We loved the location! The little ones enjoyed the putting green and the beach. My only complaint was the lack of food staples (sugar, flour, etc.) and condiments (mustard, ketchup, etc). I bought cold cuts, but didn’t want to buy a whole bottle of mustard. Maybe restaurant style small packets could be included.

Great vacation- improvements needed

I want to say that we had a wonderful family vacation. The house was very accommodating for our large group and very easy for my 86 year old Mother-in-law to navigate. The flat layout with minimal steps was nice. Ocean views were breathtaking and watching the surfers every day was a treat. Putting green, fire pit and hot tub were all nice amenities. Having 2 washer and dryer sets was a nice perk. On to the house… The house needs some TLC. The pics on the website fail to show tattered furniture, stained headboard in oceanfront bedroom. Bunkbeds are sightly and worn. Mattress in queen bedroom was very uncomfortable. Dirty fans, dirty baseboards, threadbare blankets. Shower head in ocean front bathroom was mounted way too high- I couldn’t even reach it and had to use a separate shower. There are not any tables with umbrellas outside, just a sofa, chairs and some tattered umbrellas. No rocking chairs as depicted. The tandem driveway was fine but we couldn’t get in/out in the drive. We had to unload passengers on the street and pray we didn’t scratch the walls while parking- as it was a VERY tight space. While non of these issues put a damper on our wonderful vacation, I do feel that this property was overpriced and certainly not a luxury property. Location 5 stars, condition of house 3 stars. Some minor updates would make a huge difference.

We loved it but do have a little feedback. The counters are unusually high so all the shorter adults had some trouble with that. For instance I couldn’t even reach to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth. A couple of step stools would really help with that. We were only there for 3 nights so 2 full days. Almost the entire 1st full day there were workers there working in the solar panels. We had 15 minutes notice before they showed up. This was stressful for the dogs and we couldn’t park at the house and had to keep walking to and from side streets when we went to the store and such that day. Then the next day someone showed up with no notice to inspect the work done the day before and was there for a couple of hours. Again we had to move cars and couldn’t let the dogs in the back yard. Overall we loved the place but not very happy how that work was handled.

950 Neptune: Wow, what a spacious home with incredible views! We had a great experience overall but there were a few things that we noticed… First of all, the house has a friend or two as we saw evidence of rat feces and they ate some of our bananas and hid food under the couch. Secondly, it appeared that some of the bathrooms were not cleaned thoroughly as there were hairs left on the shower walls and cobwebs. Lastly, the shower door in the upstairs loft didn’t close all the way. All in all though, the home was exactly what we were looking for and we really enjoyed our stay. 952 Neptune: Another incredible home with breathtaking views! Plenty of room and comfortable conditions. A very pleasant stay overall, but there were a few things… first of all, we couldn’t get the TV in the living room to work, it kept turning off. Secondly, the bathtub drain was clogged, full of hair that was quite unpleasant smelling. Lastly, one of the shower heads would not work, so we were unable to use that shower. Again, we enjoyed our stay overall but there were a few things that could have made our stay even better. Thank you so much for everything! It was a dream come true weekend.

Views for Miles

Beautiful view! We had a wonderful time having a family reunion with our children and grandchildren. Access to the beach is very very close, the views are beautiful and the house is in decent condition. There’s plenty of room. The men love the putting green and we didn’t have to worry about the children too much because the backyard was in fully enclosed. We arrive during a heat wave and the only thing that I have to complain about was the air conditioning. It didn’t work very well and the last day and a half it actually froze up and didn’t work the rest of the time. Also there are a lot of little teeny ants throughout the house. We put muffins on top of the refrigerator and the next morning gave them to my grand children and saw that they were covered in ants. Anytime we needed help with anything management always sent somebody out within a few hours. But again they couldn’t fix the air conditioning. The house needed some updating but all in all it was a very good trip and a very nice house. We would definitely stay here again as long as they take care of the ants and the air conditioning problems.

Everything was exactly how it looked online - well maintained, beautiful, well stocked, and a gorgeous location. Any problems we had, like being unable to work the shower faucet, was immediately taken care of. We couldn't get over how incredibly luxurious everything felt! Great house. Great location. However, one small issue. Apparently, there are rats outside of the property and the management is taking measures for them not to get into the property. We found some rat poison in the house and we had puppy with us. Thanks GOD we saw it and were able to remove it.

Wow! Beautiful home and views!

Amazing views! Beautiful home! We had such a wonderful time, it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this home. Location is great, access to beach is close, love how the doors slide open to listen to the ocean all day and all night! Except for the little black ants that took over the kitchen, it was a very nice home and an enjoyable time!

