We loved our stay. Great home for extended family gathering. Used 7 of 8 bedrooms with king or queen beds. Loved the main kitchen/dining/family room and patio for family gathering. The bluff and ocean view were enjoyed by all. We had one casualty - we broke one long stem wine glass. Sorry. If you let me know how to pay for it, I would be glad to do so.

Great house! Only issue is the A/C timing out after 4 hours - so some one had to get up and turn it on at 4:00 am. Lights on timers great- A/C on timer not so great- we had my 82 year old MIL with us and A/C is very important for her.

Lovely space. My entire family loved it. Enough room for everyone to stay in the same place but have space for themselves at the same time. Lovely view. Neighbors are close but very friendly and not at all an issue. Hot tub didn’t turn on but the water felt great anyway. Would definitely stay again.

The spa didn't work and based on reviews I saw I feel they knew it didn't work and didn't bother to tell us. Also, when we booked the house it had 2 sets of bunk beds listed. When we arrived those beds were not there. We were lucky we had 3 women not show up but even though there were still enough beds we paid specifically for the beds that were there when we booked. We were disappointed with these things. Otherwise, the stay was great. I do recommend a larger trash can in the kitchen, that was frustrating and larger pans to cook on the stove with. Its a huge house so seems like people would be cooking in large quantities but maybe that was just us.

Very nice place. We had some oddity ties like hot water coming out of the cold taps, and a shower control that really didn’t work at all. The property management company was very attentive, but couldn’t fix everything. We managed okay and would certainly return.

The house is nice and in a great location. Great view of the ocean and beach and spending time in the hot tub on the back deck was a blast. For reference the neighbors are really close. We didn't have a party, but even being outside talking after 9 was too loud as the noise carry's even when quiet. If you are planning a party be mindful of noise as the house calls for quiet time at 9. I could see this being tough even for a family let alone a larger group. Outside of that the house was nice, easy to get into, short walk to the beach, clean, and an amazing view.

As we encourage all of guests to be good neighbors, we do manage properties in Oceanside that are located near other vacation rentals which provides a little more flexibility for our guests to enjoy the outdoor amenities after 9 pm. Perfect Getaway!

We had the absolute best time on our stay. The house was the best thing ever - even better than the pictures. We decided to cancel all our day plans one day just to soak in the view. Get up early and you may even see dolphins! The house had everything we needed. A grill, coffee pots, spices, cups, pots & pans. House and spa were clean and management company were very responsive and helpful. Amazing location! We had it made. Would go back if the opportunity presented itself! Thank you!

Gorgeous Location

We rented this beautiful home to celebrate my 60th birthday. We absolutely loved the location and view! The home was perfect in that there was plenty of space for me and my four sisters and our spouses as well as my children and grandchildren. Almost everyone had their own bathroom as well. My biggest disappointment is that the jacuzzi didn’t work. The property manager sent someone to look at it but they weren’t able to fix it while we were there. The dishwasher also didn’t work but they were able to fix that on the second day. Lastly, three of the fans in the bedrooms didn’t work. Beachfront was very responsive and delivered three new fans the first night.

Bitter Sweet

The spa was not working on the first night. This was the main reason we picked this house. I would expect them to check everything is working before a guest arrives. Possibly have it on so it is hot and ready to go, as I have experienced at other locations. This of course was not the case. The next day around 9 AM I called to check to see when the tech would be arriving. They were unable to provide a time. The maintenance rep was there fixing out items in the house. We did not mind the maintenance rep there during our stay, fixing items for the next guest, even though he was also unable to provide a time or status the SPA tech would arrive. While my family went down to the beach, I had to stay waiting for the tech. I had to call the management company. They never called me for with a time or status. I called , what felt like every hour to see if they could give me a time or status. I got nothing but "we will check". I expressed how unhappy we are. The tech finally showed late late afternoon to get it working. When we finally went to use it, the water was hot but the jets of course would not work. I called again. Never did they offer a late check out or offer anything at all. We wanted a relaxing weekend, family getaway to celebrate a 50th birthday. Something much needed with everything going on with COVID, Pandemic, working and school. We did not get to enjoy the SPA, again the MAIN reason we picked the house. The main relaxation we wanted. The house was bitter for the items that needed fixing and the SPA. The house was sweet for it had every showed in the pictures. If everything was in top shape it would have been everything expected. The Management Co could be considerate to their guest and at least offer a late check out when the call multiple times. I shouldn't have to ask, the company should be at the lever to be able to recognize their guest would be unhappy and offer anything they can, for items that are in their control.

