much more friendly. We called a day before our reservation and asked about the check in time. In the past with the other rentals, we always found that early check in was never an issue if the unit was clean and inspected by the management company. So the rep informed us that we should call once we arrive and they would see if they can accommodate the early check in. We arrived at the property around 12:30 pm and saw the cleaning staff finishing up with the unit. So around 1:00 pm we personally saw them leave with the unit clean for our visit. We called the office and asked them if the unit would was ready for early check in and they told us we will confirm and get right back. So we figured we would stick around and wait for the call. This call never cam through and instead we received a text message almost 90 minutes later saying that we can check in between 3:00 - 3:30. To our surprise we were not able to check in til 4:00 pm. So we ended up going back and forth to the unit several times with the assumption that we can check in at the time we were informed. This process was not pleasant especially when young kids are put through this back and forth process. The rest of the say was great until it was time for check out. We are well aware the check out time is 10:00 am. However we had one of the house cleaners show up at 9:40 and stood in front of the glass patio doors like security and was staring at us while cleaning up. This made my family and kids very uncomfortable. I told her that we have 15-20 minutes still to check out and all she said is "no speak English" several times. After having a great stay the check in and finally the check out experience was terrible. We called the office while this was happening and they informed us that a supervisor would call us and that they were sorry for the trouble. However we are yet to receive a call.

The place had an amazing view and great location to walk to the pier and eateries. Everything was clean and the staff greeted you and quickly fixed a maintenance issue. The only complaint is the full bed was very uncomfortable and the spa did not look inviting to use.

While there, the unit across the way had an attempted break in. Gate to the beach was broken and could not be locked. Police were there at 2am searching for suspect. Doors did not seem to secure, no dead bolt and damaged door frames. Also there were things like the microwave door and electrical sockets that were damaged. Also, the jacuzzi was damaged like someone had sat on the edge and crushed it. The jacuzzi didn’t seem well maintained because the the ball kept floating to the top and I read it and it said when it does that it needs to be replaced which it wasn’t. Me and my family didn’t really feel safe in that unit because of the lack of security and so many doors that we didn’t know what was behind them and felt anybody could come in. We were kind of on edge since the police showed up at the unit next door and just random people walking by all the time that weren’t renting the units. It was nice having walking distance to the pier but the safety part needs to be improved. In all honesty, we will probably not stay at this unit again and choose a different one. Management employees were extremely helpful and polite. That was the highlight of the stay. Thank you!

The locks that are installed on the front door, automatically lock after the door closes, preventing anyone from the exterior entering without a custom code. Stunning Property!!

Our family had the most incredible time at this clean and beautiful property! We loved the perfect ocean view and the comfort of the furnishings. When we needed surfboards and wet suits they were delivered within two hours to our door for a nominal fee. Any little need we had was attended to immediately. We felt like royalty! Great Home

We had a great time in Oceanside staying in this Oceanfront rental. The home was very nice and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the furniture is clean. The kitchen is well stocked. The view is amazing! The only negative was the fact that I had booked to take our dog and paid the deposit then decided not to take him. We were not refunded the deposit even though we changed our minds ahead of time. There was no reason not to refund the deposit.

This is my third beach house rental through VRBO, and I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the property compared to the other two. It was a comparable price but much cleaner. It was as described on the site and in the pictures. We saw dolphins and enjoyed walking to the pier and around Oceanside. Also, we took the coaster train from Oceanside to San Diego.

Gorgeous place!

The place was great and spacious. The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen perfect. The issues we had the first night was the grill did not work and the next morning the coffee maker leaked everywhere. The problems were resolved quickly, but just upset at those issues. The other thing that was kinda strange, only one bedroom had a closet. I would have preferred no washer and dryer and had more closet space for one of the bedrooms. All and all perfect getaway.

Holiday weekend

We had a very nice 2 night stay in Oceanside. WiFi did not work on arrival and maintenance came quickly to repair. However, even when working the signal strength was not strong enough for the ROKU TV. We stayed in Unit 6 which has an unclear parking situation involving a lift in the garage. There was plenty of street parking available, so wasn't an issue for us.

If there was anything had to rain on I would say I wish the WiFi work better in that unit and during our time there it was a tad humid so I would have liked Aie conditioning but aside from that it was perfect!! Fantastic Location

Great vacation and perfect location! The inside of the property is wonderful with everything you may need. The one disappointing thing was the outdoor furniture. Several chairs were damaged and the table top was not connected to the base. Additionally, I called the first day we were there to ask for another umbrella and the woman said she would contact maintenance and let me know what they can do. I never heard back from her. Overall, though, amazing place!

It was gorgeous however, there was no beach , no where to play or lay out. The beach was about a 10 minute walk , we were hoping to be able to walk out and play volley ball right outside the living room but we couldn't. overall it was good!