House was clean, a tad worn, but very nice for a beach house. What minor problems we had BeachFront took care of right away - really impressive management. Not crazy about having other renters looking down from patio above, but not a big deal. Putting green was a nice family activity. Plenty of seating. Views forever - nice to have nearby beach access - not tough walk down to beach, but not for elderly. Great beach - popular surf spot - maybe too popular in high season. Lots of good eats within walking. Needs television instructions. Fun family hangout house.

Beautiful home, great service

Thanks so much for arranging this property for us. It was way more than we needed room wise but the house was extraordinary. We loved it!
We had originally scheduled a house in Oceanside but a few days before our scheduled arrival we were told it was going to be having some maintenance and we were offered some other properties. I was not thrilled with what was offered and asked for something else and we got this FANTASTIC house. I loved the vibe in Encinitas too. Glad we were not there on a weekend because it gets really busy. Overall, we could not have been happier. Beautiful home, thoughtful and professional service. This was our 2nd booking with beachfront and we will definitely do it again!

Location location location

Fantastic house with unbeatable view and location. We sheltered in place for 2 weeks for the holidays. The surfers loved Beacons beach just below and the path next door. Went looking for better spots a couple of mornings, but Beacons won the race. The gym rats set up on the putting green with am yoga, afternoon weights and great tans. I arrived with a knife bag and a lot of provisions. Did not get in the car for 2 weeks and sat outside on the deck with a permanent grin on my face.
The neighborhood was 100% walkable. Lots of great takeout. Nectarine Grove, Haggos tacos. Peachys produce for the mountain o limes we needed. A restock from Ralph’s and BevMo delivery got us through the second week
House is very spacious. Great for groups with so many different areas to hang out.
The house is a popular rental. Very clean. Good beds. Appliances are in they’re golden years but are good quality. The parking spaces are tight if you have a Large SUV. Property manager always got back to us within the hour.
Looking forward to a return visit! I do a lot of vacation rentals and this was one of my favorites even with sheltering in place.

Fabulous Staycation

My husband and I needed to get away from the routine of South Bay. With our health in mind, we chose this fantastic property! The location can NOT be beat. Listening to the waves, the panoramic views, fully stocked kitchen, and all amenities were provided. I was born and raised in San Diego, and still know little about north county, so this was a true vacation. My only regret is that we did not stay longer!

Excellent view

Overall stay was pretty good. The house is great. The view is amazing. Location is great too, it’s right next to public stairs that lead to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. We enjoyed the bike paths next to the house as well. Kitchen is fully stocked. Lots of room in the house. We only had 4 people staying due to covid but the house can accommodate many more. The upstairs is a loft, which is hard to tell from the pictures and there is not an upper balcony, but the lower lawn is wonderful and the golf hole a bonus. Only negatives was the fireplace would only stay on for 20mins max. We called several times for this to be fixed but they were not able to fix the issue during our stay. The jacuzzi really only fits 2 comfortably and was luke warm at best. someone came out to fix this and replaced the filter but it still didn’t get very hot which was a bit of a bummer. Definitely would come again and hope they are able to fix the fireplace and jacuzzi. Awesome mini staycation.

Best Views & Sunsets

We have stayed at this location for 3 years now and we keep coming back. Biggest reason is home is set up, good for large families, good beds, plenty of bathrooms. Remember location location location and sunsets. I lived in Encinitas in early 80’s and is special place for me so FYI, north county beaches are the best still. Overall The Perfect House

My company rents this house a few times a year. The house is located on the bluff right next to Beacon Beach. Overall the house was in great shape and looked exactly like the pictures. There were a few minor issues. Two of the sliding doors were stuck so you had to use them carefully or not all. There were ants on the kitchen counter and in the drawers. We had a large group of people which included my grandson. He was crawling around on the floors inside the house and after a short time we noticed his legs and hands were black. The floors had not been mopped in. It is a beach house but the floors should still be cleaned. It would be nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas to be able to take to the beach.

Location and Views Can't Be Beat!

This was the second week we rented this property this year. As I said in my first review, the best qualities of the house are its location and views. Plus having 5 full bathrooms is wonderful. The only complaint is regarding the central air. The two bedrooms that face the street become very hot and stuffy as does the interior room with the bunkbeds. The A/C did not seem to be working efficiently in those rooms. The technician came to look at it, and we thought he had fixed the problem because the air was then blowing strongly in the kitchen and master bedroom. Only after he left did we notice the those two bedrooms were receiving almost no forced air from the vents. When doors are closed for privacy, these rooms were quite uncomfortable. The rest of the house stayed cool because of the breeze off the ocean and window A/C in other street-facing rooms. The spa tub was also not working, but that was fixed promptly. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location and Views Can't Be Beat!

