We absolutely love this location. This is our second time staying in the same beach house this year. I did notice this time around the property was in a bad shape. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken, the window screen in the living room was broken and the other window was missing the window screen. Other than those things that were damaged the location and the place is amazing! I will definitely come back again.

This was our 7th visit to P1615. The customer service before and during our stay was fantastic!! A bit disappointed in the condition of the unit. The single bed pullout was broken at the hinges (this is my day bed during our stay so I can read, relax with the window open and have the breeze come in. I have LOVED this day bed. Bathroom hand towel fixture is coming out of the wall. Filthy behind the headboard on the floor with receipts from previous visitors and other junk/dust. It would be nice to see the rope back up designating the "beach" for unit 1 only. Only 4 forks. I know it sounds nitpicky however this is the 2nd time (last year bathroom plumbing did not work and we had to use unit#2 upstairs) that things were just not up to par. Overall we had a super time, just can't say enough about customer service. Wonderful, best CS I think I have ever encountered while traveling. Looking forward to coming back next year.

We had an amazing time with the ocean literally in our backyard!!! Also it was a plus that we could bring our dog, he loved being at the beach. We had everything we needed to cook our meals so we chose to have only one meal out. Also there we plenty of beach towels, pillows, etc. Although this was a condo, the other renters were respectful and friendly, we didn’t have any issues with noise, etc. Those who bring their pets need to know that they are not allowed on the pier and only one beach (Buccaneer) in that area allows dogs. The beach next to the pier was really the only swimmable beach due to all the rocks that have washed onshore- but that is not the fault of Beachfront Only, that’s Mother Nature and we all know how unpredictable she can be! Overall this was a much needed restful getaway with the sounds and visions of the beautiful Pacific Ocean, complete with the memories of the Sun taking a golden bath in the evening We have rented from Beachfront only several times and will continue to do so because we are never disappointed. Thank you once again to Beachfront Only for an amazing vacation!!!

It's a very warm property in the summer months. The a/c isn't adequate for the space. The unit does come with a small personal fan but even that is not enough to cool the bedroom down. The location is beautiful and I did appreciate the view but probably won't be back until there's appropriate cooling.

Our yearly beach getaway

Been taking our kids here for the past 4 yrs and loving our stay. The unit has some updates which is thoughtful. The staff is attentive and I appreciated the welcome and followup text messages for any concerns. The prices are getting a little high for our budget but our summer won’t be complete if we don’t get to go to Oceanside so we’ll continue to keep booking. I’m missing the sound of the waves already.

Anniversary weekend. Had no heat when arrived. Was told too late today would need be Saturday. I sent a message asking about blankets and what to do about no heat received no response. Around 12 on Saturday I received another welcome and let us know if you need anything. I responded yes HEAT. About 30 minutes later they arrived. I think the property could of been cleaned up better. The separation between #1 and others had fallen down the sand was all washed away at the gate. Not enough parking. Was told we could park at office location but was a 30 walk. The view was the best part.

Beautiful spot, right on the water so the view of the surf was amazing. The unit was clean and well appointed. My ONLY complaint would be the broken glass on the fire pit. I notified Beachfront the morning after we checked in and no one ever came to address it. There was broken glass on the patio and a firepit we werent able to use. Other than that, it was a perfect trip.

This was our second time staying in this unit. The first time was exactly two years ago. We love the location. Right on the beach and close to anything we needed. The only issues we had were with the heater and the outdoor fire pit. It got cold enough one night that having the heater on would have been nice but apparently had not been turned on yet. The issue with the fire pit was the knob for controlling the flame. It is stuck in one position which I didn’t know when I first turned the gas on. So I was quite surprised when I hit the starter button and had a very large flame go up. Thankfully I was bent down when I did it. Other than those two minor things we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and we will definitely be back.

