The views from this unit are incredible! This upper level unit is part of a triplex that sits directly on the beach! Enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean from the living room, dining room, and kitchen! New flooring in the living room, a cozy fireplace, and a large private balcony with a fire pit overlooking the water make for a charming and relaxing beachfront getaway. A bbq and fully equipped granite countertop kitchen are available for those who want the cooking and dining by the sea experience. Get your feet in the sand by heading down to the beach common area shared with only one other unit. This unit has everything you could possibly need for an amazing beach front vacation!

Great Value

Has three bedrooms and sleeps up to 10. Only one bathroom and balcony on side are only negatives. But you can bbq on balcony and has seating for 10 inside/outside. Can enjoy the view inside or out.

Had the greatest relaxing time

The view was as pictured and we all loved it.It was wonderful to hear the sound of the waves all day, watching the surfers and the birds swimming along the waves. The kitchen had all that we needed. I just didn’t like the front door being without a cover and can see the outside. The bathroom needs update and the couch in the LR. My dog loved the place too.

Amazing views and kitchen! Very dog friendly

We rented this unit because of the views and the kitchen. Did not disappoint! The ease of use with our dog was priceless. Private area for outside grilling that was totally secure. Not having to worry about my dog while we were cooking was wonderful. Relaxed and happy dog made for a relaxed and happy couple. Can’t wait to book again. Only complaint would be that there were some areas needing repairs and would have liked a curtain on the front door.

The unit is getting run down, need a more comfortable couch, but we saw that the outdoor coating had been reapplied on the balcony area and that was nice. The beach this year was gone, but the view is still wonderful. We just normally book each summer with the family for the beach access below and during high tide there was none even at low tide it was a very shallow beach. Guess the last two years were just got lucky having that section below. All in all still love the location.

Loved the house & location. We did have to unclog a bathroom drain & the dishwasher isn’t mounted properly & wobbles when using. The shower door needs hung on a new track. Overall this was a 10 out of 10 place to stay. We really enjoyed it, will come back again and will recommend to others. The fire pit out back, as well as the outdoor gas fire pit and grill on our balcony were nice touches.

wonderful and I'll be back again. Two issues: 1) put a spatula in the kitchen! That was the only thing missing. 2) the glass doorway makes it possible for anyone walking past to see in at night time. A simple drop curtain can fix that for less than $100. Real lack of privacy. Other than those two items, it was wonderful!

Spectacular view! Absolute amazing time! Very clean, very safe, very quiet! Fully equipped with everything that you need but you won’t need much with an unobstructed view of the ocean and the beach at your back doorstep! We stayed for 8 nights walking distance to the Buccaneer Cafe, we barely moved our car all week! We just wanted to stay and enjoy the view and the beach! Our place away from home!

We have stayed at this same location for 2 years in a row now! The barbecue grill does not work properly. You have to light it with the lighter and the knob that controls the heat just keeps turning. If you are looking at the washer and dryer the waher on the bottom left sticks at 7 minutes and does not finish. Also, the parking is not numbered correctly. We stayed in 1 and we actually had another couple open our garage and park inside along with our belongings that were in the washer and dryer at the time! The parking diagram does not match the numbers at the location! Overall, this is our perfect place! Just a few minor fixes. I already booked for next year!

I've been a loyal Beachfront Only customer for many, many years. you can't go wrong with any of their properties. This one in particular is great for my needs, and they truly provide as many of the necessities can think of. I love having not only an ocean view with this property, but veqxh access to a shared beach. if I had to criticize at all, I would be greedy and suggest it'd be great if we had access to bicycles and beach chairs; but that would definitely not deter me regardless in the future. u love Oceanside and Beachfront Only! and I wasn't even paid for this review 🙂

Location! Location!

Perfect location for family fun! Access to beach (although not actual stairs, it was manageable if you can do stairs). Breathtaking views/sounds all from the top unit. Unit had everything you would need minus laundry. Some things were a little worn but that is expected with high turn over breath rentals. It was VERY comfortable and my family loved it!!! Highly recommend staying here, we hope to return again.

