We had a wonderful time. I sent a list of items that needed to be fixed to the text number I was given. I wish the pillows and linens were higher quality. And that there were bedside laps for reading. I tried to see if the property was available for an early check in and was told I would be charged for that. Seems like an easy thing to do to make a happy customer and was disappointed we couldn’t get in early.

Having it right in the ocean was great. My father, due to the rocks and the misalignment of the steps could not get down to the beach at all. This made us sad. Then the air conditioning being out for two nights and when it came up it was not comfortable; downstairs was an ice box so we turned it off there and then upstairs we couldn't get cool even with the extra fans. We tried grilling and the grill stopped working even though we had new propane. We then tried using the stove which took forever to heat up. After a couple of days we stopped contacting the management company. They are nice and professional but things kept going wrong. Even the water from the fridge was hot. Just crazy. I think this property needs someone to review all the aspects of a stay during the off season. Also the timers are crazy. We constantly had to get up at night to turn items back on because they "timed out". I would not rent this again unless things were fixed. I loved the view, my interaction with the maintenance people, the sleeping and bathroom set up, parking, that we could have our dogs and the checkout is the easiest I have ever encountered. For those reasons I would recommend but add in our experience. Please fix the outlets, fridge, grill, cooling, and, if you can, the beach access. Also, this is for your info only. I was very impressed with the property management support and the cleanliness of the beach house. And, of course, having a front-row seat to the fabulous ocean was priceless. Some of the electrical outlets in the kitchen weren't working. Next time, I would like a house on a sandy beach as the rocks were not good for me (79 years old) or my grandchildren (4 & 5 years old). Great Place for a Girls Trip

My friends and I were impressed. The inside of the house was immaculate. We had a few issues, but the maintenance team responded quickly. The outside deck could\'ve been better, there\'s a little water damage. The jacuzzi made up for the lackluster deck. We are already making plans to return. Check in and check out was easy. The staff was attentive and very friendly. We appreciated the great customer service more than anything else.

I had the pleasure of renting the same house 5 years ago and I see a big difference from then and now. There seems to be some water damage to the outside, most likely because of the climate change (understandable.) However, we were disappointed that we couldn't use the large firepit. It would've been nice to have a heads up that the area was not accessible, because we bought firewood. Also, the cushions on the furniture were badly stained. The should be cleaned or replaced. We were impressed by how great the amenities were inside of the house. But one big issue that we had was with the bathroom downstairs, it wreaked of mildew. Most of us had to go upstairs to use the restroom, which was an inconvenience because the guests were senior citizens. Also, the refrigerator was not cold when we arrived, but the next day it was fine. We had to contact maintenance a couple of times because the garage door would not close. The room with the upstairs fireplace did not have a fireplace key, we had to call maintenance the next day. The upstairs en suite, my room, was very clean. The only issue was the dust on the ceiling came off and onto the bed when I turned it on. Other than the issues that I listed, we had a wonderful time. Our maintenance guy was amazing! I would give the team 10 stars?. They were very attentive and friendly. We are making plans to come back next year. I want to reiterate that we were very happy with the staff, all of the amenities and the cleanliness of the property. Please tell everyone "Thank you!"

We had a fabulous time and the place was immaculate with fantastic views! Only incident was a mouse or rat that ate some of our bread packages on the kitchen counter. We did see a rat outside by the bbq’r that ran down the rocks. Maintenance came immediately and placed traps in the kitchen area where the bread was eaten. I greatly appreciated the trash pick up so we didn’t have a full bin! Overall, a fabulous vacation and will use Beachfront Only again!!

Clean with Direct Access to the Beach

Property is very clean, which is huge for me. Some things are dated like bathrooms and kitchen, but I guess the focus is the view. Only problems were no working ice maker and they gave us 2 bags of ice in the freezer which was plenty and the hot tub didn't heat up until after the second night. I guess it just takes awhile? They came out and it finally was over 100 degrees on the second day, just before we left. We stayed 3 nights so couldn't really use until the last day as the weather was cool/windy. The stairs to the beach have been swept away from the staircase at the bottom (the last 4 stairs). We were still able to use with caution.