The view is amazing

My family and I were extremely happy with the home and location, everything was very clean and plenty of towels, misc kitchen gadgets. I have to say, there is a lot of thru traffic of non guests. The street side door is left open regularly throughout the weekend and I noticed strangers using the corridor as a short cut. I did not feel comfortable leaving anything out on the patio, even for a short time for safety reasons.

Lovely and clean space with a view

We were very, very happy with this beautiful space! Good beds, the side sleepers were surprisingly comfortable for siblings who came in for just the weekend, and room for all of us. Kitchen and fridge were spacious. The view from the front deck was great, and the deck itself also well-outfitted with a grill and a fire pit. Noise was not a problem, although we did have some spotty internet issues. One note: this unit is not accessible unless you request elevator access (additional $100). We were happy to pay for it. (The hot tub is not accessible either; it's basically on the ground--not a problem for most of us, but something to keep in mind.) This unit also has the garage lift for parking--wild! The unit is not far from the dock/beach and we walked there almost every day. At low tide we could even go out to the beach right in front of us, which requires an access point about 0.1-0.2 miles down. Finally, we found all the service people and maintenance crew to be efficient and kind. On the whole, we would definitely stay with Beachfront Only again!

Amazing stay

This rental was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect. The rental was beautiful with lovely decor. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly think of. The back patio was so close the the ocean we had waves crashing right in front of us and could see seals playing in the background. I would definitely rent the same place in the future. The only negative thing I can think of was that we couldn’t figure out how to use the lift to park our car in the garage. There was plenty of parking on the street though.

Beautiful home

The house is just as pictured. It was also clean and well kept. The only issue I had was the car lift for parking. No one ever explained how to use it or even gave us the code to operate it. That being said I called for help and someone was there to help within minutes. I read a lot of reviews about staff being rude but we had no issues at all they were very pleasant. The location of the house is right on the beach but I only gave the location 4stars because the neighborhood didn’t seem that great. The house is beautiful but a lot of the surrounding area is runned down. Overall our stay was great.

Wonderful spot in Oceanside!

My family spent a week at this location during Spring Break. It was the perfect spot for our family of 13!! There was plenty of beds, the kitchen was perfect for cooking meals to feed us all, and the VIEW was a 10!! Every morning we watched dolphins swimming by and every night we watched the sunset all from our balcony. The hot tub was perfect too! All together this Oceanfront rental was perfect for us and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation in Oceanside! The only downside that could actually be an upside was that the cell service was not the best...but we made sure everyone had the land line number and we made due with communication. Everything else was a 10!!

Amazing! Enjoyed Coffee While Watching Dolphins!!:)

Beach Vacation

People should be aware that although the location is on the beach, there is actually no beach access unless you walk a quarter of a mile north (and use stairs). Even then, there is not sand to make sand castles. For the money of this rental, we were expecting direct beach access, so my kids didn't have to drag boogie boards, etc down the beach

Oceanside Rental

Everything was great. The only feedback I have is regarding the car lift in the garage. I was never told that our spot involved a lift so we parked on the lift itself, as that was the only spot left. This caused a neighboring unit to confront our group as they were not able to get their car out during the day. If the car lift is part of the rental, it should have been clearly defined in the agreement and someone should have meet us at check-in to show us how to use it.

We travel to Southern Cali every year from Iowa, as a get away. This was the first year we chose to stay in Oceanside. The rental was excellent. Far exceeded our expectations. Tons of space and relatively inexpensive for what you get. Constant ocean waves, gas grill, hot tub, easy beach access, and fantastic customer service.

Spacious beach front condo with great layout!

Pros: Condo sits right on the beach with a great view of the ocean! Good size kitchen, living and dining room. Rooms are a good size with bathrooms in each one plus one powder bath in hallway. Our family vacay here was worth the money and will come back again.
Cons: Jacuzzi didn’t get warmer as we had hoped. Called property managers to resolve issue but didn’t go back In jacuzzi to test it out. Garage parking is quite narrow. If you have a full sized SUV or truck, it will not fit.
There’s a fenced partition that divides the garage and was a nuisance to try and park our van. In addition, condo smelled like it was cleaned with dirty bleach water. The smell eventually faded and became bearable.

One of the best beach houses I have ever stayed

The property is very well kept. It was comparable to a high end hotel. Everything was great. The parking is a little lacking but that is to be expected in a beach front property. The staff at bch front was really nice and accomodating. I would definitely stay here agan next year.

Great location and beautiful rental!

From the first touchpoint with the property management and all the attention to detail...this place and personnel is First Class! The property was exactly as described and we had plenty of room to spread out with all the possible sleeping coves. The hot tub and fire pit were a big hit with our family. Beautiful sunsets from the patio and dolphins seem to migrate past our view amongst the surfers. The only minor issue I had was with the parking, as it is a bit cumbersome for this unit. But, street parking was ample and the property management came over and walked me through it how to use the lowered parking unit. Would definitely recommend...and really appreciated the responsiveness of the management team!