We had a great time on our 7th trip to 1615 S. Pacific in Oceanside. I would however like to comment that we were unable to use our bathroom or dish washer during our visit due to a drainage issue and had to always go up to Unit 3 to use the amenities. We checked in Sunday and it was finally resolved Friday, our last day. I would like to inquire if we could receive 2 free nights on our next visit next October in compensation for the disruption. Other than this inconvenience we loved Unit 1, it has become our favorite out of the 5 units. Thank you, Krista Mueller

Fantastic property!

Having rented 3 other units from Beachfront Only, this one is by far my favorite! The location right on the water is amazing, the unit Floorplan is open and spacious. You can sit on the couch and watch the tide come in. My 6 year old thought it was fun that the waves splashed up onto the sand yard. The unit has an ice maker, all the cups/plates/pots/utensils/cutting boards you would need. The bed was a little firm, but the pillows were appropriately comfortable. We walked the mile or so down to the Strand and enjoyed the lovely neighborhood all along the way. We will definitely be back!

I love the location and the view. Unit 1 is great for 3 people. It would have been perfect if there was an AC in the bedroom. The fan helped but it was still very hot in the room. Another thing that could be improved is the Parking situation. Much as we'd like to go out and visit other places at Oceanside, we didn't because were worried that we would lose our parking.

It was as advertised, but the outside of the building need some TLC (paint, stucco work, etc). Also, the maintenance person parked his white Ford 150 right in the middle parking spot which literally took the entire parking spaces. No one else was able to park on any of the 3 parking spaces until he was done with his work. I thought that was very unprofessional and lacked the customer service knowledge that could potentially dissuade me from renting the place in the future.

I don't get away very often and this beach location is absolutely gorgeous. Inside the place is beautiful and newly remolded. I took so many beautiful pictures. We saw dolphins and lots of surfers. We walked on the beach But the best thing is u are literally right on top of the ocean so you hear the awesome noise of the waves crashing. Wish we could have stayed 1 more day. FANTASTIC & AFFORDABLE OCEANFRONT RENTAL

I really enjoyed this cozy oceanfront rental during the weekday offseason. There was plenty of street parking. The location is far enough away from the noisy strand/pier, but still close enough to ride your bike or walk to. Can't get any closer the ocean! In that area, it's very important to have a private beach area because they have a lot of high tide days when you can't walk on the beach. This unit had it's own generous beach area, where the other units have to share a smaller area. The rental had everything I needed. It was clean. Beachfront Only communicated very well & even offer a texting feature for assistance during your stay. I would rent this affordable location again. My family stopped by one day and loved it as well.

Perfect for Us

This rental was casual and homey! It is the perfect ocean casita. The bed was comfy and the couch pull out was pretty comfortable but only had sheets. The windows had a screen missing and the other one was falling apart. The barbecue did not work, and was replaced late our first night after we made other arrangements to Grill our food. The tides were not in our favor. You could not access any beach(even at low tide) but my nephew enjoyed the sand on the property and the waves and the view were beautiful. There were a few issues that came up which could of/should have been addressed before we checked in. When alerted, Beachfront offered to send someone out but we were only there for 4 nights and did not want to take the time to wait.
Take that time.

Fun at Oceanside

We have so enjoyed our stays at the BeachFront property, we have returned to the same location for 6 years. The condos have been clean and well maintained. The thoughtful touches were noticeable. The ability to cook (haha as if, it’s vacation!) and stock the refrigerator was great. We also thought it had everything we needed; location, YouTube tv & WiFi.
It is right on the beach. There is a shared beachy/sand yard and also a private one. Though small it is, the real beach lies just beyond it. The amount of beach depends on the tides but the crashing wave are nice to experience at night. The only thing I can think of that was needed was ceiling fans and a upgrade on the bed mattress.

My rental home for the weekend was a staycation for married locals. Even living here and just being able to sleep literally on the beach was amazing. The house was clean and located in a great spot. The only thing I would advise is pay attention to high and low tides. It’s very rocky.