Management team members complete thorough inspections of our homes before arrival, which includes verifying the spa is hot, clean / sanitized, and in working condition. Unfortunately this spa failed during your stay, and the labor for the repairs had to be outsourced, which created challenges confirming the specific appointment time. Great house to relax and enjoy the view

We rented this oceanfront home for two weeks to unwind with family and enjoy the ocean views. The house was true to its description... the views were amazing and there was more than enough room for our family to gather and spread out. The indoor/outdoor feature with pool table/ping pong was a big hit. We didn't need our car, as we could walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and the best farmer's market we've been to. Keep in mind, this is a neighborhood with full-time residents. The neighbors are very close and value their peace and quiet... NOT an appropriate setting for loud parties.

Phenomenal getaway!

We had the most amazing time on our recent stay. The location of this property is incredible, right on the cliffs overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Beach Happy Family!!!

Awesome. Fabtabulous. Incredible. I had wondered about all the 5 star reviews - if really that great. Absolutely that great! They were all true plus more. 12 of the family there ages 2 months to 85. Plenty of room. Everything we needed. We wanted for nothing. Gorgeous views. The ping pong/poll table got used a lot. Entire family loved just hanging on outside deck and playing games. We never left except to go to the beach - didn't need to. Meals delivered in so "no masks" required. A few minor issues - maintenance handled right away. We would absolutely, highly recommend. Only bad thing - we forgot binoculars. TONS of dolphins swimming by put on quite a show - just would have been better with binoculars! We will be back for sure. Thanks to everyone who helped make this family reunion a get together to remember forever. And thanks for recommendation on Key Concierge - they were great to work with as well.

Perfect weekend in Encinitas

Our group of 14 was very pleased with the home. Towels and linens were stocked, the kitchen had lots of plates and utensils, and the view from the patio was terrific. Lots of umbrellas provided shade and the combo pool/ping pong table provided lots of fun. The one problem we had with the Jacuzzi was promptly addressed. The garage and driveway can accommodate three SUV vehicles but four would be very tight. Location is close enough to walk to beach and Encinitas. Fun time for all of us.

Fantastic home!

Seventeen members of our family stayed in this home for Spring Break 2019. We had a fantastic time. This home did not disappoint. The location was exactly what we were looking for—close to San Diego but not in the thick of the city. We visited Legoland and the San Diego Zoo. The rest of the time we biked, took in other sites, or just rested. Ahhh! The views are to die for. We saw a whale, dolphins, and were able to watch surfers do their thing along with being able to watch the grandkids enjoy the surf from the deck. The beach was great—we watched the tide tables and took advantage of the low tides. The living space is great—so many roomy bedrooms. The kitchen is well-stocked which was important as we did quite a bit of cooking. Really loved this home and the neighborhood. (My daughter-who is an interior designer-had helped design a home down the street when she lived in SD 15 years ago!) We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place with good management

This was perfect for 16 people. We had 8 adults and 8 children ages 1-17. Everyone enjoyed our Christmas together. We cooked all meals, kitchen was great to for cooking 3 ovens 2 refrigerators. Walking to beach, shops, coffee and ice cream. We were thrilled with 2 washers and dryers. The house was ez for littles to sleep very quit. Pool/ping pong table well used. Girls Weekend Getaway

The house is situated beachfront and within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. Beach access is close to the property. We enjoyed our time at the house but there were definitely some issues that prevented us from enjoying full. The AC system is on a 4 hour timer, although the property is beachfront there is only a breeze to the front bedrooms (two). AC is needed on a warm day and night, there were many complaints regarding how hot it was at night. One of the master bedrooms, the window level was broken so they were unable to open windows. The refrigerator never got cold. There was a warning not to add room temperature drinks? We had to resort to buying and replenishing ice throughout the weekend to endure our drinks and food remained cold in the refrigerator.

Family trip

We had a great family trip at the house - 14 guests ranged in age from 11 to 80. The location of the house in Encinitas was perfect and the oceanfront view from the patio and balcony was phenomenal. We had several minor maintenance issues which we notified the property manager about to correct after our departure. We had been concerned about parking and noise restrictions - due to previous commenters and messages from the management company - but we had no problems with either.