We were here for a week with part of our family. We plan to return June/July for another week with the rest. The views and location are the best: quick access to Beacon's Beach plus a gorgeous view to watch surfers and sunset. We also walked to some great restaurants (Coffee Coffee, Le Papagayo, Fish 101) and downtown shops. The number of bathrooms is even more important to us than bedrooms. With 5 bathrooms and 2 separate living areas plus large private outdoor space, this house provided the perfect place to gather together or to find some alone-time if needed. The kitchen had plenty of counter space but could use more silverware. The cabinets have had a lot of wear and tear, which is probably a challenge with so much use. Plenty of clean towels, plus three sets of LG washer/dryers. Great appliances, especially dishwasher, which got a lot of use. (Could have used an instruction manual, but our daughter has a Bosch so that helped.) We held fun tournaments on the putting green, but only three of the four putters were usable. Outdoor seating was comfortable. We did not use the hot tub. The place was clean, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Property management responded quickly and courteously to the only issue we had, and accommodated us with complimentary late check-out when they couldn't get a fireplace repairman right away. We are looking forward to returning and would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful visit with long time friends

We had a great stay at this house overlooking the ocean. The house was clean; the kitchen was well stocked, and the neighborhood was quiet. The dishwasher did not work our first night, but maintenance sent a repair person within 48 hours. There are minor maintenance issues that should be addressed: peeling cabinets being the major issue. Overall those issues did not detract from our relaxing stay with friends.

Just like the pictures!!!

We were 100% satisfied with this rental. Breathtaking view. The property was exactly as described. It was superb. Beautiful decor, everything in working order. Manager provided great customer service. We only needed a few questions answered prior to our stay. We had absolutely no need for customer service while at the property. I recommended this property to a friend while we were staying there. I sent her pictures. I think she may rent this house also. We mostly enjoyed the property itself. We used the putting green and outside area the most. We went down to the beach and walked. One day there here were dolphins and a Whale swimming out front. We had dinner at the Chart House nearby. We also ate at restaurants that were within walking distance from the property. Great memories.

WOW what a wonderful view!

I booked this property for a retreat, and what a retreat it was! The open concept dining/living room was plenty large enough for us to hold meetings, meals, and devotionals. Each person had his own bed to sleep in and the beds were great. The back yard has a stunning view of the pacific ocean, and the setting was incredibly peaceful. The hot tub was clean and just big enough for four adults. The putting green was a nice bonus. We did experience a lack of power in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom during the evening. An employee was out the next morning to remedy the issue. This house is within walking distance of some wonderful local restaurants. Over all we were very pleased with our stay.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful view and house. Loved ending the night with a dip in the hot tub looking at the stars and loved waking up and having coffee looking at the ocean. Enjoyed amenities like the fire pit, hot tub, golf putting green, outdoor furniture, all kitchen items you can need, and so much space. House was clean and decorated super cute. Beautiful!

We loved the house and the view. But upon arrival a young man was cleaning the windows, we asked him to please finish his work but as we unloaded our things he quietly left so the windows were not very clean. Also the fireplace didn't work. That was disappointing as it got chilly in the evening. The pilot light came on but we couldn't get it to light up. Otherwise it was a very nice experience. There was one bedroom attached to another where there are two full size bunkbeds... I wish there was a door for privacy. There is no door between those two bedrooms. My son used the spa and enjoyed it but said you lose the view when you are in it. Your view is blocked by a bush and the low level. These things were minor overall and we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this beautiful beach house and would enjoy coming again in the future.

Breathe Taking Sunsets and View

The pictures do not do this place justice! This house is perfect for large families, couples or, groups of people. With the 5 bathrooms and 5 rooms spread throughout the house you have a sense of privacy and never feel crowded. We enjoyed every moment of the house and had nothing planned but quality time and the beach. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking. You learn to appreciate the solitude of just the waves and complete darkness to enjoy the stars.
The property was clean and did have everything we needed. Management is great about taking suggestions and supplying missing items. You do face the west so the afternoons can be quite warm if you are sitting in the house. They do have air, however; we didn't find that it worked very well. We kept the doors open and the umbrellas up. There was an issue with flies since we always had the doors open. Most places don't stock enough of the paper essentials needed, so we brought extra napkins, foil, and ziplock bags. This way you can store any leftovers. They have a great beach below the house that is not heavily populated. You do have to go down a fairly steep and slick hill to get to the beach. You also have to be able to go back up it. This was a little challenging for my parents but they were able to enjoy the beach one day. If you seek a serene get away, this is your place!

Awesome oceanfront rental

This was my 3rd time staying at 950 Neptune. It was phenomenal again and again.

The unusually hot temperatures in San Diego area made it a little challenging to cool the house.

Also, leaving the sliding door glass doors open helped with a breeze however there was a squirrel lurking around that wanted to come in. Screen doors would help, but probably not practical in the big living room doors.

Some kind of shading more than just the 3 umbrellas would make it easier and more doable to sit outside from noon until about 6-7pm.

But I'll be coming back. Already have reservations for next March, and may be back before then.