Weekend Staycation

We stayed in unit #1 which is located at the lower level of the property. We were happy to have plenty of room to spread out and let our 4 yr old play in the sand. We are Oceanside locals and understood the location of the rental and the amount of beach available during high tide. If your looking to stay at a house that has beach access 24/7, you'll have better luck staying a little more north towards the pier or heading south. We utilized the tide schedule and took advantage of low tide when it hit. This rental is clean and equipped with all your cooking needs. We used the BBQ two nights and were very satisfied. We would stay here again;)

Spring break vacation

Great place unit 1. The only thing I would add is a mop and vacuum. There was a broom but for as much sand that comes in I wanted to clean the floor constantly and the broom wasn’t good enough. Also the washer machine was hard accessing the soap. It needs to be put further back. Other than that our stay was amazing

Exceeded Our Expectations!

What an adorable place. So close to the ocean yet so far away from all of the crowds. There isn't much of a beach to walk on but that was OK for us because it meant privacy. We brought our dog and he loved having his own private beach patio. The inside was so cute and comfortable. Loved having a kitchen with all of the things we needed so we didn't have to eat out every night. Also, the windows...wow, when closed you could hardly hear anything outside. We will definitely be coming back.

Nice area, not clean

The location was perfect however the pull out couch was filthy, the dishes were not clean and there was hair on the bathroom wall. Contacted the rental property who did not contact us back until the following morning. They did at that time to make things right but our stay was only for 2 nights.

An amazing Ocean front vacation

I would have given the properties location a higher review but five stars is all it lets me give. This place was amazing. Not only were we right on the beach but the unit we rented #1, also had it’s own little private beach area to sit and enjoy your morning coffee listening to the waves crash or your evening beverage watching the sunset. Location was great!

Great little getaway for my boyfriend and I. Wonderful location, saw dolphins which made my trip. House was small and quaint, had a great clean smell when we walked in. The mice traps were unexpected but was a great warning to the little guy running through the living room. But overall good experience.

It was my daughter‘s 18th birthday and we couldn’t of picked a better way to celebrate them to be on the beach in a beautiful home. We made some of the best memories that we get to take with us forever. Great stay, cold water.

Great stay! We plan to come to this exact location in the future. Our only complaint was the lack of warm water. The shower ran out of warm water within 2-3 minutes each day. Cold showers are not fun after being in cold ocean water!

Can't get much closer!

We had an excellent time and would use the same unit again. The only mistake was I didn't ask if it was handicap accessible. My husband is handicapped so we had a terrible time unloading out stuff and then loading it back. Not their fault! I should have asked.

Loved it! Perfect family getaway

We loved staying here. It was perfect for my little family as we have a toddler mixed in with teenagers. We didn’t need to worry about packing up the bigger kids from the beach for nap time for the baby. It was easy to reserve, and check in as well as check out and we will be rebooking the same place again soon. The time of our life!!

Mini getaway

We love Oceanside and weather was perfect for our mini getaway!
Our little one bedroom condo was comfortable and was great because we could bring our 2 little dogs! The building is a bit old and tired but still met our needs!

WE had a marvelous stay in the small but perfectly sized condo, literally on the beach! The only complaint would be how stiff/hard the bed was. I normally like things more on the hard side, but that bed felt like sleeping on the ground! You may want to add a mattress pad or something, otherwise everything was great!

Sweet spot on the beach

This gem has front window views of the ocean. We saw an orca whale breaching one day! The kitchen has all that you need and plenty of space in the seating area. The bed was on the firm side, better for my husband than myself. But slept well hearing the waves ebb and flow.

Unbelievable Memory

We were ON the beach. We had our own private sitting, socializing,relaxing beachfront area with a propane heat fireplace to take away the cold chilly nights. It was amazing to sit and watch time slowly pass as each sun sat in the ocean. Great Beachfront Experience

We originally booked P5161 #4 for a week, but the unit ended up with some heat and electric issues. They were prompt to address the problems and when the issues could not be resolved, the managers moved us to another unit (P5161 #1) that was larger and had a much better ocean view. We thought #4 was cute, but truly loved #1! Both were nicely decorated and the kitchens had just about everything you could possibly want. I will say we actually found the bed in #4 to be more comfortable than the bed in #1. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice beach rental