Mixed reviews for great place, great location, sub-par experience

Great place, great location. Accomodates 18 well, all will be comfortable. Great for children through to elders. Highlights: view, proximity to stairs (steep, but good exercise) to beach, private-ish beach and ocean swimming is wonderful. Feels private and yet close enough (a walk away) to cute and trendy downtown (good restaurants, all the shops you need). The home is beachy and airy and lovely. Good for a retreat of people who know each other well, or not (rooms on second floor feel like a hotel; marked by names). Great to have wash machines (2!) and fridge space. Wish the dishwasher was bigger. Things that were broken or missing upon arrival: hot tub, ping pong table net, dishwasher rack, air conditioning instruction. Management responded, but one had to fight for a fix. Little reassurance that they would hop on it or be apologetic lest the customer was insistent and persistent, a bummer. Air-con weak, so don't go on a hot week, b/c the beach breeze can't compete and air-con "isn't made to really cool the house down." We had some miserable family members purchasing extra fans and nursing migraines because of it. Overall, good. Would've expected, for the prices, less crumbs in corners, less hassles (the hot tub not working, and they knew it, and weren't proactive, come on!), a little more excellence. I suppose you're paying for the view and the space. I think the company should own that or charge slightly more and deliver on excellence.

Great for large family reunion

Fourteen of stayed here for a week. Everyone loved watching, walking and swimming/ surfing in the ocean. The house is casually furnished, appropriate for a beach house. We had no problems at all. Loved walking to great Italian restaurant, Vigilucci’s. Would have like more towels to avoid washing, it machines in garage were very handy.

Family Reunion Was Wonderful

Our four adult children, their spouses and our seven grandchildren joined us for a reunion that we hadn't had for over ten years. It was a great place for all 17 of us. Everyone had the perfect sleeping arrangement and the common areas accommodated our meals, our games, our conversations and relaxation. Everything we needed for cooking was there. The deck overlooking the ocean gave us great views of the surfers, the dolpins and the sunsets. The location was convenient to shopping and the Stone Steps gave us easy access to the beach, although coming back up was a challenge. When we ran out of propane for the BBQ, a representative was there quickly with refilled tanks. Having the washer and dryer was great to wash the beach towels each day. Overall, it was a great time in a super setting.

Why Can't I Live at the Beach Full Time????

It was spectacular in so many ways. The house was beautiful, the beach access was perfect, the views were astonishing. It was quiet, peaceful, utterly relaxing. Large comfy rooms. Small requests for next time -- SHARP kitchen knives, basic provisions (extra salt, pepper, foil, plastic wrap, more paper towels and napkins, coffee grinder) cupboard door pulls well secured, dishwasher needed a part replaced.

Great family vacation!

The house and location were a perfect fit our family of 8 adults and 2 children. Kids loved the hot tub. Close to Animal Safari Park and LegoLand. Note of caution: beach access is 1/2 block away BUT it is up and down A LOT of steps!

Fabulous Beach House for Large Family

My large extended family with five adult couples and 7 children stayed for a week in Encinitas. The Eight bedrooms including a mother-in-law suite on the first floor were more than ample to give everyone a comfortable place to sleep. The views are extraordinary from the huge patio and the hot tub was great to warm up in after boogie boarding and surfing.

This is a perfect place for a family reunion or gathering!

My only negative is that there are no beach chairs provided with this rental. Providing some chairs to use when having a beach day would have improved the experience greatly.

Wonderful Beach Weekend

We had an amazing weekend with friends and family here! The location, view and property were all amazing. Kitchen was well appointed and it was helpful to have spices and all the serving and cooking equipment for a large group. The hot tub was not working, but the management company was responsive and had it fixed. Just a few things to note/highlight; it would have been nice for there to be shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms. I agree the rental is family friendly, but for those traveling with small children, you will need to bring your own baby equipment and toys/sand toys etc.
Finally, there's a pool/ping pong table in the main living space. I think all the adults wished it was not there and that there was more seating!
All that said, we would love to come back, the location and the ocean views just cannot be beat.

We don't provide maid service so unfortunately we can't provide items that cannot be restocked on a daily basis, like shampoo, but we do provide some basics items to get you started such a toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. We do not provide beach accessories as people tend to either take them when they leave or leave them on the beach, but we do have an amazing concierge service that can provide all beach items for you. Golden Anniversary Family Reunion

Fabulous Place!!