Amazing view but disappointed in essentials!

This house has an amazing view, great location and patio! We had 6 adults/6 kids in our group and plenty of beds/baths for everyone.
The only negative is the property is not equipped with enough in the kitchen. We had to run the dishwasher lots to have enough utensils to eat our meals, and finally bought plastic so we didn't have to bother. There is a bare minimum of cooking pants/1 tupperware/no foil or sandwich bags for storing left overs and no basic spices. Our biggest complaint is a house this big and expensive comes with no beach chairs and no boogie boards. We had to buy all of this after our arrival. We have been renting on Neptune for over 20 years and have never rented a house that is missing so much! It would not cost much for the owners to stock the kitchen with some basic spices and more utensils/pans. We rented a few blocks south on Neptune the next week and the house had everything! Just made a big difference not having to buy so much. Also, be aware that this house has no garbage disposal (again could install for so little) and it resulted in us having to empty garbage 3 X a day!

Kenneth & Sherry Woods Vacation Rental

The property was not clean referring to the floors, counter tops and dishes. Dishes were dusty and some of the silverware had dried food on them. The floors were dirty. The air conditioning units did not work and several times we had to call for assistance. We received air after two days of being in the heat, yet the maid service came at exactly 10 on our check out day. There should have been a grace period for us or a return of some monies due to the challenges we encountered. Even after the experts came to service the air conditioner, it was still hot. The gracious gentlemen who came in to service said the system needed to be replaced and they did do extensive work on what was already in place. They discovered that one side of the house had air, the other side did not, which affected two bedrooms, two baths and the den. This made it quite uncomfortable in these areas. They informed us that they would be sure to update the owner with this information.

Awesome House...Amazing Backyard!

We stayed here with 4 other couples to celebrate my wife's birthday. 4 of the rooms have king beds with connected full bathrooms and the 5th has a queen with a full bath around the corner. Master suite opens onto the back yard, so we left the door open to listen to the waves crashing at night. The house and location were great...close to bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. The backyard is amazing! When at the house, we spent most of our time with the back doors open enjoying the cool beach air while playing around out back. So great to enjoy a beverage, watch surfers, hit balls on the putting green, and take in the gorgeous sunset. I would definitely recommend it and hope to return!

Can’t beat that view!

The view was everything we’d hoped and the putting green was a big hit too. Beds & linens were excellent. It was VERY clean! The place needs some TLC; little things that were broken like garbage disposal and coffee grinder. Fire pit was a Walmart special, it was neither attractive nor effective. Hot tub is way too small for such a large unit; 2 adults max capacity. When I called to ask Management Co. about the parking situation I got absolutely no useful information; the person I spoke with knew nothing at all about this partcular property.

FABULOUS FAMILY REUNION

Our family had not begin together in years - so we were so looking forward to our stay. This property was perfect for us - there were 14 of us and one infant! The house was clean and well stocked with dishes and games. The view was spectacular! There is a walk to the beach but it was great exercise. It is right next to the parking lot for beach entrance but noise was not a problem. We called the management company about a couple of "how to" questions and there were very responsive and helpful. Also close to local attractions, Seaside Fish Market and coffee houses close by!!! Hoping to visit again soon!

This home is lovely. The location is perfect. And the team who helped us put it all together is professional. If you're looking for a place to land for your next vacation, and you have a gaggle of friends/family, then this place could be perfect. The putting green is fun, the view is spectacular and the amenities are pretty good. Given the high price, it would have been nice to see some updates on some of the home, and all things in perfect working order, but all in all, things were nice. If you're expecting visitors, tell them to Uber, as parking is a pain. And if you're expecting "pure luxury" this isn't the place. Again, it treated us and our party very nicely.

Beach House Review

Pros- The view is breathtaking! The location is wonderful and the day staff was very helpful (the night staff not so much) The kitchen is well stocked. Cons- We had some problems that started out minor but do to the fact they were never fixed it became a somewhat large issue- The master bedroom had a leak all weekend (there was actual black mold all over ceiling) and the air conditioner never worked in most rooms, the master was unbearably hot. The guest bedrooms small air unit, blow dryer or iron would blow the circuit for that bedroom which became a major pain to have to go flip the circuit breaker every 15 min.- The pictures are a bit deceiving -the yard is much larger then appears which was awesome since the view was amazing but all the rooms are much smaller then they appear-also the noise from the upstairs guest is very loud- if your considering taking someone who needs their sleep do not choose bedrooms under upstairs unit-Parking is very tight (small cars only). Screens on back side of home would also be nice- the unit was completely open upon arrival which was gorgeous but there was a rather large number of flies in the house. But all in all the unit was worth it for the yard and view- and as long as the leak and air were repaired and you were aware of the other issues we would recommend it.

