Our experience was fantastic! First time booking rough Beachfront & Sully takes the cake!! All the staff was super amazing but Sully was our go to she really made us feel at home and took wonderful care of us. We did have an issue and it was addressed in person immediately and we were moved to a new until right away. I believe Robert (??) may have been the property manager who showed up & he’s was fantastic! Beachfront is very quick to respond with any internal issues such as internet, dishwasher so forth and that was really very helpful. The properties are lovely and very well kept. Location is undeniably the best! A huge thank you to everyone at Beachftont especially Sully & management! We will most definitely be back!!

We loved this beach house! It’s right on the water and has a relaxed feel. It’s an older home, but looks like what is portrayed in the pictures. The management company was attentive and responsive when we were looking for fireplace keys, turning on the fire pit, etc. would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed this property very much there was few things we didn't, There is three washers and no dryer, since the weather was humid the bathing suits and the towels will not dry, also If we can recommend some Plastic platers and plates instead of the beautiful large very heavy glass ones that might break. hopefully we can reserve this spot again soon. We loved this place. We will probably return. Lovely property. Almost seems underpriced considering it's on the beach. The only drawback is that the beach isn't very useable during high tide because of the rocks, but is quite a nice beach at low tide. With that said, the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks at high tide is spectacular.
The house itself was nice and functional. Beds were very comfortable. The split levels of the floorplan take some getting used to, but not a big deal. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

It was an amazing location. Right in front of a great surf spot. We loved having BBQ and hanging out right on the turf lawn. Definitely has a beach house smell to it which we were happy to overlook. The team was pretty responsive overall. Would definitely stay here again.

We have been using Beachfront only for years and our stays have always been great. We are a group of women all over 65 and have been making great memories in Oceanside. We did have some issues and have sent an email to management in regards to it, we have not heard back from them. We do understand that this is an older property, but some things are simple fixes that make no sense why they were not done before this property is ever booked. The bigger issue should also have been noticed by the cleaning crew and anyone else that went into this property. I would recommend this property if things are fixed.

Everything was great perfect view. If you have a large SUV it won't fit in the garage but you can park in front of the property. Property just needs a little touch up but I would definitely stay again!!!!

The location right on the beach was wonderful! I will admit I was surprised at the rundown condition of things for the price, which in total averaged $440 a night, after cleaning fees and taxes were added. I tried opening the window in the kitchen and it came apart, many of the electrical outlets don't work, the kitchen cabinets aren't flush and don't close all the way, the glass blocks in the walls are cracked and flooring tiles are broken. BUT...there are so many nice things to say as well! The backyard leading to the ocean is a DREAM. It's beautiful, clean, open, and the large living room / kitchen area is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The TV is huge, and all of the streaming channels were included and free. Anything you could want is stocked in the kitchen and closets (except laundry detergent). The front door lock was easy to use, but there is no light in the door area so it's a little sketchy. And did I mention this place is HUGE? It has 4 large bedrooms, and they are enormous. This is the perfect rental for a large family, but was also perfect for just me. I enjoyed my stay there!

We had a few issues with the front door code locking and unlocking the unit. The code had to be entered a few times to unlock, never opened on the first try. Same with locking the door when leaving. Also the smoke alarms kept beeping... one battery was changed then another failed later the same day with no response from the text message I sent to have the battery changed so I had to pull out the battery. BBQ grill was not working well, hard to light, low flame. Other than those issues the unit was great.

We encountered several issues from the beginning through the end of our stay. The rental service was very attentive to the problems and tried to resolve them all. But not all were resolved. The entire home needs some TLC, but has so much potential to become a beautiful rental.

Oceanside Beauty!

