We had a great time staying in this unit! The view from the patio is amazing! So fun to people watch and still get the views of the ocean! The bedroom/bath setup was perfect for the 4 adults and 2 kids. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Place We\'ve Stayed!

The best place we’ve ever stayed! The most beautiful scenery and the rental had great updated amenities inside. The kitchen had everything we needed and the layout was perfect in terms of the spacing. Our friends and family enjoyed the bedrooms and the short distance to the beach. The place had a great view for sunsets and it was an optimal location with great stores and restaurants close by on the coast. Would definitely come here again!

Really enjoyed the location as it is within walking distance to pretty much everything. The property was clean and prepared for us. The only disappointment I had was the refrigerator. You can only put a small amount of food in it or it does not cool correctly. We had a lot of food spoil. When I reported it someone came out right away. We were told we had too much food so it wouldn't cool correctly and they brought us some dry ice to help. I put in no more food than I do in my refrigerator at home. It should have been able to cool without food spoiling. If I did what they said we would have to been running out to store daily. The other problem was there were no screens on the windows in the bedrooms right off the front door. This is totally unacceptable and dangerous as we had a four year old who was constantly wanting to look out the windows. The windows, in this area, had to be kept closed the whole time and we could not enjoy the sound of the ocean and the breeze. Other than these two issues the property was well maintained.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We loved the view of the ocean and having direct access to the beach. The wrap around balcony was the star of this property! We actually didn't even go to the beach itself since it was front and center and could sit and enjoy. The apartment itself was the right amount of space and perfect for four people. It felt very open. The size of the bedrooms were perfect. Loved the layout and how accessible things were. The center bathroom was great in space and loved that it already had an accessibility bench for people with mobile issues. On that note, I did find that the tiles could be a little slippery when wet, and if you add soap to the mix, it became more slippery even for people without mobility issues. I would suggest adding texture to those tiled floors to make them safer. When we got there and sat on the furniture we found that there were wet. Maybe from the cleaning service, but we had to put a blanket on them to avoid our clothes getting wet until they dried out. The kitchen was awesome and had great storage space, but the bigger pot that came with the strainer was missing. Luckily we had brought a steamer, but if I had wanted to make spaghetti or steamed vegetables I would have been out of luck. Both balcony doors didn't lock and the sleeper sofa in the living room we couldn't open. We also were never able to use the fire pit because the knobs were stuck. So I would suggest looking into those features, the bathroom floors being a big one, like I mentioned if I found it slippery for me then for a person with mobility issues it's an even bigger safety hazard. Some the portable fans and heaters didn't work, so would have those checked and the individual AC control wasn't user friendly and had issues getting it to operate. The beds were a little too firm for our preferences, but overall, it was a great experience, would repeat a stay there. Addressing these tweaks can go a long way for improving the experience. It was walking distance to everywhere, which I loved. Your agent Nancy was the one that suggested this property and she really sold me on her experience being there and gotta say it was a great suggestion. Overall enjoyed the stay.

Absolutely beautiful property, we rented units 1 and 2. Location was perfect, minor maintenance issues which is expected with a beachfront home, the property management team was very responsive. Worked out perfectly for three generations of our family to stay, which each having their own private bathroom. Wished the weather would have cooperated - even with rain, you can't beat the view. It was such a great time and we can't wait to come back again!