We stayed here for three nights for a family reunion. The view, the patio, and the whole place exceeded our expectations! The house was very clean and had all the amenities for our stay. There were 14 of us including two toddlers and there was plenty of space for everyone. The beach access (including a life guard station) was just a few houses down the street. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

See, smell, hear and feel the waves!

Home is situated on the bluff. So close that you feel as if your on the water. Greta views from the master bedroom,, The great room glass doors fold leading to a large deck. Perfect for entertaining. We had our 6 kids, 2 with spouses, for 10 days. A perfect family gathering. Brought our SUP's and rented surfboards for all day beach fun. Encinitas restaurants close by. The Better Buzz for coffee a must.

Family fun with a great view

Yaya girlfriends

We had a lovely time together. 13 girlfriends from college. We were celebrating everyone's 60th birthday year. The weather could have been better, we still took advantage of the patio and hot tub. We had a few problems which the management team took care of quickly. I wonder why there was not enough lighting in the living room, there was not enough chairs for everyone to sit at the table. the table mats(not enough) were worn and looked well used. The dishwasher needed a quick dry rinse because we felt the dishes weren't clean as well as they should have been.there were 2 toasters yet one of them had a coil not working. The location was amazing and we loved every minute of our stay

WOW!!!

A group of women in our 50s stayed for 4 days. There is AMPLE room in the common spaces for all. The bedrooms and baths are all generously sized. Off street parking for 4. The deck is amazing and unlike other rentals I have done, the hot tub is clean and gets hot (if you want it.) We all really loved it and I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Ely Family reunion

We had a wonderful stay at our rental in Encinitas. The location was perfect having multigenerational folks. Walking distance to the beach, able to do a pick up volleyball game, walking distance to a great taco place all made it a really nice experience.
The house worked well with bedrooms and bathrooms spread out. The open downstairs that lead onto a large outside area worked really well for our group.

The Perfect Weekend Getaway

Fourteen ladies gathered for the weekend at this amazing place to celebrate 25 years for our book club. Although most of us came from the San Diego area, we immediately felt like we were far away from it all and in our own private resort. There was many beds and bedrooms to choose from and numerous bathrooms to make our stay enjoyable. The deck overlooking the ocean was the most used spot at the house and we ate every meal either watching the sunrise or sunset. With a short walk to the beach we enjoyed the warm weather and warm water. Local shops and restaurants are a short distance away. The beds were comfortable and every kitchen item was there for our use. Having 2 refrigerators was key to keeping our wine and beer cold and all the goodies we brought. We all left renewed and refreshed. This was the perfect getaway for a girls weekend or family reunion. The place is so big that you can have alone and quiet time or enjoy time with a big group.

The whole experience was wonderful, you were very easy to work with and the app was very convenient, we all had a wonderful time. The one thing we wanted to mention was that the floors were not very clean when we arrived, we removed our shoes and within 30 mins of walking around our feet were brown and dirty. Great vacation getaway

The space accommodated our large group: 14 comfortably. Spectacular views, we very much enjoyed. Convenient to shopping. Well-appointed kitchen for meal prep / eating in. Negative: We were not informed that the house did not have A/C. The daytime temp was 85 & humid --so a sweaty experience. It was somewhat uncomfortable, but not unbearable. If we had known & had a choice between A/C & no A/C --we would have chosen a place with A/C.

Best California experience

Wonderful ocean views from a spacious house. All 14 of us, from age one to 90, loved our time together. Having breakfast on the patio while watching dolphins swim up the coast was one of the special things we enjoyed. The location was perfect as was the beach at the bottom of the cliffs. We appreciated the property more on our final day than on our first day - a sign that we were extremely happy with our stay. It wasn't terribly luxurious - but very accommodating.

Perfect place while we had to be out of our house

Getting our floors done, so needed to be out of the house for a few days - So glad we decided to rent a Beach Front Rental - Enjoyed the two days of beautiful sunshine and perfect to curl up by one of the fireplaces when the weather turned ugly. Rental was clean, fully furnished with plenty of parking and incredible ocean views from both the upstairs bedroom and the downstairs dining/family room. Cooked a couple meals in the well appointed kitchen and walked to nearby coffee hang-out's and fun dinner at Soltera. Highly recommend BFO for vacation or just as a home away from home if you need to be out of the house but still go to work, etc.

Ya ya girls reunion

Excellent location for family get-together!