Great Views

Overall it was great space. The listing needs a few updates. The condo actually has 3 rooms and 4 beds! It was a nice surprise. The condo had everything we needed in the kitchen. The location is great but restaurants and such are not within walking distance a car is needed for this particular condo. At no fault of the owner the beach was all rocks, large river rocks. The city of Oceanside has failed to do dredging, hopefully they can fix this by summer, it was a bummer we couldn’t walk the beach or play on the sand.

This rental unit has the best view of the ocean!! Nothing but sand between us and the water! It was quiet and peaceful. The unit was very clean. Beds in master were very comfortable. Loved having use of the complimentary washer/dryer in the building. A larger TV in the living room would have made our stay more pleasant, as well as having a TV in the Master bedroom. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation with an unparalleled ocean view!!

Best Oceanfront stay ever! Relaxation at its Finest!!

Our 4 nights turned into 10 nights! From the moment we entered our unit, the view was breathtaking exactly like the pictures shown! This property was super spacious, very cozy and had the perfect fireplace to make it even cozier! The outside balcony was very well equipped for barbecuing and lounging while enjoying the ocean view. Kitchen was fully stocked like your own regular household would have. Beachfront Only Management was fast and efficient when responding to any of our requests and needs. It’s too bad this place was already booked in advance, otherwise I would’ve stayed longer. At a place like this, you’ll NEVER want to go home! I can’t wait to rent again!!! Better than Expected

Awesome Place!

Oceanfront Condo

Perfect Gettaway

Amazing Getaway at Beachfront Condo!

We arrived to a very clean, spacious condo with an amazing view! The decor was modern and the kitchen was very spacious and well equipped. Unfortunately, the beaches were closed due to COVID-19, but the view was amazing and the beach sounds and smells rushed into the open windows. We had an amazing time despite not being able to put our feet in the water. It was a very nice change of scenery. The registration was very easy and the staff very responsive to our inquiries. Relaxing weekend

The property was amazing. Well kept up and very clean. The ocean views, the patio, and the beach access were phenomenal. Having 2 assigned parking spaces for the unit was also a plus, and since we were street level we didn't have to deal with stairs. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The only knock on the property, and one that is not fault of the owners or property manager, is that there is a waste treatment facility 1-2 blocks away, and you can definitely smell the sewer in the air from time to time. I guess you get used to it after a while. We only stayed for 3 days, so it was a little hard to adjust to. But it wasn't all day every day, it seemed to linger in the morning and in the early evening for a few hours.

If you stay here go to Buccaneer Cafe, they have the best coffee and breakfast burritos around and it's within walking distance of the property. With great ocean views!

Perfect place to stay!

We had a great time here. Perfect for our surfing family. The boys were able to wake up early, watch the waves from the front rooms and then head downstairs out to the ocean. We were able to watch them surf while enjoying our coffee at the table while warm inside.
Front mud room was perfect to keep surfboards.
Kitchen had everything we needed.
Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
A little cold at times (visiting in winter) but the room heaters worked well.
Overall would stay here again. Considering making it a tradition.

Great Ocean Front Property for Groups

We had a great time at this property! The outdoor patio and beach were lovely and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The only complaints we have are that it was weird that there was only one bathroom for a place that sleeps 15 people. We also had trouble getting the dishwasher to start and the bunk beds did not have any ladders. Also, the guests below us were very hostile. It's important to note this unit is one floor of a three floor building.

Best vacation ever!!

Everything we expected and more! So relaxing. Everything we needed plus washer and dryer! Kitchen well stocked with dishes and almost everything you need to cook! Refrigerator had an ice maker which for me was a must have! We didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be booking again!! My only suggestions are to maybe invest in reusable coffee filter and add some hotdog/marshmallow roasting utensils. We are in love with the house and the location!! Not a single problem during our stay! Just can’t say enough how much we loved our stay there!!

It was an Amazing Experience!

We planned this trip to surprise my Nana, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and is currently doing her second round of chemo. It has always been a dream of hers & mine to stay at a beach house. So our family decided to make this a dream come true for her and it was SO WORTH IT! She did not expect to be staying at a beach house, she knew we were going to the beach for a few days but thought we were staying at a hotel. We arrive and she was completely shocked, as were we because the views from this house was INCREDIBLE! Looks exactly like the picture. Oceanfront Fun

LOVED IT!!