Amazing ocean view

We recently had a family reunion here and it was one of the best times of our lives. The property location, size and amenities was just perfect for a family of 10-12 people. The huge windows overlooking the ocean was just amazing day in and day out. Everyone had a blast. Only minor downside is the beach access - since this is on a cliff, you need to walk through a zig-zeg path next to the beach house. If the beach access was easier than that then it would have been ideal as we had kids and it would have been great if the kids could just walk right up to the beach while the parents watched over them from the patio.

Highly recommend this place for anyone. Its just awesome.

Great rental. Overall was happy with the stay. Things to mention is the walk down to the beach with small kids is hard. Master bathroom has limited storage room as does the kitchen. Will comeback for another stay in a few years.

Very Happy

My family and I celebrated my mom's 80th birthday here. Ten adults stayed for three nights. We loved the location, views, and accommodations. The home had plenty of space and everything we needed. Awesome beach front rental

we loved this location and home. the only slightly weird thing was the unusually high counter tops in the kitchen and most of the bathrooms - this was challenging for the short women and kids in the family. seems as though the space was designed with a taller individual in mind BUT this could very easily be fixed with step stool(s) available or easily identifiable in the unit.
Also, the TV in the upstairs bedroom was not working.

June Beach trip 2016

The facilities were very nice and we had a great time. If I had four complaints one would be that the hot tub is kind of a joke. It barely fit 3 adults in it. Secondly there were no shot glasses and the wine glasses were incredibly high up off the ground. Thirdly the knives needed to sharpened in the worst way possible. The last complaint was that we only had one tv that could access the cable and the wifi went out a few times. Other than that it was a great place to stay for a lot of people.

Amazing Place for All of Your Needs!

I rented this place for an international team meeting this past week and could not be happier. The location, environment, and ambiance all played an essential role in conducting a productive meeting. Everyone, which included people from Finland, Brazil, Holland, Germany, Canada, Mexico, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, and the US, were all very excited to meet and work at this amazing house in Encinitas! Family fun

Our family was able to enjoy a multitude of activities while staying at this location, Disneyland, Legoland, morning runs on the beach, leisurely playtime on the beach and in the backyard. WOW! Just wow. From the minute we walked in the front door, that's all we said for about 10 minutes straight. The rental is in a very convenient location; walking distance to shops, coffee, restaurants and of course, the beach. Perfect Getaway

Wedding Weekend Getaway with Friends

Had a great time. The Condo was clean, had amazing views, great access to the ocean, and good space. The putting green was a fun add-on but the hot-tub was really shallow and small. The check-in and check-out policy is quite strict, and the access to the trash from our unit was non-existent, but overall this was a fantastic spot.

Rented this as a base camp for my groomsmen and their dates for my wedding being held at the Encinitas botanical garden. The house is as described, only better. The patio area is much larger than it appears in photos, and the accommodations are outstanding. One thing - bring salt, pam, etc.. There were not any "leftover" kitchen supplies that you might find at other places, but no worries because there are plenty of stores nearby! We'll be back...

Perfect family vacation

Everything you want from a beach house

Beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. House is very clean and well-stocked. Our party of 10 (5 couples) loved the privacy of the 5 bedrooms. 2 sets of washers & driers! Perfect views & you can't beat hearing the ocean as you wake up, eat and relax. Quiet neighborhood & everything you need is within walking distance except grocery stores & there are multiple options within a short drive.

Only 2 negatives: 1) The hot tub was off when we arrived so it was unusable the 1st night while we waited for it to heat up. It should be hot and ready for guests.

2) The coffee maker didn't work but the management company brought us a new one.

We LOVED the house and already want to go back!

Great family reunion with spectacular view

We wanted a local place to stay on the beach. This place was perfect for our 9 adult children and spouses and 2 grandchildren. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the view. The terrace area was safe for the 11 month old to crawl about with the glass enclosure. the putting green was a hit. Having 5 baths was perfect for no post beach prep. Place is well equipped. the only add we would suggest is a garbage disposal and trash can located by the sink.

Beachfront in Encinitas

Overall, this property is very nice and conforms with the information on the website. The location is great - nice neighborhood, incredible views, and a quick walk down the trail to the beach.

On the positive side - the property is huge. plenty of room for a family or even families to spread out. Great kitchen which is fully equipped, though with all of the great restaurants in walking distance we only ate breakfast in the unit.

Now for the negatives. The parking space allocated to the unit is a very narrow driveway. Only about two feet wider than the rental car, so everyone except the driver had to get out before we parked. And backing out of the driveway is "blind" because of the wall beside the driveway (and because the on street public parking basically pins you in to the driveway with mere inches on either side).

Another thing to consider is that the hot tub on the back porch is a portable model that is much smaller than it looks in the picture. Made for two people, but maybe you can squeeze four into it.