House was beautiful, well stocked, had great ocean views with large patio area, had pool table/table tennis. We had 17 in party and never felt like we were on top of each other. Bedrooms were upstairs, roomy, with many baths that was a plus. We could walk easily to beach eateries, and shopping. Downtown was a short drive (or moderate walk). We were concerned with parking but it was no problem. Only real "problem" we had was that carving knives were very dull (we had a turkey ??). We would definitely rent again!

YOU CAN SEE FOREVER

Great location and truly enjoyed ourselves, however, to accommodate 17-20 people, there needs to be a bigger/better BBQ, an extra refrigerator in the garage would be a huge plus, a larger stovetop (could barley have 4 pans on at the same time) and there needs to be some sort of covering (that can be adjusted) to the skylights because NOBODY enjoyed waking up at 5:30 -6:00 am with the light coming in. I appreciate the energy efficiency but that is just too early while on vacation. Skylights were not disclosed in the description, especially in the two larger rooms. The brace on the kitchen slide door was totally unnecessary and made the kitchen extremely warm. We replaced it before we left. The kitchen split levels down the family room, but there is no railing between the two - could be a little dangerous if you have little ones. But again, we had a wonderful time!

Location can't be beat. House is sitting on the bluff overlooking Stonestep beach and access is only 1/2 block away. They call this an 8 bedroom home which is technically correct. However, access to one of those bedrooms is denied via a locked door. That borders on false advertising. The kitchen needs a better selection of cookware and more dish towels and rags. There are plenty of dishes and silverware, though. Also, because the house uses a sump pump, no garbage disposal. New ping pong paddles would be nice, too. There is parking for 5 small vehicles and Encinitas does not allow street parking with rentals. The folks at Beachfront are very friendly and accommodating. After all is said and done, expensive rental but it's all about the location and this one is the best.

After pating extra for an early check-in the entry code we received did not work. We called the office and tried both doors with a rep on the line and still no entry. The rep then had to call me back. At least 15 minutes went by before we finally got a code that worked. Golf Trip

Location was excellent for the golf courses we were playing, we were able to play golf and return to the home and enjoy the views of the ocean and take advantage of the kitchen. With the pool table we could keep ourselves entertained in the evenings without needing to go out for entertainment. I would highly recommend the property for future clients.

BFO Saves the Weekend

We were booked to spend the MLK weekend in Big Bear but our cabin suffered a plumbing disaster and our reservation was cancelled on Friday afternoon. Nancy helped me to save the weekend for me and my friends by fast tracking us into this awesome house. Gorgeous location, convenient, and very comfortable. A Fun New Year's reunion with friends

We rented the house for 4 nights for a New Year's reunion with friends. The house was beautiful, had a great view and a great location. We had some kids in the group, and the house worked well for them, although there was one ledge from the dining room to the living area we had to watch out for. We had larger group, 17 including kids, but there was plenty of room for everyone.
We had a little trouble with the hot tub, but maintenance was there right away to work on it.
There is a 9pm limit for noise on the patio, which could be a bummer in better weather, but in January it was too cold old to be an issue for us.
Overall we had a great time in this lovely house!

Thank you for your review! The 9pm noise limit is not only our good neighbor policy, but also a City ordinance, and simply restricts excessive noise. Our rentals are all in residential areas, and we try our hardest to be respectful of all of our neighbors. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to have you stay with us again soon!

Very spacious, fantastic location. Just half block to Stair Step beach. Pool and ping-pong table. Wonderful spa/hot tub on the main patio. Granite throughout. Beachfront staff was very helpful and accommodating. Had a small problem with the spa and they had it repaired quickly. There were only two drawbacks: the dishwasher's bottom tray would not stay on it's track and there is no garbage disposal. However, since those are relatively minor complaints, I would highly recommend this property.

Great gathering for large family, some issues

We greatly enjoyed our week in this home with a few exceptions--the kitchen really is not stocked for gourmet food service to a large crowd. We had to add many items to serve Thanksgiving dinner and especially did not appreciate the lack of a garbage disposal! Overall a good experience, though.

Outstanding!

We rented this house for our 10 year anniversary. It's only a couple houses down from the stone steps and within walking distance of Moonlight beach. I hate dishes but the view while doing them in this house can change anyone's mind. OR there are some great restaurants near by. Grocery stores are less than 10 minutes away. This place is breathtaking!

