As I said before, the ants were a problem and the rear BR window frames and screens were filthy. There was also debris and scattered trash on the south end of the deck near the outdoor staircase.

Excellent views and both 950 and 952 accommodated our family reunion nicely. I hope we don’t get much larger Lordy mercy. Some faucets need updating, shower heads drip excessively, outdoor furniture were rusted and broken (yes I know you’ll have that on the ocean). It needs a good policing to bring it up to deluxe. Ice makers could not keep up (we appreciated the counter unit supplied!). Nice to have plenty of towels and the outdoor orange beach towels were great. We liked it but it sure could use some concentrated maintenance. Thank you

Hot tub not hot on arrival, but someone did come to fix it when we asked. Called twice to have someone help us get the fireplace going....no one came either time. Ice maker doesn't work. Ants in the kitchen. So much dust on the dining room mirror people are drawing smiley faces on it. I have stayed in this unit several times and have enjoyed it. It just needs a little attention.

I stayed at 952 Neptune Ave with Beachfront Only, and wow! The second I walked in it took my breath away. My entire family was so impressed, I think I’m in charge of booking the vacations from now on! The high ceilings brought in so much light to the home, it was beachy while still having noticeable updates. We had a rooftop deck all to ourselves with a spa that the kids would not get out of! It is also located right next to the public beach access, which made going down to the water so easy, especially with kids. Very family friendly neighborhood, we are all excited to return!

We had a family weekend and Beach Front Only has been our go-to vacation rental in the San Diego area for at least the last 5 years. And each time we are pleasantly surprised. And this is by far the best property in terms of location and layout. I almost hate to leave a good review for fear of others booking the weekends that we would want to come back. Oh well...

Absolutely beautiful view and very clean beach house. It had everything we needed and so much space! The location was the best with so many restaurants close by. The street we were on was great, friendly people and easy beach access. We really enjoyed keeping the doors open listening to the waves- it made for perfect sleeping! We would DEFINITELY rent another house from BFO. We really enjoyed this rental. We had one small issue with a water leak from the roof and they came and fixed it right away.. it didn’t damage anything for us. They were very helpful and checked in as well. Truly appreciated! MAGIC CARPET RIDE

Look no further. If you want a special house waterfront, this is it. Our second time renting it and had a blast. Million dollar views of Beacon’s Beach. A swell was in so my son, who is an exceptional surfer, had a blast. The sets were some of the best he has ever surfed, and he has surfed all over the world including Cloud Break, Fiji. We spent most of our time on the outside terraces enjoying the 360 degree views. Magical! Hot tub was fun. Fire pit at night. Interior was clean and nice. Great bed in Master. And yes, we will rent it again. I have yet to see a better rental in this area. Thanks OCEANFRONT RENTALS!

Great location but property could use some sprucing

The view is beautiful and the location on the beach and Encinitas adjacent is perfect. BUT - the garage is very narrow (our X5 wouldn’t fit), the bottom drawer of the dishwasher doesn’t slide at all, the TV doesn’t have basic cable service, some electrical outlets don’t work, ac vent on the floor is broken and we all tripped on it while we were there. Overall we had a great stay, but for the price I don’t think I should have these types of complaints.

The house was terrific — fantastic views, well maintained, a lively and interesting neighborhood with fun things to do in walking distance. The rental was well equipped — appreciated the small things, like enough toilet paper and dishwasher soap to last the entire trip. Did not have any need for assistance. Fantastic Rental - Highly Recommend

Location is perfect. Right next to a public beach which gives you nice views but also set back a bit so you don’t really hear anything. Amazing Views

Property had amazing views with quick access to the beach. The house itself is in need of some repairs and updating. Bedroom window upstairs is taped shut and broken. They came back to re-tape the window, but it needs replacement. Oven broiler did not work, but they offered to bring in another oven. Some windows are not clear due to window seals broken. If you are looking for super updated, this might not bet he place for you. However, if you're looking for amazing location, with fantastic views, this is the place to go. All bathrooms have bathtubs with showers. Hard for an older person to shower.
There is another rental below this property and the noise from the bedrooms below carries to the property above. We had a young group of kids outside below us after midnight and had to ask them to quiet down. When we called maintenance they responded right away and tried to fix the taped window and oven. Overall, it was a good experience, but house just needs a little repair and update. Again, property management was great and responded immediately.
Property is within walking distance to many local restaurants.

Birthday Celebration

The views and location are great!! Anyone I interacted with at BeachFront Rentals was very responsive. The place is in need of an update for the price paid. Limited TV options, fireplace inside tough to get started. Not crazy about giving names of guests, ages and occupations prior to checking in. Understand in these times the owners might want additional information. Checking in at 4PM and out by 10AM very much shortens the experience for the money paid. I read the rationale behind it given 6 hours is needed to clean. Still believe 2PM would be a better check in than 4PM, 11AM check out, especially in the winter time. Overall even during these COVID times a very nice time was had by all. Thank you!

Great oceanfront get away

Our stay was overall very nice and relaxing. The location is perfect and the house provides views of the ocean from most of the house. Everything you need for cooking and eating is stocked. The only negative was that fireplace and the fire pit were not working and complaints were not dealt with until we were leaving. However, the management did give us a free late checkout to make amends. Despite this, we would recommend this property for a lovely getaway.

Great Beach House in Leucadia

Location is great and was a 2 minute walk down to the beach. Awesome ocean views. Leucadia is a quaint beach town and we found 5-6 good restaurants within a 5 mile walk. The house had 5 good sized bedrooms and came well equipped. Lots of patio space at house and 2 of the bedrooms had private patios. Rooftop patio is a nice plus. Only downside from our perspective was lack of boogie boards and beach chairs/umbrellas, so make sure to bring those with you. We would definitely return.

Hello,

We would like to provide you with feedback on our stay at 952 Neptune Ave.
overall our stay was enjoyable. However, we do have a few concerns on the cleanliness of the house. Here are a few things we noticed:
1. the bed sheets looked clean on a first glance but once you touch them you can tell they had particles of sand from previous tenants on them. We believe these bed sheet were not replaced with new ones before our arrival since non of us went outside close to the beach at all.
2. We saw several spider webs in the corners of the house.
3. The dishwasher in the kitchen had a foul smell when opened.
4. The ceiling in the bedroom next to the entrance leaked water every time someone upstairs used the bathroom shower above the bedroom. We called about that to have emergency maintenance when it first started happening so you may have that issue already recorded.
5. Maintenance crew visited us 2 times during our two nights stay to install an umbrella. Which made us wonder why these visits weren’t confined to 10am- 4 pm slot when people are actually already checked out rather than cause an interruption.