Another thing you should know is that all of the plumbing appears to be on sump pump. Because of this - I think - all of the bathroom sinks are raised up about 6 inches higher than normal. For the shorter people in our party, they had to stand on tip-toes to wash hands and brush teeth.

Wonderful Vacation Experience

We have stayed here twice. First for a 105th B-day and the 2nd for a 60th B-day. Being next to the ocean 24/7 is wonderful. We were outside almost as much as inside. Watching the sunset and moonset, surfers, dolphins and whales, kids playing below, reading or sleeping to the sound of the waves- ahhh, loved it! Plenty of space inside too. A favorite of mine was to get up early, turn on the instant fireplace have my cup of tea. Always great memories here for us, thanks!

Pure Magic!

We stayed at this magnificent beachfront home for 4 days. The night we arrived, we had gotten in around 9pm and couldn't quite figure out how to use the key code entry (I was missing pressing a button :). Getting in touch with property management after hours was a breeze and we were inside in a matter of seconds. The location is just stunning. It overlooks the ocean in Encinitas. We watched whales spouting and dolphins jumping out of the water from the jacuzzi on the deck overlooking the sea. The home is equipped with anything you could possibly need. My Book Club goes on a retreat every year and this summer, I'm recommending 950 Neptune!
The property management team is very professional and friendly and made for an easy check in and out.
We highly recommend staying in this architecturally beautiful home!

Wonderful time for the family.

We came from 3 different states and had a wonderful time. The back yard was safe for the children and the views were amazing. The house was clean and well cared for. The only negative was the heat. We were there in 90 degree plus weather. Apparently no one uses air conditioning there. The management company did their best with providing fans. It was still uncomfortable and unbearable from 4-7pm. Also, the trek up and down the hill to the beach was tiresome. We would probably try and rent on the beach next time and not on a cliff above. We also had a day were locals came and took advantage of our backyard and trashed it. We called the management company and they came and put a lock and the gate to keep them out. It was a bit unnerving. But, even with the few mishaps the stay allowed us to be together and relax.

PERFECT Beach Vacation!

The views are just amazing! The house was right on par with the views. We were very pleased. Our family of 9 (ages 39 - 2) fit perfectly, we actually had room to spare! The putting green was super fun for all ages. We love the patio area & that is where we spent most of our non-beach time. Like another review, we thought the hot tub was bigger that it is, but it is by no means small. We fit in it perfectly & enjoyed every minute of it! We live in Florida (for now!) so we are used to AC, but with the breeze it was better than AC. The beach access through Beacon's Beach is quite different than what we are used to, but we all got used to it the first day. The beach was just too perfect & so not crowded. Everyone was super friendly. Our kids had surfing lessons right on Beacon's Beach one day. I have to recommend / We had 5 kids in his surf lesson. He and his team were FABULOUS, so kind! After that 1 surf lesson, our kids were surfers! We even rented them boards for the rest of the week. The Beachfront Only staff was very helpful, but we did not need them much once we were booked. The place is pretty stocked with essentials. The only thing we would like to see is some beach toys. This rental helped to make our beach vacation one of the best!

Just stayed 4 nights at this location. Home is very well equipped and has easy access to the beach below via the lot next door. Putting green was great for the family of all ages. Would definitely stay here again. If you're tall you'll love it even more - high counter tops and shower heads positioned for a giant! Only downside was the upstairs unit was rented for 2 of the 4 nights we were there and we could hear a lot of noise from them. The jacuzzi is also pretty small and shallow, but it was fine considering only 2-3 people were in it at a time.

Girls Reunion

We stayed at 2 properties in Encinitas, E059-0 & E808-0. Both homes are absolutely amazing. This was a girls reunion with college roommates. The entire process from booking to checkout was so easy. I loved the mobile app option to have all of our rental information (arrival/departure info, door access code, what is provided in the home) right on my phone. We had questions when we first checked in and 'Beach Front Only' was very easy to reach and promptly answered all of our questions. The homes are immaculate, spacious, have perfect deck/patio areas with amazing ocean views, fully stocked kitchens, and both are very close to the walking path that takes you down to the beach. The homes overlook a popular surf spot. We spent our afternoons watching surfers and saw numerous dolphins playing near the shore. I highly recommend booking your next vacation through 'Beach Front Only' and I would definitely stay in either of these 2 properties again. The location and experience are worth every penny!

Oceanfront Vacation Rental w/ Spa, E059-0

My family and I rented this amazing property to celebrate my Mother's 70th birthday. Several of those in attendance came in from the east coast. It was wonderful seeing everyone's reactions as they entered the front door for the first time. Being able to watch the surfers and the dolphins during the day and the miraculous sunsets every night was breathtaking. There were several days where no one wanted to leave the house at all but whenever we did there was so much to do in the area. We especially loved the wine bar down the street, Solterre Winery & Kitchen. They have all asked if I can make renting this property a new annual family tradition. I hope to be back soon!