so to explain further my girlfriends and I stayed in unit 702-4 from sunday to wednesday Oct 9 thru Oct 12th that unit was GREAT (had issues with fridge (left door would not shut it was broken and the water dispenser didn't work) but that taken care right away) When me and my family moved into unit 2 on Wed this unit was another story. Found dried coffee spills under coffee maker so looks like counter was not wiped down, found trash under sofa. The accordian blind facing beach between the two sliders was broken couldn't use it (right side fixture disconnected from base) the overall condition of slider door coverings is in dyer need of replacement (the ones facing the ocean had to be pulled down manually if we needed to block out the sun, the handle system didn't work to pull them down or up. Didn't realize the south slider door (the single door of the system) would not close nor would it lock. found this out on Wed night at midnight messed with it for 1/2 hr before we got it to close/lock then called for maintenance on thursday morning to get it fixed. the vanity in the first bedrm was a mess cabinet door looked to be in need of repair couldn't close and the laminent?? was coming off. couldn't open the drawers for fear the cabinet would fall off. if this was the first place i had stayed in, i wouldn't consider coming back. My opinion, all of these things should be taken care of prior to it being rented out to others going forward. I paid almost 7K for the 5 days we stayed there, way too much money. I know your website says to address things right away but there would have been too many things that needed attention during our stay to do that. i do appreciate the slider door being addressed right away tho the maintenance crew you have is very friendly and prompt!!! we have signed up for next year in unit 4 at the end of Sept and all of us are looking forward to staying there again!!!!!! We had a great time overall but wanted to make sure you knew the grievances that we thought were important to pass on regarding unit 2's condition. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Slow start as gate to garage was broken which delayed our entrance to the property. Cris and another OFO employee eventually forced it open, however we then had weaken security for the 5 nights stay as anyone could gain access to the building common areas through the opened garage. The worst issue was a broken A/C unit that made a loud terrible noise 24/7. Cris could not disengage the unit and hence we had very poor sleep quality for two nights of 5 before the A/C repairman was able to made the repair; also the unit did not provide any cooling until repaired. I have a recording of the noise we had 24/7 if you provide me a text or email address to send the recording to. We are considering a repeat stay in 2023, but wonder if Ocean Front Only will offer any compensation for the gate and A/C issue that we can apply to a 2023 stay? Also, minor issues, the only can opener did not work as the gears were rusted closed, and the shower head held by a zip tie needs to be fixed better or replaced as it falls down directing shower water to the handicap chair not the person showering. Nice place but some hiccups

Nice place but had some problems with inflexibility with management prior to checking in. Also, communication was not great; as an example, we ordered a Keurig to be delivered but it never came and we got a notice that it had been delivered 3 days after we checked out. I\'m sure the holiday weekend impacted things but we were also a little taken aback by the significant number of transients in the area, and one of the nights was a bit unfortunate as 6 police cars were lined up in front of our oceanfront view as they attempted to arrest one of them for many hours. The next morning\'s view was a large trash pile that the transient created by dragging various trashcans across the beach and pouring it all on the beach and road in front of us; it was finally cleaned up as we checked out. The house itself was beautiful, though the flooring was pulled up in most of the home which we thought seemed to be related to prior flooding, and the AC units were separated in all the bedrooms and they were dated and therefore difficult to operate. We will not be staying again but most of that is area-dependent and not as much condo-related.

Great but some items need repair

Overall the house was great but a few things need some repair. Some parts of the stove did not ignite and we had to use a handheld lighter to get it going. Another item was the outdoor fire pit. The ignition also did not work and we had to yet again light it with a handheld lighter.

I would also like to note that after using the fire pit for a while, the rocks started “popping” and shooting in the air. It is definitely a safety concern so we ended up turning that off completely.

Another issue when showering in the bathroom with the big glass shower, the water leaks outside to the main floor of the restroom. The water is not contained within the glass shower itself.

Other than those issues, the place was great. The panoramic door is amazing. We had it open pretty much the whole time. Location is great and walking distance to many things.

Best place on the beach

Perfect Getaway!

We chose this location because it is right on the water. The doors open up from both sides, which provides the most amazing view of the ocean and some entertaining people watching. The Condo was fully stocked with all the necessities of home. Our kids loved the bunk beds and foosball table. If the kids were in the back playing, we could hardly hear them in the front. There is so many different sleeping options! The location is close to the pier, shopping and dining and the one way street on the strand is busy, but quiet. We loved our time here and will return!!

Exceeded Expectations!!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience. The location was amazing. The unit was clean, beautifully decorated, and all the comforts of home were provided including a well-equipped kitchen. There are plenty of options for food nearby and a Walmart for groceries is a short drive away. It’s situated between the harbor and the pier so you can easily get wherever you want to go in Oceanside. The absolute best part was opening those massive glass doors to allow the salty air and roar of the ocean waves to come rolling inside. The sunsets were spectacular and the view is unparalleled. We left a couple nights for dinner reservations at fancy restaurants on the water and I totally regret that! You’re not going to get a better seat on the water than in this unit, so next time, we’ll be ordering Uber eats and dining while watching the sun go down in the unit. I’m telling you, you won’t want to leave! Our family seriously can’t wait to go back.