Some Improvements needed

In the master bedroom the sun screens were not private (any of the neighboring properties can see into the bedroom at night). I really disliked the craziness of the electrical switches. Some work, some don't. There was only one TV guide available for the 2 TV's. You always have to remember to bring the ONE guide either upstairs or downstairs. The size of the print for the guide was SO SMALL, that a magnifying glass was necessary... that I had to go buy along with a fireplace starter. Can't you provide the fireplace lighter and a larger print TV guide for each TV? The Duvae covers were old and faded.

We have tried to go through and label all of the switches to what they go to, and ones that are not working. Regarding the TV guide, the listings are always directly on the television. We also provide a lighter which is in the kitchen with the barbecue utensils. ~The Team at Beachfront Only

Great Option for a Family Reunion

There are not that many good options when you are looking at getting 5 families together for a family reunion. We were very lucky to find this beach house and could not have been happier with the condition and location of the house. It was very relaxing being merely 1 block from Stone Steps (beach access, about 100 stairs). It gave us total flexibility for some of us to hang out while others went on day trips. The town is great and has a Whole Foods Market. Take a 10 minute drive and you have Trader Joes and Ralphs.

Beachfront Properties was a pleasure to work with. They set clear expectations of the process and we had everything we needed in a timely manner. They called the day before our trip to make sure we were set.

I would highly recommend this property and Beachfront Properties.

SPECTACULAR SPACIOUS STAY IN ENCINITAS

Another great get away with Beachfront Only! This home was amazing, 7 bedrooms all upstairs, lovely living/family room with fireplace made the time with my family so very special. Sitting at the dining table enjoying dinner and looking out at that gorgeous ocean was amazing. I would recommend this home to large families who want to all be together. Delightful Stay in San Diego

We had 14 adults, 3 toddlers and 2 infants. The house was a perfect place for all of us to enjoy interacting together and to enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Ocean and the neighborhood. There was plenty of room and the house was very clean and comfortably furnished. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen which had space for multiple cooks at a time! We were blessed with great weather as well as several sitings of dolphins and whales ... the deck and hot tub were well used. The house was within walking distance of coffee shops, book store, etc. It was a great reunion of old friends/family, 4 years in the making and this was a perfect spot.

Wonderful week at the beach

We had 9 adults and 8 children at the rental. The house has plenty of room for all and we had a great time. Loved the spa overlooking the beach. Our only recommendation is to put some hangings or pictures on the wall to absorb sound. With young children the sound level can get rather high. We also had to move to another house after a week. The staff was rather accommodating in facilitating the move.

Fantastic!

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at the beach house with friends from all across the USA. There were 14 of us (7 couples) and we had the best time. The 7 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths were perfect, towels and beach towels were provided for everyone, plus extra towels in each bathroom. Also, the kitchen dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils are great for a group that cooks (which we did). The sit down bar was perfect for our non-chefs and there was plenty of room in the kitchen for three or four of us chopping and cooking and the "stand up bar" was great for those who wanted to watch or chat or come in and out of the conversation(s). If you have a group as large as ours I'd recommend getting or bringing a couple of coolers for drinks - as there's only one frig and it fills up fast for 14 people for a weeks worth of meals.
The living room was comfortable and we had a fire in the fireplace most days & nights. The deck and jacuzzi were perfect for whale and dolphin watching (we saw plenty of both)! And, having two washers and dryers was great to keep up with wet towels and swimsuits.
All in all - a fantastic house! We'll definitely make plans to return.

Beautiful Beach Front Home w/incredible views

We had 15 adults and 3 children in this beautiful home for a week. The house is very spacious for a large group and very kid friendly. I grew up in the area and was already familiar with the surroundings (beach, restaurants, etc). I would highly recommend this house for anyone wanting a memorable vacation of a lifetime.

Best vacation rental ever

This is the second year my family and I have stayed in this home. It is magnificent! The views are incredible, and the home is beautiful. Everything that you need is right there. One of my favorite parts was being able to light up the fireplace at night since it was a bit chilly when we were here. There are even 2 sets of washers and dryers, so I had no laundry when returning home from vacation, which is always nice. Beachfront only rentals are the best, and I can't wait for my next stay!

WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME!!