Great Location, beautiful views.
Just a few minor issues:
Would be nice if some basic kitchen expendables were left behind by previous renters, i.e. : Tin Foil, Zip Lock bags, Sugar, spices, etc. not necessary, but that would be nice.
A lot of the electrical outlets did not work. with all of the electronics we travel with now a days, everybody is looking for power, everywhere !
We did see several rats on the back porch, one was actually in the BBQ grill. Didn't really bother me personally, and I know they live right there on the hill, but maybe there is some kind of deter-ant ???

Amazing property with a view to die for. We didn't think we'd use the ocean-view putting green but it was a big hit with everyone. Lots of room for a big group with plenty of nice bathrooms. A few minor complaints - dim lighting, not enough food storage in kitchen, and a tiny closet in the ocean-view master - but we all had a wonderful time. The condo was immaculate and the management company was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this property to friends.

Easter Break Family Vacation

From the first moment we spoke over the phone to Sheva from the Team at Beachfront Only Vacation Rentals, we were very impressed. Sheva was knowledgable, professional, caring and extremely helpful with all of our questions about the area and the property.

We will rent again here very soon it was that good!! The only reason why we gave 4 starts under the category of "property clean" instead of 5, is that we suggest you clean the carpets in the bedrooms because our feet and socks were dirty after walking around.

The staff was very attentive; for example, we had a very minor problem with the barbecue. After a quick phone call they had a person out immediately to make the necessary adjustments and the barbecue worked well after that.

Outstanding ocean views, weather was excellent, numerous dolphin and seal sightings directly in front of us in the ocean, the walk down to the beach was easy and convenient. Our family really enjoyed the beach and related water activities.

We strongly recommend this property and we will be back soon!! Thanks for a wonderful vacation experience.

Family Stay in California

We vacationed in California as a family in December 2012.Upon walking in the front door we all gasped at the beautiful view! The wall of sliding doors providing a unobstructed view of the ocean was amazing! Each room was clean and properly appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The only suggestion we would have would be more lighting in the kitchen. Having said that, the kitchen was beautiful and fun to cook in. It also had a large window facing the ocean that made washing the dishes a treat! We enjoyed sitting in the Jacuzzi while listening to the crashing of the ocean waves below us. There were plenty of chairs in the backyard for outside lounging and it was a great place to enjoy a morning hot chocolate. At night as we watched movies together on the large flat screen TV we enjoyed the coziness of the gas fireplace. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay! We recommend this home and company to anyone who is looking for a place to stay on the beach! 5 stars!

This was our first experience with BeachFront Only and we will definately return to one of your properties next year ! The propery is excellent. I have only 2 suggestions.
1) Tile all of carpeted areas as carpet is not hygenic.
2) Put a lock on the gate from the carport to the back yard for security reasons - anyone can currently walk right into the back yard which prevented us from sleeping with the sliding door open to enjoy the ocean air.

Best view in California

We spent a lovely but too-short 5 days enjoying the beach with lots of friends and family. The view was astonishing! The whole Pacific lies right there. We were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins swimming leisurely through the kelp beds one evening.

The unit is perfect for adults older kids who can go back and forth to the beach on their own. Little kids and our older parents found the path to the beach a bit difficult. Our teen and young adult children invited friends, and they were up and down the cliff all day to swim, boogie board, surf, and sunbathe, then up for snacks, hot tub, board games, and shade. Kahuna Bob gives surf lessons each morning right below the house, which should be arranged a few days in advance.

Our stay was during a rare startling heat wave, and the upstairs loft was too hot to use, but the kids made do with the sofa bed and an air mattress. Extra linens and pillows were conveniently provided.

The kitchen is fairly well-equipped, with a gas grill on the patio, and efficient dishwasher. There are two washers and three dryers, which seemed excessive until we needed to wash a few loads at once. The lighting in the kitchen and dining areas is funky - a dimmer would be nice.

We were concerned about noise and parking. However, we found that the neighborhood is surprisingly quiet at night -thanks to strict city ordinances. 3 small cars fit in the driveway, with another in front when needed.

Things to bring: binoculars, extra beach towels, board games (although there are a few in the unit), paper towels for kitchen and bathrooms, toilet paper, cutting boards if you cook a lot, a queen air mattress for the sofabed, and a movie or two.

The blinds in the rooms were in disrepair, the toilet handle in one of the bathrooms was loose, the BBQ needs repair, and you should add a iPhone compatible docking station. This is our 5th or 6th visit and it's always nice but the weather did not cooperate.

Awesome Vacation Rental!

The house was beautiful. The 5 bedrooms and 5 baths gave everyone plenty of room and privacy, but the layout of the house kept everyone together for dinner and visiting. It was a beautiful location. Couldn't be easier to get down to the beach. Encinitas is a very cute town as well. We'll be back!