Best view, beautiful sunsets!

We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing experience! I really liked that the wall opened up on two sides and brought the outside beach atmosphere in. The unit was clean with nice furniture. There were some little annoyances like the toaster didn’t work, wine glasses were stained or had residue from the dishwasher which may also explain why the dishes also had some minor specs that were easily rinsed away. The knives were dull (which can be dangerous!). But overall, it’s beautiful, modern vacation home, good location and close to everything! I would stay again.

Location was nice, furniture layout can improve, also some small maintenance, such paint, drywall work, roll up shades by panoramic window needs be changed. Also the biggest issue we had was the renters upstairs extremely loud, no concerned what so ever they parked in our spot twice. Large group of people coming in and out also had dog that woke us up at 4:00 in the morning. Other then that it was a good stay.

Saying goodbye to 2020

We absolutely enjoyed our family getaway in this beautiful unit. We loved the panoramic doors that allowed for front and center beach views and safe distanced people watching. The unit was perfect for our family of 6 and furry companions. It was clean, comfortable and stocked pretty well. It was walking distance to restaurants and shops.
If you need to do some work zoom meetings just bring your own wifi spot as we had trouble connecting for the one day we had some online work to do.

Best Oceanfront vacation rental ever !!!!!

Thank you Beachfront rental for the upgrade to this wonderful property that was beyond our expectations. The pictures for this property do not do it justice as when you walk in you are in awe of the view. The opening of the windows looking at the ocean was spectacular and we had everything we needed for our entire family. The Beachfront rental office is awesome and when we needed a few items or a repair someone was visiting up within 15-30 minutes. This was our second family reunion and we immediately booked for the following year before the end of the week. Thank you so much for all the little extra's such as lots of linen, towels all we needed was a boogie board and we will bring that next year. Also wear surf shoes or water shoes as sting rays were in the water at times. Thank you for such a wonderful week and the ease of information sent to emails/texts and phone calls. Looking forward to next year 2021 !!!. Also the property was extremely clean and this was important during this pandemic and we thank you for that. Great beachfront location

Great spot my family has come back to a few times. The condo is spacious for our family of 5 with a couple extended family members as well. We enjoy the views from the wrap around balcony and your literally steps from the sand. The water is amazing and the tide moves out in the afternoon providing even more sand space to play in. If you’re somewhat local I recommend bringing key kitchen items to cook/bake with. The kitchen is stocked with basics, but not everything. For the most part the place is clean. We will absolutely be coming back again.

Great Location as usual

We've been renting this place 3rd time/3rd year, 1st year we rented the upper unit (bigger).We always come back because of the proximity to the beach, we enjoyed eating our meals with the sound of & watching the waves & waiting for the sunset. The 1st time we came, it was nearly newly renovated so furnitures & appliances, kitchen tools were still great. Unfortunately, we noticed that furnitures are getting old or shabby & kitchen tools aren't that we decided last year to bring our own this yeAR. The sink/garbage disposal stinks so bad no matter how we tried cleaning it. Due to covid-19 issues, we didn't ask the company to send someone to fix it. We don't want any stranger coming in while we are occupying the place.

Beautiful space

Beautiful location with plenty of room and a well-equipped kitchen. The panoramic view was definitely the highlight of the stay. It's amazing during weekdays with all windows open and there are a lot fewer people at the beach. Admittedly, the place is a bit worn out compared to the picture. I wish it was better maintained and cleaned a little better upon our arrival (stains and small rips on furniture, bedsheet etc. and couple small trash still found)... but was a very nice stay overall.

But to those who are concerned about COVID, the staff doesn't seem to wear masks around the property from what I saw. Not sure if it's the culture of Oceanside but when I got there Saturday, the area was PACKED. Beach was full, large crowds lingering and wondering about, many people running in and out of the building - but almost no masks. Of course, that's not on the company but wish at least their staff would wear masks.