When we arrived we were disappointed that the house next door was under construction and that we weren't told when we booked but there was very little noise so that was good then we went inside and the floor was dirty so I cleaned it. The toilet kept flushing or running the whole time so I had to keep taking the lid off and adjusting the float valve. The bed wasn't that comfortable but we really liked the front unit because it had it's own private sand patio right out front of our windows it also had an AC unit that we used at night because we had to close our windows at night because we are 2 single women and there was a young man sleeping outside a few doors down and though the corner outside light worked the 2 in the front didn't. It was nice to walk down to the park to get breakfast. The parking spaces don't really fit a full size truck but it was nice that I was allowed to park across the street. The fan lights need better light bulbs. We would definitely stay here again for its location because no one bothers you.

Perfect Beach Front!

My mom has been battling cancer and wanted to stay by the beach while her sister came to visit from out of the country. This was the perfect place for the 4 of us, especially because my mom's mobility is limited. The property is literally steps from the beach, and such location allowed my mother to take few steps on the beach with her sister. The property was also very cozy. The only glitch was some work being done on the property very early, but it was only for couple hours. There was construction going on next door, but it didn't interrupt our stay in any way. This property was even better than we had imagined, and I am very grateful that Beachfront Only was able to accommodate us for this last minute trip. We are hoping that my mom will recover soon so that we can come back and build more memories here together! 🙂

VACATIONING WITH THE GIRLS

Me and my two girlfriends had an AWESOME time at our Beachfront rental. We played in the water for hours everyday, which was just steps away from the ocean. We sat on the rocks by the water and talked and laughed until dark and made smores by the fire pit. From inside we had a beautiful view of the ocean and they supplied us with everything we needed to to cook breakfast and dinner. (Except the food) The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was big. We had a problem getting the tv to work but someone was there to help us within an hour. Turned out to be operator error. The whole place was nice and I can't wait to go back

Oceanfront cottage wwekend getaway

We spent the weekend in Oceanside in a 1br 1ba cottage on the sand. The view was spectacular! The ammenities within the cottage were very nice and clean. Access was easy and we had a parking spot on the property. The hideaway couch was not very comfortable and limited the living room area seating. The outside patio, bbq, and lounges were shared with the 4 other units on the property, which was somewhat of a drawback, particularly if all the units are occupied. It could get very crowded. The location to this beautiful beach is second to none. It definitely will bring us back again.

Beautiful Location

The location is stunning and worth every penny! When we got there the place smelled slightly like wet dog, but it looked clean. The private patio was a big selling point, but every time I sat out there I could smell doggy droppings (mixed in the sand, to be sure). Loved the water pressure in the shower, a must for removing sand. I brought a hammock to sleep in because I saw reviews about how awful the bed was for sleeping. My husband said the bed is a deal breaker. He would not select that unit again unless you updated the bed. Overall I had a relaxing, pleasant stay and would use beachfrontonly only! You just can't beat the location and ease of booking. I Would stay longer next time! It was prettier than the pictures.

When we arrived we were thrilled with our decision to rent a condo on the beach. The area was quiet, enchanting and relaxing. We truly were relaxed which was much needed. We did however have some suggestions. Although the kitchen was complete with everything we needed for food preparation, we did feel there could be some improvements. Toiletries such as toilet paper and additional towels would have made our stay better. Also when we first arrived we could feel sand present on the tile floor. But understand we were on the beach. However our initial encounter with the tile floor should have been more assuring. Also we were three days into our vacation and noticed roaches (live)yuck! This will impact our next choice in rental for our next vacation to the beach.

Lovely Place

Amazing location, private beachfront patio. As far as the location goes, we couldn't ask for more. We called the management company twice. One time for parking spot clarification and the second for Wi-Fi issue. They were very quick with the response and with solving the issue. Maybe a little more could be done by the cleaning crew. Some areas around the kitchen cabinets weren't cleaned up thoroughly, but nothing major. The condo is well equipped too. Very happy with our stay!