The blinds adjustment pendant in the master bedroom was missing, so the blinds couldn't be closed. The hot tub was too hot, and we could not find the thermostat for it. Overall we loved the view and the location relative to golf courses in the area.

GREAT OCEAN VIEW

The ocean view was THE BEST THING to have.
Well equipped kitchen and cleaning supplies, although I would add coffee filters.
I didn't like that one of the bathrooms had wall to wall carpet.
I personally think that is not very hygienic.
Fits a lot of people comfortably.

We would definitely rent again.

Fun Family Stay

The view was beautiful of the sunset and the ocean. We had a whale spotting along with several dolphins and many surfers. The rental property was perfect for a large family and the putting green and hot tub kept them occupied. Overall we had a great stay and would like to return in the future.

Wonderful Birthday and Friendsgiving Celebration

I rented this home for my birthday, as a pre-Thanksgiving celebration with friends. It was such a beautiful, special experience. The property is lovely and spacious. For dinner, I made a rack of lamb + appetizers and soup. The kitchen was impressively equipped with the pots, pans and flatware I needed. I truly felt as comfortable as being in my own home...I just had a much much better view with the vacation rental! 🙂 The Beach access was great--the home is right next to Beacon's Beach in Encinitas. We had fun watching the surfers and watching the dolphins playing in the water. It was also gorgeous watching the sunset from the patio, which overlooks the ocean. A few of us even used the putting green on the patio--that and the hot tub are a really nice perk! Again, it was a truly special experience and I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to share the home and the experience with my best friends.

Fantasic views excellent location

The property was located directly next to the beach access. Amazing unobstructed views. Walking distance to small shops and restaurants. Located a short drive from the town of Encinitas. Rental company was easy to work with but I had called to see of we could check in an hour early and never got a call back. When I called again the lady told me she would call back but never did... Otherwise they were great and we had a fantastic week.

Spring Break

Home was exactly as pictured - very clean with plenty of room and an awesome view! The beach was public and not clean like a private beach would be - access was next door at a public entry, which our kids, all in their 20's, didn't seem to mind. But all in all a very nice stay!

Beachfront Bliss

Enjoyed a reunion of 5 long-time friends and the celebration of a birthday at this beautiful beachfront home. So relaxing and beautiful. Spacious, warm, and inviting with all the amenities of "home". VERY high counter tops, so great for the tall folks among us! =) The views are amazing ~ did not even feel like leaving the house to go anywhere else! Dolphins swam by frequently among the surfers and kayakers. Loved all the stones on the beach. Some comments among us were: feel rejuvenated... like being at a spa for the weekend. Only disappointment was that the sliding glass doors in the master were jammed shut and a call into the property manager resulted in someone coming by to fix it - 24 hrs later. On a weekend stay this was way too long for that to have been taken care of. Would have been nice to have those doors open all weekend instead of just the last rainy night of our stay. Otherwise loved staying here. Would definitely come back. Never have to leave and you feel like you are on vacation!

Fantastic accomodations & location

We were a family of 12 ages 73 - 2, we stayed for a week. The house was very clean & comfortable. Great location in between Legoland & Seaworld. We caught the train in Encinitas, one day & road down to Old town & Sea Port Village. We had plenty of room for the little ones to run. Overall we were very pleased with the property and enjoyed our stay. The accommodations, view and amenities were very nice. There are a couple of items that need repair. Two of the three sliding glass doors had either a missing or inoperable screen, hence we had to fight flies the entire week, as the property is not air conditioned. Also, there are a few missing slats on the master bedroom foor-to-ceiling blinds, which effect privacy from people on the patio. One minor issue with the property manager. We had arranged for a crib to be set up in one of the bedrooms by a service recommended by the property manager. When the service set up the crib before our arrival, a representative of the property manager would not let them set up the crib in the bedroom we had selected because of cleaning activities. As a result, upon arrival we had to have the service come back and move the crib. The views from the property are fabulous, but beach access is a bit of a hassle. The walk down the switchback trail carrying supplies and herding children is not easy, but it is manageable.

The screens and sliders have all been fixed.

Our Family Wedding Week

Our family came to Encinitas for our son's wedding. The rental home was spectacular...breathtaking views of the ocean, roomy family space to gather, very clean and the putting green was a nice touch. We enjoyed hours of fun competing in the Neptune Open. The BeachFront management was very attentive and called several times during the week to make sure we were happy and offered any help we needed. I was particularly surprised and releived when a staff member showed up and moved all of our trash cans out for pick up. That was a big plus and greatly appreciated. We loved our week so much we have already booked the same property for March of 2011. Thanks from the Pitts family!

Great stay

The home is spacious and well kept. The views are spectacular! Easy access to I5 and a quick drive to San Diego. All around, it was a great stay and would recommend it to anyone.