Amazing VIEW and GREAT HOME!

We loved the large open living room and kitchen and enjoyed being able to open up the outside with the large sliding doors. The location is great being in between the pier and harbor. We were very happy with the cleanliness of home as well. It was nice having beach towels provided and nice to have a washer and dryer since we stayed a week. The AC units worked AMAZING!!! The only things we would suggest is that there were more lounging furniture in the living room such as a large sectional. The armless chairs and one couch were not enough to accommodate our entire family. The space is definitely big enough for upgraded furniture. It would also be nice to have a couch in front of the TV area. The chairs shown in the living room were not the chairs in the home when we arrived. There were lots of kitchen ware but some larger pans or griddles would be great for home cooking. All in all it was a great vacation home and we will be back again.

My dream come true!

This was so much more than I could have imagined. The house sits on The Strand, which is a street for all the rentals along there. The beach is next to the street So you can sit on this beautiful balcony and feel you are already on the sand. I liked that we could stake our area and just walk back to the house and hang out until we were ready to go in the water. The home is beautiful and has everything you need. There are two garage spots for the cars. There is metered parking on the street behind the house and a whole public parking which charged a minimum price for the day and there is overnight parking. There is A/C, but it consists of a unit in each room. It is loud and one guest couldn't sleep. Didn't bother me though. We've already reserved this home for next year. I can't wait!

Family Reunion July 2020

We booked Units S207-1,2,3,4 (all four units in building) for a family reunion in July 2020. We had a couple minor issues the first day but the maintenance staff was extremely responsive in handling issues. When we checked in the garbage containers were full, we thought they would be taken care of by maintenance but we had to call to have them put out to be emptied. The location is great, the units are clean, and have everything you need. It is expensive but our family really enjoyed it and had a great time.

Great house on the Strand

The house was exactly as pictured. It was sparkling clean and comfortable. The location was excellent and we were able to walk to stores, restaurants, etc. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything that we needed to cook, and the view was amazing. Parking in the garage below the units was very convenient, however *note to lowered cars or cars without a lot of clearance* the metal lip that is on the ground upon exiting the garage will tear up the bottom of your car every time you leave. Not sure if that can be fixed or not, since the sliding gate rolls on that lip. The tv in the living room has a blue ribbon that runs vertically down the screen on about a 1/4 of the screen, but it is still watchable. We couldn't find any laundry detergent for the washer and dryer, but purchased some to use. But otherwise this house was amazing and I immediately re-booked it for another trip this Spring!

Wonderful stay.

The stay was AMAZING. Those doors — both living room walls worth of doors — opening up to the ocean and that view. The girls had plenty of room as teenagers to get alone time from each other although they used the bunk beds, but the room with the full size bed and chair was nice to hang out in for them. My sister and brother in law loved their room and WOW the view in the morning from the master bedroom! The instructions on the iPad were perfect, we had everything we needed. Close to a cute, small market we could get groceries so we didn’t have to drive far at all. Wonderful neighbors and their kiddos on the balcony were super cute making chair and blanket forts to hang out in for the evening. We especially loved the patio and all those comfy chairs and the gas fire pit that kept us warm while we drank wine. We only had one night but the property is so lovely it felt like a week of vacay. Also, I can’t thank you enough for answering all my questions so fast. I had a lot, but always feel a bit nervous to take care of someone’s property properly. We wound up having plenty of time in the morning since we chose to wake early to enjoy the place. To other reviewers, yes it is a 10 AM checkout but no one is going to fine you for being 1 min late out the door. If you see someone by the door when you leave it’s the cleaning girls. I mean, don’t be 10MIN late getting out, but also don’t be stressed by the 10AM checkout either. There is a fee if you don’t check out in time but my feeling is this is if you prevent the cleaning girls from being able to begin on time. If you’re still wrangling your luggage and making trips to the car to load - and they can enter at 10AM - you’re okay. Thanks again to BFO property and all the helpful people who answered my questions. You all were so kind. We absolutely loved our time there so very much.