We had a great stay with our large family. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone. The biggest issue we had was deciding who got which room! Surprisingly, the beach access next to us was not an issue at all. Even during the holiday weekend, it was very pleasant place to stay.

We first stayed here in October of 2020. This was our second visit within a year. The house has been remodeled nicely. We were very grateful for the midweek cleaning of the hot tub. I planned on using the second oven that I remembered from our first visit one night when I was feeding eleven people. Unfortunately it had been removed during the remodel. There are a few rough edges such as no ice making capability, wine cooler not functioning and the fan in the upstairs master bath not working. Then there was the brown sludge from the nearby creek that moved bacteria along our section of beach. That was no one's fault, just a bit of a nuisance for a few days.

Great Family Vacation Spot

We stayed here for a week with our extended family and had a lovely time in this home. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. We were concerned with how much sand there would actually be during our stay, as some of the photos show a lot of rocks/stones along the beach. We were glad that during the early morning hours, there was a lot of sand while the tide was low. There is a small access gate on the side of the property which allows for easier access and we were able to walk a few houses down for more sand when the tide was a little higher in the afternoon.

There is a small park just a quick walk down the street which was nice to take the little kids to during the day as well.

Our family has a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed Greatly By All!

We arrived to find the house in excellent condition. Everyone was very pleased with both the accommodations and the location. Our family of eight enjoyed being outside on the backyard deck--so close to the beach and ocean! There was plenty of all we needed in all rooms and especially in the kitchen. Parking for all four vehicles was also appreciated. The accommodations were just right for my wife and me,our two daughters, sons-in-law and two adult grandsons--comfortable and clean. We were unanimous in wanting to stay there again. Highly recommended!

Fabulous Wine Tribe Weekend

What an amazing girls weekend! Pulling into the driveway, we just knew we were home for the weekend. The house was gorgeous and spotless. All windows and doors on the 1st floor were vanishing so we could bring the outside in. The rooms were spacious and well designed. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The view was to die for so we spent most of our time on the back patio enjoying the hot tub, fire bowl and the ocean breezes. The patio chairs in my opinion need to be replaced as the seats were falling apart probably from the sea air. Property management was quick to respond to the couple of issues that presented themselves, none of which needed to be immediately addressed. All 8 of us were sad to go and everyone would love to come back for another stay...... or permanently move in!

The property is beautiful! The location is amazing! The size of the property is perfect for a large group. I was disappointed because we had hoped to use the hot tub and it was not working. The maintenance team did come to the property to look at the hot tub but the water did not get hot in 2 days.

Great place for a large family to rendezvous

Lots of beds, including bunk beds not shown in photos. The dining and living area are relatively small compared to the sleeping capacity and the couch and chairs are not very comfortable. During our stay, the weather was not good for a couple of days so we stayed inside where the space/comfort was not ideal. When the weather was nice we naturally spread out to the patio and beach.

The kitchen appliances look pretty new and worked well. However, the flooring is worn out and not very attractive. The cabinetry and bathrooms are outdated. Overall, the house is functional but if luxury is on your list you should look for another house. On the other hand, if you are looking for a "base camp" and plan on spending your time in the sun, this could work.

Regardless of property, BeachFront Only has been great. They have been very responsive and professional to every inquiry, prior to and during our stays. This was the third property we have rented through them this year!

Wonderful get away with a great location.

The home is in a perfect location on the beach. The home was very clean. The kitchen is a little small for a large group but was well stocked. The floors on the main floor are pretty worn with obvious damage but otherwise everything was in good condition. The management company came right out when the wifi wouldn’t work (we had college kids that had tests to take) and got it working again. The hot tub was wonderful and the kids all enjoyed relaxing in it after boogie boarding. We definitely enjoyed our relaxing stay and would come back again.

Beachfront Family Home

The house was nice with a beautiful view from master bedroom. The stairs leading down to the beach was steep with no rail. Also because being next to the public access area random children and adults kept coming up to our private seating area. People also blocked the area leading down to the beach so you could not use the stairs to get to the beach. Was instructed to contacted police but they never showed up.