You can't get any closer to the ocean than this

It was great being this close to the ocean. High tide comes right up to the edge of the patio. You have to walk up the street to get onto actual beach, but we didn't care about that, loved sitting on the patio or deck enjoying the surf. The rental was clean and spacious (four bedrooms) but scruffy, as you might expect from a place that's been around for a while. No air conditioning is understandable this close to shore, but the interior has suffered from dampness. A few things were baffling, like lack of ceiling in a bedroom closet with exposed ductwork, insulation, etc., that leaves the space wide open to vermin, though we didn't see any. The fan in one bedroom was so noisy we couldn't operate it at night, which made things uncomfortably warm and sticky even with windows open. There were no outlets in the kitchen for the coffeemaker, toaster, etc., but after texting about it we promptly got a powerstrip. No icemaker. There are two washers inside but dryers are up on a shelf in the small garage, so you have to go outside and into the garage and stand on a step stool to reach them. Bathrooms were clean but evidently haven't been upgraded in years, although placement of big vanities outside two of the bathrooms was helpful. Overall, we're glad we stayed for the ocean but the interior could have been a lot better with some maintenance and upgrades. Note: We didn't see signs about street cleaning and got a $58 ticket one morning for being street-parked.

Easy. Easy check in. Easy to find. Easy access, house had mostly everything. It was very close to restaurants, Access to the beach was not difficult. Very close to the Pier. Bike rides were incredible with the sunset view. Most importantly it was clean. Spotless clean.
Access to the beach was not kid friendly, but still able to enjoy the beach front. Gorgeous view/sunsets. You will need to buy cooking oil/spray. You do share the backyard. But will definitely rent again. Nice decor. Comfortable backyard. Weather was so nice, not having AC was definitely not a problem.

My feelings overall on this rental are mixed. The location right on the water is amazing. There are panoramic views of the ocean from the upper level which are stunning. The unit itself is rundown and in dire need of a deep cleaning. There was an unbearable mildew smell and dampness in the entire house that makes it feel like you're staying in a basement. The washer is rusted and the doors do not open properly. I had to call the management company to let me in while we waited outside since the front door would not open properly. I will say that the management company is very responsive and helpful. The property just needs to be fixed. I would probably rent another unit with Beachfront Only but would not stay in this particular unit again.

I wish I understood it was not the only unit on the property. You can hear the peopl e above you on the 3rd floor. Some amenities are a little worn and it feels like a rental business.

Fantastic Beach Hose

Amazing Location

We had a lovely time at Beckoning Beachfront Duplex! The duplex is much larger then the pictures and descriptions which is so nice. And the view and direct access to the ocean is hands on the best. No streets in front of your ocean view or people looking inside. Very private. We enjoyed our stay and had the best weekend! The property management were extremely helpful and supportive when we needed an emergency location to stay at during a red flag fire warning that kept my family without electricity for days.

Best Vacation Ever

We stayed out of beautiful beach house in Oceanside California. Everything was perfect from all the amenities, silverware, view, betting, toiletries, in basically everything you needed except food. My kids loved waking up and looking at the ocean and playing outside in the Jacuzzi. They loved playing with all the games we made delicious dinners and cupcakes. My daughter said this was her best vacation ever and we have been a lot of places. I'm a nurse fighting on the front line of covid And this was just the break I was looking for. We made so many great memories.

Could Not Have Had A Better Experience

We loved this beach front property. While you weren't able to walk out the door and right on the beach the raised patio deck was tremendous for sitting, relaxing and enjoying the Ocean view. A short walk in either direction out the front door in either direction (right around the corner or down one block) provided easy beach access.
The customer service from Beachfront Only was terrific. We had two minor issues - when we arrived one of the chairs on the deck was broken and the large sliding door was missing a screen. A call to management had the chair replaced in less than an hour and the screen door replaced the next morning. Could not have asked for anything better.
Beds were very comfortable and the overall amenities were excellent. We went out to dinner only two nights - once in Oceanside and once in Carlsbad (just 10 minutes away), the rest of the nights we were having such a wonderful time we elected to stay in and enjoy each others company in this amazing property. Would definitely recommend this place to friends!

Summer vacation

Out of all supplies. Maintenance was still there when we checked in. Garbage outside was already full. The stairs to the beach had a 5ft drop off from the last stair to the sand.