Incredible property!

Gorgeous ocean front views! This has to be the newest, most updated, panoramic property on the Oceanside beach! Very clean and neat. Only downside were the numerous doors and hinges needing lubrication as many squeaked consistently. Other than that, from start to finish, a pleasurable vacation stay. We will be back!

Amazing condo, amazing company to rent from!

This is our second year having a "staycation" with beach front only vacation rentals. We loved our rental last year and absolutely adored this condo as well. Incredible view, 2 guaranteed parking spaces, lots of space and room for overnight guests, all the kitchen supplies we needed. . . the panoramic doors and gas fire pit were definitely my favorite features of this condo! The rental process is so smooth and easy, the units are easy to access, clean, lots of supplies included. . . I initially found beach front only when I had trouble finding an air BNB or VBRO that would suit our needs-- we wanted to have a family gathering and neither of those rental agencies would allow for such a thing. Beach front has multiple beautiful properties, great rates, and is the best at accommodating family daytime events. I have had no issues at all and will continue to rent from them for years to come. You cannot go wrong with this company, their services, their prices, and what they provide.

2019 Girls Trip

Fantastic View

Enjoyed this beachfront condo very much. The view is incredible. We had a small probablem operating the heating/AC units that was immediately taken care of by very nice and professional maintenance people. We have also rented this unit this summer but I had mixed up rental dates and the property management immediately took care of for me. Exceptional family outing

My whole family had great time staying at the Carlsbad Oceanside beachfront condo S207-2.

The view of the ocean, beach and pier is tremendous. Very easy to walk to the beach and a short nice walk along the beach to the pier.

Underground garage is so nice and clean. The whole property is in great condition. Excellent kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen utensils. Furnitures are cozy.

Good restaurants are close by, very convenient.

The only issue we had is that it seems not easy to adjust the air conditioning and heating.

It's definitely a great place to stay for vacation, especially for surfing lovers.

A romantic getaway

The Condo and location are beautiful and the patio views and amenities are exceptional, however...
Each room has it's own wall mounted fan coil (AC unit) which require a remote control to operate. For our stay someone? decided to remove ALL of these remotes and select the temperature settings for us.
Two problems arised.

1. The fan coils are noisy, actually so noisy they woke us up and caused us to loose sleep and without a remote we couldn't turn them off which was a shame because we didn't need them running.
2.The temperature at the entrance of the condo and bedrooms was way too cold.
At this price point I would not expect to be locked out of the heating/ cooling system and unfortunately in this case it provide a temperature and sleep discomfort that could have easily been avoided.

Wow!!

So can I say wow! The App has everthing I needed to get me there, where to park, and codes to get into the home. We walked down the hall to see the most amazing views. Breath taking.The sunsets were spectacular. Everything we needed was there. A quick trip to the store and we were ready to relax. Found some great local dinning. Rode bicycles on the strand and around town. Swam in the ocean. Watched movies on the smart TV. But most importantly, was the quality time spent together. Memories that will last a lifetime.

Beautiful home in a spectacular location

The photos accurately show how beautiful this home is and how incredible the beachfront location is. Those beach facing windows really do completely open up creating a feeling of sitting on the beach in your own sofa. The kitchen is complete with modern appliances all in good working order. And a large fridge. And a huge clothes washer and dryer. Designated and covered parking in southern California is really valuable also.

Amazing!

Unit was exactly as described. Property was clean. Plenty of towels and kitchen utensils. We had a fabulous family vacation! Only trouble was with the air conditioning. Unable to adjust temperature in the unit, if you shut it off you have to call to have them remotely reset it.

Great Fun!