This house was great for our vacation, and the location is just as described. However, we realized the oven didn't work, which was a problem since we were quarantining with two elderly compromised people, and had brought the food for all of our meals. We called the management company, and they sent two men over. One came in the house without a mask on, and we had to ask him to leave. They later returned with a toaster oven. We lost some food we had purchased because the oven was not fixed or replaced during our stay, but we were much more upset about the serviceman who was not wearing a mask despite the company's policy and local mandate. When I called and emailed the company to discuss with a manager, I never received a call back.

Great for a family & dog friendly

The location of this rental was right on the beach. You can hear the waves crashing every second of the day. Our family enjoyed having dinners on the patio and enjoyed the hot tub. There was adequate towels and shampoo and conditioner along with body wash. The internet worked great for all the devices. We had several of our kids that had to work remotely and we had no interruption. Having the Buccaneer cafe just a short walk from the house was great. If we were sick of our morning coffee or wanted a snack it was right there. The property management company was very responsive and the home was cleaned very well. The driveway parking was a huge plus along with having two washers and dryers. The home had ample room for our family of seven to sleep and have their own privacy. The home has a great layout and was very functional for our vacation. The photos of this home are accurate however some of the cabinets need maintenance as they are loose and are hard to open. The dishwasher is functional, however very very old. The wine fridge is rusty and needs replacement. The fridge needs some repair and the water filters need replacement. The home could use a little face lift. The location of this home is about 1.4 miles from Oceanside pier and 1.5 miles from Carlsbad. We did love that it was dog friendly. The barbecue needs to be replaced as half the burners were not functional. When renting this home you do need to be aware the beach is very rocky, and it sides on a side where people walk the path to the beach. We were awakened daily with people collecting buckets of rocks. We did enjoy watching the surfers every morning and evening. We will definitely rent from this property management company again as they are friendly and professional.

Perfect Family vacation on the Sand

This beach home was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. House is just steps away to the water. A true dream waking up to hear the ocean crashing up against the rocks. The home has plenty of space for a large family. Our favorite thing about this home was the Natural burning wood fire pit that Oversees the ocean. Only challenge we had during our stay was the jacuzzi malfunctioned, took maintenance almost five hours to arrive.

Amazing Ocean Front Spot

We had an amazing stay. The house was cleaned and sanitized within the CDC requirements. The ocean front location made it very special, even though the beach was closed. The hot tube on the back patio gave a perfect spot to hear the waves and watch incredible sunsets. The team at beachfront only vacation rentals was on top of everything, from disinfecting the house, to online reservations and keyless entry and departure. Definitely a place we will rent again.

Fun in the sun

Our vacation rental was in a perfect location, oceanfront. We relaxed all day on the patio and the kids had a blast playing in the sand and water. Meals were easy to prepare, the rental had all the cooking utensils and gadgets needed. The house was comfortable and although we had a large group we never felt cramped. I can’t wait to stay again.

Lovely Rental

Overall this rental was a great stay! The location absolutely cannot be beat and the house has so many wonderful spaces to hang out with friends and chat. The bedrooms were also lovely with comfortable beds and we appreciated the beach towels and kitchen ware provided.

The internet was not very fast and a little spotty, and cell phone signal int his area is also a bit poor. It's also important to note that the thermostat and lights are on timers that only go up to 4 hours, making it so someone had to wake up in the middle of the night to turn the AC back on or you'd roast in the upstairs bedrooms, this was our biggest gripe.

That aside, this was a wonderful location, a lovely house and easy to check in and out of. Timers aside, totally worth renting.

Family Staycation

I love working with Beachfront Home...always so efficient. We have used them for several vacations and love their customer service. The place we rented is starting to show a lot of wear (flooring, etc) and the garage refrigerator did not keep our drinks cold but the freezer worked well. They have changed the layout of an upstairs bathroom making it much more accommodating for this particular property. We will definitely come back. We loved the location. This allowed our family to have a wonderful time staying "together".

The location of the property was great. Overall, the property was good. Seventeen of us traveled from Colorado by plane and were disappointed that the property did not provide items such as boogey boards, beach chairs, sand toys etc, which we obviously could not bring. Several of the other rental properties near by provided such items for their guests and were so fun for the children since the house is right on the beach. We ended up having to purchase these items. Also the information about the property stated that it would accommodate well over the 17 guests, which we had, but unfortunately we only had 12 forks, which made it quite a challenge at meal times.The kitchen overall all was minimally equipped for preparing meals for a large number of people. Lastly, there was a hose on the outside patio, but the knob to turn on the water had been removed, so we were unable to wash off the sand after spending time on the beach, causing the house to be very sandy and difficult to keep comfortably clean.