This house was PERFECT! It was so well stocked and everything was labeled. There was room for everyone and the location was bomb. I would stay here again and again and would definitely recommend to friends and family! Thank you for a fantastic stay!!

Recommendations: Units aren't marked clearly (ie: 1 upstairs, 2 middle and 3 down). Parking stalls are marked on the pavement (may be better on the wall) Guests in #2 parked in our stalls and theirs. And finally, add an additional sofa for sitting or bigger sectional. Seating was limited compared to how many the house slept.

Oceanside Rental

The property was beautiful and comfortable. They have all the amenities for a long stay.
Some things did not work or work well.. lamps,TV and no instructions for fireplace
The big issue was the strong smell of sewer from 11pm-3am. It will literally wake you up out of a dead sleep. Not the owners fault but the city needs to do something to address the issue.

Paradise

We did not want to leave. Clean home, nice furniture and roomy. View to die for. We viewed dolphins on two days. Was nice for kids to have cable, Netflix and internet on their down time. Would defiantly come back. Due to tides we were able to access beach from about 8am - 2pm. If I had any suggestions it would be to provide plastic ware so that we can take food/drinks down to the sand. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Great Stay in Oceanside

Property was exactly as described. Had a couple last minute questions and an issue with parking but management company responded immediately. There were no instructions about what we needed to do before leaving. Usually trash needs to be taken out, linens pulled, towels piled on washer etc. I sent a note and response was, “make sure you have everything and thanks for staying with us.”

Perfect vacation beach house rental.

We had a family get together for a wedding and decided to rent this beach house. We had 15 kids and adults. There was plenty of space and the location was perfect. We loved being able to see dolphins in the water when we woke up one morning. The fire place and sounds of the ocean were great! The washer and dryer were a bonus. We were a little concerned about only having one bathroom but it worked out fine for us. Would definitely stay there again!

Great Escape

For the most part, the accommodations were wonderful. The sizable living room with large picture windows provided non-stop views of the ocean day and night. The kitchen filled with many new items was amazing. The open area between the living room to dining area to kitchen allowed for constant interaction. We were thrilled with the accessible beach infront of the property. Watch out while showering; powerful water. Two drawbacks: torn/loose window screens and the sitting area’s sand a bit dirty.

Nice Beach Front Rental

The beachfront rental was clean and tidy and just a few steps from the beach. When we arrived, the parking was blocked by a maintenance worker's vehicle. It took a few minutes but the car was finally moved. Though they told us the rental would allow the parking of three vehicles-two in the driveway and one right behind them, this was not the case. Two vehicles could park as long as the back end of each vehicle was in the street since there are bolted cones in the driveway. The hot water pilot went out and they sent maintenance within a half hour to relight it. We played on the beach while we waited for the tank's water to warm up. The kitchen is stocked with enough dishes for 12 so if you have 15 which they said is the maximum for this rental, you'll need to bring a few extra dishes with you. The kids had a blast and they cannot wait to comeback.

Highlight of our Vacation

We had an amazing stay at the house. The kids loved our stay. We took them to Lego Land and the Zoo, they said the best part of our Vacation was the house. We were in a group of 12 and the house fit us comfortably. It was more than I expected. The location was perfect, the house was clean, and took care of all our needs. The view from the house was on point. The fire pit on the landing was a great place to relax at the end of the day. We have all decided that we would go back to this house again and again. I would most definitely recommend staying here. We will be making more trips to California and will look forward to staying at this house.

Serene View

This is a spacious condo with an extraordinarily beautiful view of the ocean, surfers, and the occasional dolphins. The bedrooms are nice, but not exactly as pictured on the website. Sometimes the one-bathroom situation could be a little tricky with just 6 guests. So I can't imagine it if you had 8 or more guests. I would stay there again and am currently planning to book for next year.

Mother's Day Weekend Retreat

The place was super nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were AMAZING! There was a bit of a struggle keeping the bathroom floor dry during showers as the water stream was too strong for the shower curtain to stay in place, but the water felt so good, it was like a massage. Due to the fact that we had a large group including five kids under the age of 7, we would probably go for a first floor unit or a single dwelling house the next time...but we will definitely use Beachfront Only Vacation Rentals again!