Great family vacation rental

This is a very great location. Safe location for families. The house us beautiful & family friendly. It has all the amenities that a large family needs. Netflix on one of the tv's & on demand on the other. The fire pit is great for Smores. 2 washers & 2 dryers really helped with 9 grandkids. The beach & park have a parking lot & only blocks away, within walking distance.

Fabulous family vacation

It was fabulous. The home is lovely and very comfy. The hot tub, grill, and fire pit added to the experience. Our family of 9 had a ball! I should have paid a bit more attention to the photos and info explaining that the rocks are a barrier to walking directly to the beach; we had to walk 50 ft or so to get access. The waves at night right outside our deck were amazing! The beach wasn't too crowded. All in all it was GREAT!

Very Pleased Overall!

The property was perfect for our family and friends. It was so nice that the place was clean, bright and updated. The maintenance person was immediately available to assist us with the parking situation. The parking is the only issue we had as we were assigned a parking spot that required a car elevator which was extremely cumbersome. Overall, we were pleased with the overall experience and would recommend this property to others.

My family spent 4 nights in this lovely unit. It's absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful views, amazingly spacious and extremely clean. Loved the patio, drinking coffee in the morning, sitting by the fire at night and soaking in the hot tub after a swim...doesn't get much better than this. Walking distance to the pier, beautiful sunsets and best of all, you can hear the waves from any room in the unit. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the fact that we could bring our dog!

Our rental was exactly as pictured. It was spacious and clean. We all agreed that the beds were the most comfortable beds we had ever slept on. We can't wait to stay again! Enjoyed our stay

The place is fairly new and nice. It had almost everything one would need to be comfortable. It is on the beach but you need to climb over the rocks to access the beach. The view is amazing. The lack of central A/C was not ideal, however, they did provide portable units. The wifi service was terrible as well as cell phone signals. (Sprint, Tmobile, and Verizon) And if you stay in Unit #6 be prepared for the parking lift. The lift takes about 10 minutes to get in and out of each time. Overall we had a nice time and I will definitely visit Oceanside again, but I will choose a different property next time.

Nice view

surprised we were not told the main a/c did not work which made it too hot to sleep in bedrooms, we slept on the couches by the portable loud a/c unit. could not open windows at night because neighbors were having a huge party till 3am. the jet in the jacuzzi were not working properly. there was a previous hole in the screen door so we could not have the patio door open because our dogs could get out.

Beautiful House with Breathtaking Views

I rented this unit for a going away weekend for my brother. There were a total of 8 people and we were so incredibly comfortable! The house is immaculate and had everything we needed, from laundry soap to towels to all the dishes and utensils you'll ever need. The house itself was beautiful and spacious. And the view! Unfortunately, during the time we went (September 2016) the water came all the way up to the rocks, leaving no sand/beach. But I expected this with the location, etc. If you walk along the boardwalk .7 miles, you'll get to the pier, and there you'll have an actual beach with sand/fire pits, etc. But I cannot tell you how happy I was with Beachfront. I may have bothered Rachael planning this trip because I asked her about 10 different properties but she was so helpful throughout the entire process! I was a bit confused about the layout and all but once I got there it made sense. There are 2 houses side by side under property #128. You share a patio, but you both have your own BBQs and spas, etc. There is a glass wall and walkway dividing the two. I do see now what previous renters mean about the central air. It doesn't appear to work. However, in the closet at the back of the unit, there are 3 portable fans to place in the rooms without ceiling fans. There is also an AC unit in the living room and is pretty powerful. Also, the parking situation is inconvenient for units 3 & 6. There is an underground lift that raises and lowers the car. You need to close the garage door, enter the 4 digit code then the # sign on the keypad. The light will flash green, and then you can hit the up or down bottom. You have to hold it down until it is done. It's rather slow and you have to lower it each time so the car behind can get out. I would suggest just parking on the street. It's pretty cool though. The location to restaurants is amazing also! We had an incredibly time and will definitely use Beachfront Only again! Thank you!

Amazing Rental

This rental exceeded my expectation. The house was clean, and came equipment modern appliances and comfortable furniture. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a beach front property.

The staff was tremendous as well. For example, I paid for an early check-in that would have granted me access to the house at 2:00 p.m. instead of 4:00. When I had an issue accessing the house, I called the agent (Diana) I booked the rental through, and she quickly rectified the problem. Additionally, I was provided a late checkout to make up for the inconvenience.

The only minor issue I had was the wifi would cut in and out, making it difficult to stream music. Other than that, this is an amazing rental.