Our team is constantly available to deliver any missing items or address cleaning issues. Our owner's insurance companies will not allow them to provide boogie boards, etc due to the liability if one was to become injured using these items. We provide a tub of water for our guests to use to rinse their feet, homeowners have been fined for guests leaving water on. Great for family reunion!

The house has sleeping spaces everywhere. Older home but very clean and nicely decorated. Great play area both in front of the home and to the side for the kids to run from the waves and play in the sand. We had a great time. Only complaint was the BBQ grill was too small but we made it work. Extra refrigerator in the garage was an added plus! Small plumbing issue that was probably partially my fault but they were out to fix it within a half hour or less. Very impressed! Can't wait to go again!!

Awesome Beach House

This beach house is awesome! The location is perfect. There was a nice surf spot right in front of the house. The beach area varied with the tide.
The outside patio has lounge chairs and a huge table are so comfortable and there is a lot of space. The grill and fire pits were an added bonus. We sat outside with the gas fire pit and the wood burning firepit. The living room is spacious and the TV is great too. /the kitchen is good with a large refrigerator and wine cooler. The bedrooms were all spacious with comfortable beds. The view from two of the bedrooms is amazing. The other rooms have balconies that are furnished and all have a great view. The house was extremely clean. They have towels and bedding for all the beds in the house. The garage is large and it was big enough for my Jeep and 10 surfboards. The directions for using everything at the house were detailed and perfect. We rented this house for a special event. My boyfriend and I got married on the beach and we had a few friends over to celebrate with us. The neighbors were very friendly. There is a cute little coffee place just down the street. There was plenty of parking. The property management team was so friendly and helpful. The responded quickly to all my inquiries prior to renting. I will definitely rent this awesome Beach House again.

Amazing View

Was there with family and friends (including children) for the weekend. The home is a bit older, but clean and we had everything we needed there. You can't beat having the beach as your backyard and waking up to the breathtaking view. Home is situated at a perfect location and great size for big groups. Wonderful family gathering

This beach house is in a beautiful spot on the beach! There were rocks but when the tide was out it was wonderful for the kids to play on The gently sloping beach. The outdoor fire pit came in handy for cooler weather and the i door fireplace as well. The beds were very comfortable although the rooms were set up a little different the accommodations are great! I would suggest though bringing your own kitchen food storage items as they suggested....none to be found. A lovely place to stay for sure!!

Great spacious vacation home..

The home was great and had everything needed to enjoy the home. The location on the beach is priceless. There are many restaurants nearby as well. The property management company is very professional. The towels provided were plentiful and like new. I would highly recommend. The only thing missing was a Jacuzzi which would make this house perfect.

Spectacular Views

The home is older and could use some tender loving care. It is right on the beach which is what you are paying for. The house it’s self is kind of quirky. One bedroom down stairs. No on suite. You have to go past the kitchen oven to get to the bathroom. It’s the only bathroom downstairs. Then upstairs you have a master with a fabulous view of the ocean. The downstairs bedroom and the master don’t have closets, only cabinets. The master has a bathroom, but it’s shared with two other bedrooms. Anyway, the location to town is not walkable to restaurants and shops. So you drive to most everything. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean, but it has cracks, and broken tiles.....We had to call management several times due to not knowing how to turn the tv on, the heat, replace batteries in smoke alarms. They said there are sheets with directions, which didn’t exist. But they did show up right away, so we weren’t left waiting.

An amazing retreat location!

I came here with some leaders from my church's college ministry for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house! The house was spacious and had more than enough room for 11 grown men. We were able to conduct meetings in the living area comfortably. The house was very clean upon arrival. And you can't beat the location! Good Times

Overall, we really enjoyed our time at the beach house. The location was very good and great access to the beach. Other homes on the sand lose their beach access during the high tides but this home still maintained access to the sand, which was great for the young kids. The floor plan upstairs is a little odd and the interior of the home is out dated, but not a big deal when you're in board shorts all week.