Beach House at amazing surf location

We had a few days to getaway from LA to San Diego, with the goal of surfing and relaxing with the family. This home was the beach cottage that our family needed. There was something for everyone! A beach with surf access!!!!! A kitchen to throw together meals while looking at the coastal view, plenty of comfortable sleeping space, and a side balcony for outdoor dinning and lounging. We made friends with a family staying in the bottom unit and hung out swapping stories and toasting marshmallows at the fire pit on the beach. We drove into Carlsbad and Encinitas for shopping and lunch at, Las Olas Mexican restaurant. We can't wait to come back! By the way we leave in a beach town, but staying directly on the beach, listening to the waves crash from every room was a blessing!

Exactly what we needed!

My wife & I came over to Oceanside for a beach get away over Valentines Day. The house was perfect and exactly what we needed to get rejuvenated. The view of the ocean was amazing. We had planned on doing several things while in California but once we got to this house we just decided to stay all 4 days and enjoy it. The house was clean and nicely decorated, and everything was there for us to just stay and not go anywhere else. We are definitely coming back again!

Wonderful Relaxing Vacation

This was one of our best vacation rental experiences! There were adequate amounts of supplies (towels, beach towels, dishes and kitchen tools) and the home was very clean. Directions for check-in, check-out and codes for entering the property were written so well and given early to prepare for our stay. This helped in moving in and out so much more stress-free. After walking the beaches of Oceanside several times during our visit, we concluded this was one of the best spots in the area! It was so relaxing to step out the door to a beautiful beach as well as have the views from the home. The patio has a wonderful view for meals and sunsets! Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Thanksgiving 2016

This Review applies to all 3 units (P5131-1, P5131-2 and P5131-3) that we rented from Beachfront Only Vacation Rentals during the week of Thanksgiving, 2016.
All 3 units were clean, well-organized and adequately stocked. Outdoor areas/porches were neatly arranged and fully functional. The 5 (five) parking spaces that were provided for our vehicles was more than adequate. Location on the beachfront provided a semi-private area for our family of 13.
This rental facility was an excellent venue for our children and grandchildren.
I just received this unsolicited comment from my daughter/son-in-law, who have 2 children and are expecting their 3rd:
“I feel like that entire week went by SO fast and I can't believe we're back to work today-- I miss the beach house and the waves so much!!! ???????? ”

Great Property

Spent a couple of nights for my mom's 86th birthday. Property was extremely clean and the top floor was perfect for mom since there were no stairs to climb to get into the house. Views were phenomenal! Opened up the windows in the living and kitchen areas and it was if you were right down on the beach with the crashing waves and breezes flowing through the house. The outside deck was small, and probably only accommodating to a couple of people if you want to view the ocean, but overall it's an amazing property that we will definitely rent again. The staff at BeachFront were also very attentive. We had a small problem with a disagreeable smell coming from the street sewer system and they not only had someone check on it but provided us with a complimentary late check out for our trouble. A++ property and experience!

Overall good experience.Some simple things to make the stay just a little bit better are: a handle for the faucet outside the front door area to wash out the sand from the beach, it could be removable to be kept inside the house. I purchased a broom and left it at the rental to sweep the sand out, hopefully it stays there for the next renter, you are welcome. a floor plan of the rental would have told me that the upstairs patio was a waste of space and I would have rented a different unit, we never used that patio. Communication with the bottom unit to indicate that the fire pit was a shared commodity, the bottom renters seemed to object to us making a fire one night, I believe they thought we were on their property but we were not, we never crossed the ripped off area but there was resentment from them and it made the experience awkward. From the first day we had ants but the service agents responded immediately to fix. Overall a good stay and I would rent again but it would be a different unit, thanks!

We have been staying at this same location for the past 5 years. And we were pleasantly surprised to see that it had been completely remodeled and updated beautifully. This vacation rental is absolutely perfect. The views are spectacular and the beachfront property is spectacular. All the emeritus are there for the ideal vacation stay. We will definitely return to this property.
