Inside, the open living area features large windows overlooking the Pacific, a
comfortable queen sleeper sofa, and a smart TV for cozy movie nights. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to cook and dine at home, with modern appliances, plenty of counter space, and a dining area that looks out toward the sea.
The primary bedroom offers a plush king bed, while the second bedroom includes a full
bunk bed—ideal for kids or extra guests. The shared bathroom is updated and well appointed, and wall A/C keeps the space cool on warmer days. Parking is available in the covered carport (first-come basis) with additional street parking available if all are taken, and guests have access to shared laundry facilities during their stay.
Step outside to your private oceanfront balcony, where you can relax in the sea breeze, grill dinner on the shared BBQ, or watch the sun set over the water. The direct beach access through the rock barrier provides easy access for walks along the shore.

All homes in Oceanside, CA sit behind a rock barrier protecting the homes from storm surges. The amount of sand beyond the rock barrier varies quickly with storms and tides and may have more or less sand than what is shown in the photos.
For your convenience, we provide a starter kit of essential items to get your stay off to a comfortable start. This includes a small supply of dishwashing pods, laundry pods, paper towels, tissues and toilet paper. Please note that these items are provided as a courtesy and are not intended to last for the entire duration of your stay. Guests may wish to bring or purchase additional supplies as needed.

I started coming to this property as a teenager in the late 90's/early 2000's before Beachfront took over management. Our family eventually outgrew the unit we rented so we booked different homes along the beach from the pier down to Carlsbad. Now that I am an adult with my own children, we decided to return to this property and have booked it several times over the last couple of years. There have been obvious improvements to the overall aesthetic and it is also easier to get support from Beachfront Only through the texting. This method of communication was very convenient for us and with quick response time. We noticed the added touch of coffee and treats upon arrival, our two young daughters were quick to take notice as well. Thank you!

I had such a wonderful time in the comfortable accommodations! There were a couple of window and door screens that Need some attention, but I pointed those out already in interacting with the property manager. Also a couple outlet covers that were broken or in need of some resetting were small things I noticed. But what a great place!

Walking barefoot could feel some sand on the floors but almost understood living on the beach. Slight sewer smell and noticed some markings on restroom ceiling other than that what a great place to be...

It was fantastic. Great fishing right out the back. Very comfortable bed and it was everything we wanted it to be and more. Pictures don’t do it justice. Only real issue was just one bath and the smell of the sewer. Overall we had a great time and it was worth way more than we paid. Thank you so much for the great place!

We have been coming to this property since the early 2000\'s, before Beachfront Only took over. It is now easier to book reservations and communicate needs during the stay. There are; however, some things that have been issues in recent stays. Prior to booking this reservation, I sent an email with various concerns, hoping that they would (mostly) be resolved by the time our trip came. There was sand in the king bed upon arrival, compromising the confidence in the basic cleaning procedures. This made us question if the sheets were changed from the prior guests. Fortunately, this was not an issue during this stay but did occur a few months ago when we were visiting. The shower drain had a foul smelling coming from it and the team said the drains were being treated. The smell still existed during this last stay. The ocean facing patio light was not working previously, causing me to fall. Beachfront stated that it was working during their inspection; however, it was again not working during this stay. The team also ensured there was a drip mat on the floor to absorb water from the kitchen and dishwasher; however, there was still not kitchen floor mat. There was a request to have the broken microwave replaced to eliminate the second working microwave being placed on the small counter, thus eliminating prep space. This did not get addressed in between stays. The other issues were either explained/apologized for or resolved. We love this location and amenities - like washer and dryer - but its unfortunate to encounter the same issues considering the cost. We also appreciate the prompt communication over text.

Can\'t beat the location. Ocean front condos. Unit itself was very clean. We did have an issue with the microwave but the response was very quick and resolving the issue. In our unit the ice machine and filtered water from the refrigerator was not connected but they did provide an ice machine unit on the counter. There is no sandy beach to walk on but that didn\'t bother us as we weren\'t going into the water anyway. Just about a block away there was a sandy beach. Just a few blocks to restaurants was very convenient. Would come back here in a heartbeat

Very nice place, right on the water, and right next to the Bucaneer Park Cafe, which has the best breakfast tacos ever. House is a bit old and the pet deposit is crazy expensive, but it is right on the water, and the management company is quick to answer any questions, or help in any way.

we had perfect weather and the location was great. My only suggestion would be to check the deck rail and stairs as the railing seems to be leaning forward and the stairs down to the first level are also crooked. In the bathroom, the top to the shampoo and conditioner had mold on it and smelled like bleach when it came out of the dispenser. Furniture and all kitchen supplies were great. Plenty of room for us. We had a blast. The only drawback was the beach -- the rock makes it pretty difficult to get down, and stepping on the smaller stones hurt a lot, and it was generally only workable during lower tides. Obviously there's not much you can do about that, though.

