This was my first time for Oceanside and I can guarantee you I will be back . me and my two girlfriends were celebrating a retirement so perfect. This condo was so perfect seeing the ocean Loved the balcony even got to see some dolphins swimming by I will rent this place again. I can’t wait to next trip.

Great Stay in Oceanside

Our family had a great vacation in Oceanside. The unit was nice but we couldn’t get out into the beach from the house. We did have to walk down towards the park to find a location that the water receded enough to get into the ocean safely. The property owners were very prompt to respond to our questions. I liked having door codes for easy access to the property. The ability to use the circuit app to get rides around Oceanside and leave the car parked was very convenient! We also saw dolphins riding the waves with the surfers. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful Location

This is the fourth vacation home we’ve rented from Beachfront Only, each had their own positives and negatives. This location by far (south O’Side) I liked the best, and had tons of street parking. Not having a garage is fine, as the prior ones with them are just as small as a car port and easier to not deal with a door. We saw tons of surfers each day, unlike the other spots northern. Dolphins and whale shots of water can be seen, like the other locations, but feels more private here. I felt the furniture needed replacement, not like the prior rentals we had. The couch was overly worn, smelled, barstools wobbly and felt like they were going to break. Outside could use another table or a second chair. One window was missing a screen, another bent so bad it kept falling out, and the front door deadbolt/slide lock would never work as it could not fit that setup. These were all minor for us and we didn’t raise any as issues, only sent as feedback after leaving. Also, the main bedroom does not have an AC unit, so be aware you’d want the window cracked for air. Definitely recommend, just be aware of the minor things I mentioned. Would stay again with the same conditions.

A little heavy on the bleach when cleaning the fridge, every time I opened it the smell was overpowering. Also, not sure what the oven was cleaned with, but when I used it, there was a very strange smell and some smoke off the window in the oven door. I loved sitting on the balcony, but had to come inside when the sun was over head because there was no umbrella…that would have made the stay perfect. The overhang doesn’t shade the balcony for most of the day, and I am very fair skinned so I try not to spend too much time in direct sunlight. I usually stay in unit 1 of this same complex, but enjoyed this unit so much more, and look forward to my next stay!

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay with our family. The view was unbeatable. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and conveniently placed a bucket of water outside the front door to wash our feet. The hosts were quick to respond and extremely accommodating. Our children had a lovely time. All other guests were friendly and respectful. We especially loved the gas fireplace on the deck and enjoyed “s’mores by the sea.” We will be back! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing waves

We spent every meal and much time sitting on the deck, listening to the waves and watching the pelicans and surfers. It was lovely. The suite was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bunk bed has a little space between the lower and upper beds so it’s a bit tricky getting in, but worked fine for our lIttle one. The kitchen is stocked with some spices you can walk from the condo to a beach side Café a few minutes away, the main commercial strip is more of a 20 minute walk. It was all lovely and we really enjoyed our time.

We loved our stay! It was wonderful. Great views, great ocean breezes thru out the whole house. My grandsons had bunk beds which they loved. They were able to boogie board and swim. I liked having coffee out on the deck watching all the morning surfers. Boys were in school except weekends. My daughter had to work some while I was there. I have come down often and always stay at the beach. From now on I will only go thru Beachfront Only! Nice staff, very accomodating and helpful. These people are very right on lol... We stayed for a couple of weeks. Hard for me to go home up north.

The view!!!

The view from this apartment are amazing. It's a cute apartment with everything you need for your stay. We love eating outside on the balcony and enjoying the view. This is the second year we have stayed here and can't wait to do it again.
The only thing that was wrong was the gate to the parking lot was broken so it didn't seem as secure this time. I would also recommend a TV for the master bedroom and kids room. You will not be disappointed with this apartment.

Oceanside beach front condo

The view was very beautiful. The sound of the ocean was wonderful . And if you wish could be heard through the night. The staff was very helpful, kind, and professional. The only thing I think they could do better is unstack the bunk beds and show that bedroom in the ad. No ladder so it is asking for an accident. And maybe make the condo a little cleaner. Two sets of grandmas and grandpas vacation in Oceanside

Two sets of grandmas and grandpas (two sisters and their husbands) vacation in Oceanside - one set takes the bedroom with a view to the ocean and one set takes the room with no view and a bunk bed. Both sets of grandparents are near or above 80 years old, which was disclosed on the forms that were filled out prior to the trip. The bunk bed definately did not work out. One grandparent could not get up to the top bunk and the bed on top was too low to the bottom bed to be able to get in and out of the bottom bed easily. It is actually not possible to enter the ocean from the property as there are big wet rocks in the way, so all that was able to be done was to listen to the waves. The property needs updating and even though it is a rental, anyone who can afford to pay the rental rate is accustomed to more updated living conditions. Most of the interior and exterior wood is rotted or damaged. When in the lower bed of the bunk, one sees soo much sap coming out of the wood frame of the top bed that it is disgusting.

Unit was exactly like described online. Worked perfect for our graduation dinner. Would definitely stay there again. Don’t love the idea of sharing patio but this unit has its own very large balcony. Few recommendations for improvement would be taller stools on balcony to see over the blocked railing. Another few chairs in living space and showers had almost NO water pressure. Very hard to wash hair.