Right on the Beach!

We had four goals for picking a rental property: 1)We wanted to be right on a beach that had sand where we could body surf, sunbath, etc. 2) We wanted to be able to bring our dogs 3) It had to be a single family home large enough to comfortably hold our group of 11, and 4) It had to be very clean. This property fit all of our qualifications and then some! We loved walking the dogs to the Buccaneer Cafe for coffee and breakfast in the morning, and we had lunch and dinner at Hello Betty Fish House - delicious! The Management was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely family vacation spot!

We loved our stay here. The property is beautiful and plenty of space for our large family. The kids had a blast playing in the sand and water. Many dolphins were spotted in the evening and the fire pit was a nice touch. My only complaints is that the grille takes a very long time to work and the check in-check out process is 4 pm and 10 am so you basically lose two days, which I believe we paid for? Other than that this is a fantastic property!

Perfect place for family reunion

Our family of 12: parents, 2 children and spouses, and 6 grandchildren ages 9 to 2, spent almost a week here and had a blast! The 3 king bedrooms were great as each couple had a big bed in a big room. The bunk room with 2 sets of double bed bunks was perfect for 5 of the 6 grandkids and the 2 year old slept on a cot, one of 3 available. That left 2 extra sleeping spaces if needed...maybe our exchange student and family will join next year! The house has steps that go to the street to cross! At high tide, the water is partway up the steps and at low we have a small beach, but perfect for us. Easy to walk to several other bigger, sandier beaches.This place has everything we wanted! Property managers were friendly and communicative. I have nothing negative to say! Well...ocean temp was cold...but refreshing!

Great Location and setup

My family and I (7 adults, 2 kids) had a great time at this beach house. It was even better than anticipated in many ways. We did experience a few issues (no bottle opener; no bbq lighter; the bbq didn't work; the phones had difficulties; the outside gas fireplace didn't work) but the staff was very kind and helpful and were quick to fix most of the problems. We would think about staying there again.

The perfect family vacation rental!!!!

Our family enjoyed the luxury of this 5 bedroom 4 bath beachfront home in Oceanside. There was plenty of room for all of us... 8 adults and 4 children. We could all be together in the family room dining area whiere we enjoyed having meals together. we also loved the quiet corners and balconies to just be with the ocean waves. Being right on the beach was the best and we loved having a BBQ and a fire pit. The management made it super easy to access the beach house and the was even room and the garages and driveway for all 4 cars we had rented. We will stay at this perfect rental again!!!

Perfect Beachfront retreat

Great communication from renter and house immaculate. Comfortable furniture and all well stocked. 4 full bedrooms and a small room with double trundle bed. Separate mattress on platform off the master bath (with oceanfront window). Nice open living space downstairs connected to kitchen. Great outdoor beck with BBQ, gas fire pit and chairs/chaises. Small beach sand area with wood burning fire pit. Boulders separate property from the beach, but easy access with cement stairs. 2 relatively small garage spaces (beware low overhead on north spot). The beach is excellent for surfing or water play (you are your own lifeguard). You on a stretch of 5miles of beach, so great for walks, etc. beds were very comfortable (at least the regular beds). It was pleasure to combine 2 families and our dogs for a weekend. I highly recommend this place

Great Celebration!!!

Perfect! We celebrated Mothers Day, An Anniversary and my 70th Birthday. What a perfect place to unwind and enjoy! It exceeded our expectations. The sand area behind the rock wall was place great for the 6 kids to play while the 7 adults relaxed on the patio. One bedroom (mine) down stars was also perfect. Amazing House!

What a great place to stay! Beautiful house in a wonderful area. Other than some issues with the refrigerator and 1 dryer not working, we had no problems at all. There were 11 of us staying in the house, but had other family members join us off and on during the day - and there was plenty of room for everyone. The description says there is air conditioning, but we never needed it (or saw the control for it) because the breeze from the ocean kept the house cool, even during the day. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for an exceptional place to stay.

Oceanside beachfront home

It is a beautiful house, good location.
I don't used all the beds, but some of the beds are dirty.
There are a phone # in the email, I called couple time, no one pickup the phone.
The house is very nice, but don't have enough bed sheets, pillows, blanks for all beds. and no hair dry.
One funny thing is one of the bed is next to the shower, and it get wet after we took a shower.
Over all the house is beautiful and we have a good time.