The cleaning crew did an excellent job. Not a speck of sand on the freshly cleaned floors. The furniture was comfortable, clean, and beach appropriate. The amenities were mostly well stocked, although I would have preferred coffee pods instead of spices which tend to get a bit yucky in the humidity. It was clear that it was newly renovated which was very refreshing, although some details seemed to get missed (caulk, paint touch ups, and overall attention to detail). And there were some noticeable areas that might be typical for beach property maintenance (rusted closet tracks, rusty/sticky screen door tracks, etc.) which I didn’t really mind because the location makes up for it. The planter under the balcony could use some clean up. The grassy patch there was a very useful spot for my dog to use because I wanted to keep her from using the sand as much possible out of respect for others and children in the sand. We left the place immaculate and I would have appreciated a refundable deposit option for considerate guests like us (although I realize most probably are not). I did already provide feedback regarding total lack of insulation between floors. I would highly recommend at minimum a no shoe policy for upstairs guests to consider because it was a noticeable reduction in noise without shoes. I also reported some plumbing inconsistencies with water pressure which I did not need solved for myself but should be investigated for future guests. I suspect plumbing was not updated as part of the remodel and water pressure is extremely low either during peak city usage times, or when other units/areas are using water at the same time on the property (laundry, outdoor shower, other?). When this happens, the shower water turns into a trickle and just decided not to wait which was fine for me since I was not in a hurry. A plumber can easily troubleshoot. Staff at Beachfront was very friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. All in all, we had a good stay and would love to come back. Thank you for having us. Steffani and Sadie

The overall stay was good! There is a few recommendations for the condo. The air conditioning unit in the master bedroom is LOUD and needs to be replaced. Also, the shower water pressure is horrible, which makes for longer showers.
There was a soccer team that booked unit 4 and they had a lot of people there with cars and teenagers going in and out. Strong smell of marijuana any time they were there. Not sure if u guys were aware.
Was a good stay just a few little hurdles.

The location was fantastic and just as described. The house had many updates and you can tell that someone took care of providing nice amenities. The only downside was it was not as clean as it could have been. We opened the sofa bed and there was popcorn in it from the previous visitor and the tables needed to be dusted. I would still recommend this place as the staff was fantastic and we had a nice stay overall.

Your staff is exceptional! We were not told that renovations were ongoing. Power tools and hammering were not what we were looking for, although they were minimal. The yard was not cleaned up. Planters had chipped paint and other debri. Construction trash on rooftops that were our view. Thick dust greeted us at our front door. Inside was nice except for missing door trim, painters tape on wall, filthy medicine cabinet and baseboards in bathroom. I would try another property or this one when it is complete, simply because your customer service is awesome. The renovations are very nice, just didn't know that we would be in the middle of them.

We had a fabulous time at the cottage. When we arrived, we were greeted from a member of your team. The house was clean and had peeve of room. When we couldn\'t figure how to turn in our little fire pit, they were quick to respond. Walking distance everywhere. Our only complaint were the stairs heading down to the beach. There was no railing to hold on to, making it very dangerous. So we didn\'t we even attempt it. We walked down a mile to get into the water. And the early check in was a little pricey. Other than that, it was perfect. Thank you for a fabulous stay. I would definitely return.

The condo was lovely, we spent every night sitting outside on the balcony using the fireplace. The house was wonderful, updated and cozy. The only drawback were the stairs leading down to the beach. It needs a railing to hold on to while going down to the beach, a little too treacherous to attempt the trek. The company was great, they greeted us when we arrived and responded quickly when we had trouble lighting the fireplace. Used the fire pit every evening. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is the second time we have visited this property and we loved it just as much as the first time. The 2 bedroom unit was very comfortable and lots of room. We loved the balcony and stairs out to the sandy patio. Loved that they had an ice machine this year. And upgraded washer and dryer that we didn't have to pay to do laundry. Thanks The only thing I would have liked a heads up on was that there wasn't beach access this year due to the ocean changes. But still it was beautiful and we will return.

Beautiful Ocean Views

I think I got incredibly lucky finding this rental. The description of property, the ocean views, Simi private beach, amenities was exactly what we got. Our unit was immaculately clean which made our stay even more comfortable. The only hiccup we encountered was with Wifi service on our arrival day. Management responded promptly and WiFi was up within minutes. We also didn't have a problem with parking. Even though there are 5 units and only 3 available parking spaces, we didn't have a problem getting an open spot when we took a drive to restaurant and came back. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back!

The house was clean and location on oceanfront was nice. The towels and blankets sealed so you know they are clean. House is a tad bit run down and could use some TLC. But overall on our budget it was fine. Again the oceanfront was to us. FYI the coil washer and dryer have not worked in a while. I did ask about it and received no reply.Otherwise overall I was happy

GREAT location

Beachfront Only is a great management company. Their rentals are always well-stocked and comfortable. This place reminded me why I like to rent from them. The condo has all the right touches. We used the heater every night and everything in the kitchen. i love that we can see the beach from the porch and that we had our own beach area. There was a little gas firepit on the porch that we also loved. It was just enough heat to make it comfortable to sit on the porch and enjoy the morning or evening. I knew we would have to share our beach area with other tenants, I just didn't know how much I would not enjoy that. It was fine, but it's kind of a small area and it shares with 3 other renting groups. In the future I will try to rent one with it's own area. Also, if you're renting this unit, keep in mind that there will be a renter above you and you can hear EVERY move they make. That said, I will definitely rent from Beachfront again.