Our immediate family (3 generations) joined us in this beautiful condo with a breathtaking view! We had so much fun we are hoping to return next year. This location is perfect...steps to the sand, short walk to the pier, restaurants and shopping. The sunsets and sunrises are fantastic and the beach is clean and well kept, as was this rental. AC Issues

Aug 3-6 2018
The following problems with the A/C units were reported DURING our stay and document the A/C issue. A/C issues were NOT resolved during our time in the Condo Rental.
One of the main reasons we chose this Condo was because it had AC. We were very uncomfortable with the temperature of our unit during our stay and are very disappointed the AC did not function correctly.
3 Aug - AC worked in Living Room (LR). In back bedroom, AC was extremely loud when it cycled off and on, every 1 min 23 sec. Our 4 family members in the room were unable sleep.
4 Aug - After spending the day at the beach, no AC functioning in any rooms. We called Maintenance and Brandon determined AC not working throughout condo. He said he would call for a repair person to come out 5 Aug at 10:30:am. We all (9 family members) spent an uncomfortable hot night and were unable to sleep.
5 Aug - At @ 11:15 a.m., two AC technicians from All Day Heating and Air checked all AC units. Josh from All Day Heating and Air said there are problems with back bedroom and Living Room (LR). Other units were reset and functioned correctly.
In LR they could not tell if unit was running correctly or not because WiFi control would not measure indoor temp. They said they were unable to contact additional tech support, since closed on Sunday.
Josh said In back bedroom, they could not do anything about noise of the AC unit. It was set at too low temp. It’s the pump in the unit and the way it drains. He reset the unit and said that may correct the noise problem. The unit was still loud during the night and 4 family members were unable to sleep.
The Living Room AC unit did not cool and continued to blow warm air only the entire day and night. We all were very uncomfortable.

We loved the layout, location, panoramic views, easy of booking, safety, and amenities of the Condo. We were disappointed that for the amount we paid, the AC did not function correctly and mad

Property is awesome. The floor plan is open, with the elevation and proximity to the beach, the front and side panoramic doors make you feel like you are on the beach. It property is high enough your view is not blocked by cars or pedestrians, and giving a bit extra privacy vs a ground level property. The property is well maintained and managed, kitchen is stocked with utensils, pots pans, everything you need to cook most meals. We had a couple minor issues that were quickly resolved by the management company. I have staying in 10 or so vacation rentals over the last few years, this was the best managed property I have stayed at.

We enjoyed our time so much we are planning our next stay here.

Amazing view!

My family of 5 stayed here during the first week of January. The unit is exactly as pictured. We opened the panoramic windows every day and basked in the sunshine on the balcony or on the sofa in the late afternoon. There are no closets, but hooks and a few hangers. This unit has one above it and we heard the children upstairs running. We did not hear normal walking or any conversation. We would absolutely return, but I would check that there were no small children in the unit above. All of the doors had combination locks, which was a major convenience over using keys.

The only drawbacks were elevator not working to get to the entry and a bed (we purchased a blow up) for the "short room" It allowed for more privacy then the pull out sofa in the living room. Overall we enjoyed the stay (parking is restricted to 2 cars also)

PERFECT LOCATION

This beach house is in the perfect location. It is across a mostly unused street from beautiful white sand. Everything is new and comfortable. There are plenty of beach towels and bath towels. I would definitely stay here again!

Can't get any closer or more comfortable right next to beach

The property was exactly as the pictures indicate, right next to beach separated by a narrow one lane and one way road. Very modern, clean, functional, and comfortable property, we were in corner unit which came with wide ocean views. Parking was very convenient with 2 spots in basement a direct access to apartment unit.

The unit is on less crowded side of Oceanside beach but still short walk from Pier.

One improvement we would have liked were better toiletries.

Can't Beat This Location and View

Overall, really great place. It is brand new so it was obvious that only a few people had stayed there yet as some things still need to be worked out. Especially in the price point. The location is litterally right across a one way street that is only a street for units/residences along the strip. So not a lot of traffic. The folding doors along both sides is incredible. We were in unit one. Here are our three issues: Lighting, all lights are on a timer (obviously trying to save energy). I get that, but if they actually put some lights especially in the great room on a dimmer it would set a better ambiance as the lights are too bright. It would also save energy. 3rd/bonus rooms. Because of the entrance to the underground garage was right underneath it cuts off the bottom floor. So the heights of the ceilings are only about 6.5 feet. These rooms are only for kids. So double check what unit as these smaller rooms are NOT disclosed. The upstairs unit #3 is probably the best unit.