This was a great location for our family get away. We had 10 adults and 5 kids (ages 6 mo. to 3 1/2 yrs) and the place was big enough to accommodate all of us and all the stuff that we need for youngsters. The patio and beach were perfect for little ones (the stairs to the beach were a little challenging) as well as the grown ups!! We took great walks through the neighborhood, enjoyed local eats and shopping!! Boogie boarding, surfing and sand castle building were all fun activities!! AND...we had arranged for a photographer, in advance, who met us there and took our family photos down on the beach!! It was great! We also brought a small blow-up pool for the kids that we used on the patio!! Kitchen was well stocked (knives could be sharper) and we ate in most evenings!! The kids are already asking if we can go back!! 🙂

Eight Adults and Three Children from Northern California

The home was very comfortable and a big plus having two washing machines and two dryers for the eleven of us. There was plenty of room and the walking either on the beach or down the street side was enjoyable each day. The sunsets are beautiful and wathcing the dolphins swim close by the shore each night.
were there. It is only about two miles to the big grocery stores. Balboa Park is also about 20-25 minutes away and the Zoo about 40 minutes. We added a puzzle to the two they already had and the family enjoyed working on them. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware, pot and pans. A blender would be a nice addition. They especially need a garbage disposal since when cooking and washing dishes it was a pain to have to constantly clean out the since from scraps. The ocean bedrooms were very comfortable with a wonderful breeze from the ocean, but the front two bedrooms by the street were very warm at night. Our stay was nice since we were out and about and not in the bedrooms until bedtime.

We have added a blender to this property. Regarding garbage disposal, we do not provide these in any of our rentals because they were continually breaking down and were more often than not unusable. Thank you for your feedback ~ The Team at Beachfront Only

We were missing a broon and dust pan which we purchased and left, so now there is one. Over all, we loved the place, the view, the weather was perfect, and we liked that it didn't take very long to go the places we wanted to go. Maybe you could have some plastic bowls and plates for children.

Broom and dust pan have been replaced. We have so much dish ware that paper products would be recommended for children.

Wonderful Family Vacation on the Beach

I stayed here with my entire family and extended family for a week and it could not have been better. There was plenty of space for everyone and the home never felt crowded. We enjoyed our evenings sitting out on the patio, sipping wine, going in and out of the spa, and watching the sunsets. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds are, and we are all planning to rebook and return same time next year!! Check in was so easy with the keyless entry codes, and property management even called before we arrived to see if we had any questions, as well as call before our departure to ask how our stay was. Overall, a fabulous experience and can't wait to do it again next year!! It was just what we all needed.

A family week at 396 Neptune, Encinitas

We had a great week with 17 family members. We also have a Tahoe Vacation Rental and are familiar with managemrnt concerns. The big things were excellent, the small things need some attention, ie:
1 All the knives were VERY dull and no knife sharpener and the steel was nicked.
2 Can opener was broken.
3 Slat on door of cabinet below sink was loose.
4 There were many cars parked on street overnight and we were told we could not.

Thank you for your feedback. The broken can opener and slat on door has been replaced and/or fixed. Regarding the parking, regular residents can park their cars overnight on Neptune, however, it is a City Law that there is no overnight street parking for the Vacation Rentals. Because this is a vacation rental, we have to abide by this rule and use the designated garage and driveway spots.

Perfect Family Get Together!!!

It's so hard sometimes to get your family together at the same time, between juggling work & kids it is so difficult! This was the perfect place to finally just relax with each other and it was great for the little ones as well! They could run around and play and we didn't have to worry about a thing! We just lounged in the jacuzzi and cooked some burgers! If you're looking for the perfect size property for a large family with little ones, look no further!!!

Encinitas Beach House- Fabulous Location & Stay!

The house was absolutely wonderful and perfectly set up for large families/groups. We had a "girls getaway" and the rooms & bathrooms suited us perfectly.The only downside was not having a garbage disposal.That was a bit of a nuisense. If you are renting the home, be sure to bring the garbage cans inside the garage as neighbors use them & fill them up leaving you without any space for garbage. The rental company sent someone out to take away the garbage, but that shouldn't need to happen. All in all you can't beat the location & comfort of this home.

We have actually taken garbage disposals out of all of our homes because they were becoming a constant maintenance issue and always breaking or jamming up. We do apologize for this inconvenience. Thank you for the feedback! ~ The Team at Beachfront Only

Friends and family vacation

We had a wonderful visit! The house was all we expected and then some. The views were memorable-sunsets, surfers and the occasional dolphin! We also enjoyed a beautiful sail in San Diego Bay on the "Stars and Stripes" , wine tasting in Temecula, lots of wonderful food, relaxing, shopping and catching up on each others lives.