Loved the unit; it was perfect for myself and 3 children. We played in the waves and the sand, visited Legoland (less than 29 minutes away) and roasted marshmallows on the beach for s'mores. The only thing really missing was filters for the coffeemaker. I'll remember to bring my own next time!

Overall is OK, but could be better

Overall, this place is OK. If you stay here you truly just are steps from the beach. This location also actually has beach front space (unlike other places in Oceanside which have not beach space). The entire kitchen is brand new, good pro. They also recently installed one small AC unit with is a big pro for hot days and evening. Nice patio furniture and grill and fully stocked kitchen. Also, very nice large flat screen TV and cable TV. However, the cons. The bed is the pits, its like sleeping directly on box spring mattress. The bathroom needs major updating and the hot water lasts all of 5 minutes (for 2-4 people). The couch/futon in the living room is not comfortable at all and it looks dirty (yuk). We also had an ant problem in the kitchen and several large insects in the bathroom (cockroach type bug and a large hairy centipede). In addition, I wish they would REALLY install a ceiling fan in the bedroom.

Beachfront getaway in Oceanside

The place was as advertised. It was located a few yards from the water at high tide. The beach was Sandy and nice, the water was was wonderful. We used TripAdvisor to find nearby restaurants, there were many tasty options. The local folk were friendly and delightful, the walk to the pier was wonderful. We took trips up the coast, down the coast, and east to wine country. Oceanside is located near everything we wanted to visit on this trip, we had planned to hang around San Diego more, but never got around to it. The place was clean, the bed was firmer than I am used to, but sleep wasn't a problem. I would recommend this to a friend.... (The Beach break restaurant for breakfast is a must do!)

Beachfront at Oceanside

Satisfied overall. Particularly enjoyed beach access and the view! Door to bathroom had no pull knob. The dishwasher didn't go the full cycle. perhaps you need to add instructions. The flood lights didn't work outside--new bulbs or electrical repair? There were 2 extension cords used in the bedroom, and the bed sits on one of them. I think that is a fire code violation. Guest laundry was pitiful. I did ours by hand and hung them in the bathroom.

We enjoyed our stay very much and were very impressed with our cozy house on the beach. Everything was clean and ready for us. The location is right on the beach and opens up to the sand which is exactly what we wanted. The only thing that could have made our stay better was that the
cieling fan in the living room only worked with the light on, which was a pain at night.

We Love the View!

Our visit was outstanding! We found that the place had everything we needed except for groceries. We love sitting on the couch and watching out the front windows the surf breaking on the beach. We had a nice campfire one evening and roasted marshmallows while listening to the surf. The only thing that detracted from our stay was we found the bed to be VERY uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on the bare springs. We solved the problem by dragging the futon couch pad into the bedroom and sleeping on to of that. Even with the discomfort I am sure that we will be back!

The condo was very clean, kitchen was ready for anything we wanted to cook (a good home away from home), and the beach is your front view! And the ocean is about 20 yards from the condo.

AWESOME SPOT!!!

This place is great! Great unit right on the water.. Right on the water! Nice patio with chairs. located on the southern end of the beach with no public beach access near by. This makes it nice and private. Great unit big and clean. Great layout and set up.

Beach Bliss

Location Location Location! My family and I recently stayed in Unit 1 for the first time. We couldn't get over how close we were to the water and loved our own little semi-private beach. The place was clean and cozy and had a great shower too! It was recently given a makeover, which was nice. It was especially nice for my Mom to not have to walk a far distance in the hot sand to dip her feet in the cool water. Just a few steps out of our little gate and she were there! It was a perfect set up. The location is also close to the Oceanside Harbor where we love to eat and shop! The management staff, especially Brianna, Deanna and Kevin were so helpful and friendly! We were crushed to have to leave our little beach getaway, but plan to rebook and stay even longer next summer!

Great beach access. A little too expensive. A welcome package like fruits would be a nice touch or even some bottles of water in the fridge.