Amazing house and Perfect location

We rented the house with two other families for spring break and it fit us perfectly. The house has king beds in each room with private bathrooms. Great Weekend!

We met with friends for a birthday weekend. What a great weekend it was! When they say beachside they mean it, the water comes right up to the rocks at high tide. The house was in great shape when we got there, and had everything we needed for the stay. I have zero complaints. It was just what we were looking for. The property was better than we expected. It is a great location just paces from the ocean's edge. The beds were very comfortable, it was spacious for our large group. Amazing place right on the beach

This place is beautiful, the house is well maintained, it is located directly on the beach and we seen dolphins and whales about every morning which was amazing. We have 3 small kids (1-4 years old) and it was great to be that close to the beach so we could take them down there and not have to pack bags for a full day. I would definitely recommend this place (especially for families), doesn't get much better than this.

Amazing

Beautiful, well kept home. There was plenty of room for the 10 of us. Everyone got their own room, and all of the bathrooms was a plus. It really does save money in the long run to eat at the beach house and enjoy the incredible view of the ocean, and the sound of the waves can't be beat. The fire pit was a great plus to roast marshmallows etc. Just a great vacation overall!

Great Family Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beachfront home. It was Very Clean and had extra Tp and Paper towels. We just read what to bring and thats just what we needed. They do listen to the reviews because now the Kitchen is stocked full of many spices. The location is nice right next to the beach access so you only have neighbors on one side. There is a park a few blocks away to take the kidos to and the pier is a nice walk away. There is a nice big fridge and 2 washers and dryers to do loads during your stay. It was also so nice to have the turn down service. When we left we didn't have to do any sheets or towels. That was nice. And yes, getting out by 10am is hard but with a plan and everyone chipping in its very doable. We will deffinetly rent from Beachfront rentals only again.

Great getaway home

We had a great stay, The private bathrooms for three of the bedrooms was really nice. I only wish there were steps straight down to the water from the back patio. And a propane grill would have been nice as it was a pain to run to the store three times for more charcoal. Be aware there are No extras in the way of water toys, beach umbrellas etc. You have to drag it all down with you. But for the most part it was really nice and a great vacation home. The location and the beach are great.

It was spacious, the view was superb and it included every amenity to suit our family. We will definitely be returning. This is our new spot for future vacations.

Beach Retreat

I rented this property from a Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon for my 50th Birthday celebration, which included several of my closest friends. The location and views are outstanding. The house is the perfect set up for a weekend gathering - plenty of bedrooms, well-stocked kitchen, wine fridge, very open and spacious and you can't beat being right on the beach. The fire pit was an awesome add. We were literally lulled to sleep every night by, and woke in the morning to, the sound of the ocean. The contacts for the property were very professional and helpful. The only downside is a 10am check out, which can be extended for a cost. It would be nice if the property managers could be flexible in that respect. However, that didn't detract from what was a lovely vacation away from home - at home.

Oceanside Beachfront

accommodated all my family with ease. Kitchen and baths stocked very well. Property management was very helpful. The house was right on the beach and very nice. Little pricy, but overall a great experience for a large family reunion. walking and bike riding distance to Pier and shops in Oceanside and Carlsbad.

We took our children and grandchildren to the beach at Oceanside CA and stayed in a really nice large beachfront home. Great location, very nice property and professional and attentive staff at Beachfront Only Rentals. It was everything we expected and was so easy to set up and enjoy. We would use them again.5

No GARAGE access! Car broken into while we were there!

The home was beautiful, but rushed to put on the market. Nail holes in bathroom wall downstairs hadn't been filled. We weren't allowed garage access and not offered a deduction with NO ACCESS to the garage. Initially we were told we could use it for out bikes, but on arriving the door was locked and taped shut.

We are very sorry for any inconveniences that you experienced due to the garage being closed. The garage had just been resurfaced and was locked so that people would not walk on it. Our technician came down within the hour to open the garage for your bikes. We have patched all of the nail holes. We hope you enjoyed the property otherwise. ~The Team at Beachfront Only