RELAXING GET AWAY - almost perfect

Everything was what we expected. The photos was exactly how the property looked. New and Clean! Would definitely come back some day. Location was great, steps away from the beach. Loved the BBQ, hot tub and fire pit. A few things prevented me giving it a full 5 stars tho:
1) Hot Water didn't run a long as we like during our showers. Maintenance did try to fix it and improved a little the 2nd night, but still had cold water if you showered longer. Had to shower cold water first night as it was after hours and non one was able to come fix it.
2) Hot Tub was not warm enough the 1st night. Since it took hours to heat up, we weren't able to use it the first night. Temperature was at 82 degrees instead of 100 when we arrived the first night. That was a big bummer!
2) no instruction on how to operate the garage lift.
3) very weak wifi signal in the unit.

First-Time Renter

My family had never rented a beach home before this visit. We stayed on the beach level of this rental in early June 2016 and loved it. Being able to walk out onto the sand, enjoy a nearly private beach, and hear the ocean every moment was amazing.

Our only negatives were that this unit is required to use the parking lift in the garage and the Wi-fi inside the rental was weak and spotty. The lift didn't always work smoothly and was inconvenient, and the Wi-fi made it tough for us to continue conducting business when needed throughout the week.

Otherwise, the house was clean, gorgeous, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a memorable vacation.

THE BEST OF THE BEST.... from staff to the REST....

Great Location, Beautifully decorated, CLEAN to the MAX. BED's were the best, I really couldn't wait to go to bed. TV would be nice in the bedrooms but hey, had to find something. A few things went wrong but let me tell you... NAILED it when coming to take care of issues. The repair guys were so nice and helpful in every way, I even wanted something else to go wrong so they would come back. BeachFront only should have a 5 STAR rating.
One thing I would like to see happen is on the weekends you should have a better response team available. Checked in on Sunday and found our problems and No one came back to us, left many messages until their mailbox was full.. But when Monday came along Bam! they were on it. But that doesn't help the folks who check-in on the weekend.
I also have to say Parking was crazy at first. until Patrick came and explained the parking program. I think that should be explained in the pre-check-in email. Tenants moved numbers around and then there's the car lift..... HUMMMM But got through it. Overall will not rent from anyone else but BeachFront Only

Wow awesome rental

My family and I have stayed in the bungalows previously through this same company and this year I wanted a jacuzzi. We got quite an upgrade from 700 sq foot bungalow to this amazing and large rental. this rental is huge and nicely appointed. I took naps every day by the sliding glass door, listening to waves in the comfort of a nice day bed. The appliances were very nice, they had two sets of washer/dryers and included laundry detergent. Not anything negative to say about this one except getting luggage in and out is somewhat of a task. There is an elevator that could potentially help getting luggage down to the rental but the codes weren't given in the app. Honestly though I didn't really care, we were on the beach, in a beautiful rental and had an incredible time. We will definitely rent this one again and probably bring some friends next time since it is so large.

Perfect retreat!

Six of us - all siblings- gathered for a retreat and were very pleasantly surprised by how spacious and nice the condo was. We cooked together, spent time enjoying the sounds and sights of the ocean, and felt no need to seek activities beyond the hot tub, patio, whale watching, and just enjoying one another's company. The location is perfect, with the sea wall just outside our patio. The condo is quiet and private, and met all our needs, including elevator access for those with accessibility issues. The garage, laundry facilities, numerous bathrooms and sleeping areas were perfect. We would return and highly recommend.

Love This Place!

Beautiful place! Clean and super spacious. Much bigger than I had anticipated. More like a 3 bedroom; we brought a blow up bed for loft..there're lots of sleeping space. Walking distance to pier. Beach is nice but sandy part is very little, so nowhere to lay out. We had fun body boarding and playing in the waves. This is our second stay with Beachfront..they're awesome! Can't wait to try another property from them next year.

Beach House Stay.

While my stay was great. The floors where not clean when we got there. The ice maker did not work and they where unable to fix it. The WiFi did not work either. So we could watch movies or use our cell phones either because there was no reception. The people that where above us every morning it was like they where moving furniture and at 5 am in the morning, it was terrible to wake up every morning to that. AND while there was enough room for 11 people to sleep, There was not enough blankets for all. I only found one extra blanket and a lap blanket. the motion sensor light in the hallway are inconvenient while trying to sleep and are very bight.

My family did not want to leave!

My family had a wonderful time at this beautiful new property. The entire place was nicely decorated and had all new appliances and furnishings. Each one of us enjoyed our stay so very much and we didn't want to leave. The location was perfect. We took a walk to the Oceanside Pier, had dinner and walked back. We were able to jump in the ocean both days and body surf right in front of this rental. The place was so nice, we really didn't want to do much else, but hang out. We relaxed, watched movies and played games. My husband, 17 year old, 8 year old and I would love to go back any time of the year!