Amazing Oceanfront Deck

We stayed in this property in late April 2021. The location is unbelievable...right on the beach. We loved sitting on the large deck watching the sunset every night. The crashing waves were the perfect soundtrack. We required a dog friendly property, and this fit perfectly. The property is very clean and overall in very good condition. The furnishings are not “5 star“, but overall very nice. This is reflected in the price...overall a very good value. We were completely satisfied with the property and the price (We travel extensively, and stay almost exclusively at oceanfront properties). Very well stocked kitchen. Management was very responsive. On-site washer and dryer worked perfectly. Oceanside itself is in a renaissance....lots of new restaurants. Carlsbad Village is less than a 10 minute drive. We will be back next year!!

Beautiful Views!

We enjoyed our stay at your property. The views were amazing. We did have a need to reach out for more propane for the heater outside. Within a short time, we had a fresh propane delivered and installed. Thank you.

The only negative I would share is the mildew/mold smell in the bathrooms. We opened the back door which helped. You probably have or had a water leak that needs to be addressed.

Good Basic place next to the ocean.

I spent 5 days at this rental with my family. It was a great location. As far of the place, I was a little disappointed of few things. Place doesn't look as it does in the website and it's smaller and older than what I thought. Bathrooms are very small, basically, they divided one in two. Place did not meet my expectation about cleanliness. We found some bugs inside, millipede in one of the showers and head lice. Please inspect the place well before you put your heads on any pillow.

This was outstanding this was the first time we ever rented a beach condo. My husband got it for my 40th birthday. We had a huge private patio with a grill and great view of the ocean. Great Location But Older Property

Location is very good. Not too close to congested public beaches and offers an excellent view of the ocean from its expansive deck. It has a charcoal BBQ and propane fire column. Management staff is responsive and professional. It's on the 2nd floor of a 5-unit complex and shares private beach space. This beach space is divided among the 5 units, but not equally. Two-thirds of it is designated for only 1 unit, leaving occupants of the other 4 units to compete for the remaining one-third on a first-come first-serve basis. For over two decades, I've stayed at this complex for at least 1 week each year. I've stayed in 3 of the 5 units and the overall condition of the property has been steadily declining. A couple years ago, ownership changed and some remodeling occurred in all units. Finishes, flooring, and appliances were upgraded but the quality, installation, and functionality is still lacking. As an example, there is no light fixture over the dining table in this unit and at least one other. This year, and last, I had to call management and ask they provide a floor lamp so I could use the dining table after dark. This is the 1st time I've experienced a cleanliness problem. Upon arrival, there was a lot of sand scattered on the dining room table, a kitchen counter was left uncleaned, and liquid soap left on the floor of one shower stall. So I could get unpacked and didn't have to wait for management to have the unit re-cleaned, I chose to handle these issues myself but did make management aware. In compensation, I was afforded a later check-out time at departure. Wi-fi is available but not always reliable. Signal strength was good but connectivity frequently dropped. Shared off-street, covered parking is available for 3 vehicles but spaces are very narrow. Availability is on a first-come first-serve basis. If you are looking for a budget-friendly, beachfront rental, this is for you, but expect to get what you pay for.

Great Stay

Our family came for my son's college graduation. It was great. The Direct TV was not working. We texted after hours and they sent someone first thing the next morning. The problem was with Direct, but Beachfront put in a code so we could use Sling. They were very responsive.

Very Nice Property, Great views

The condo was clean and with the exception of one thing the photos accurately represented the property.
The photo of the bathroom vanity area is accurate however the commode and shower have not been renovated. I am very tall and have problems with my knees, the commode was so short that it was very difficult to use. I did anticipate this issue and brought an extender for the commode however it did not fit.
The weather was cold and rainy for the entire 5 days which meant that we were inside most of the time, there is only one TV in the condo, it would be nice to have a second one in the master bedroom to allow at least two people to watch separate programs when the weather is not great.

The double beds are bunk beds which is really not adequate for adults, there are two double beds mentioned in the description but no indication that they are bunk beds.

Amazing views. Nice home. Abundance of homeless people

We’ve stayed on this property for 3 years now. Love that it’s jistbdown the street from a park since we take our dogs every time. Unfortunately Bucaneer Park has become overrun with homeless people that are there 24/7 & it’s a little unnerving to take the dogs to the park in the dark by yourself with several homeless people hanging out & sleeping all around you. / : The showers also ran out of hot water every time we used them so we had to rush, rush to not get blasted with cold water. Besides that this vacation property was perfect for our family.

Remodeled Beach condo

Very comfortable and convenient condo right on the beach. Love the fact our kids could play on the beach as we watched from our balcony...lots of other kids in the condo. Liked Bucaneer Park within walking distance. The only negative experience was all the construction going on next door! Had to listen to jack hammers and concrete saws, and battle parking space/traffic around a "Bobcat" and other work trucks. Parking spots were tight in the carport. All the construction workers were nice though! Condo and grounds could have been child-proofed a little better though (our balcony had a large spot where our little one could've fallen through...covered it with some kind of mesh..had to move the BBQ to block it). Had to move chemicals from under the sink as the child "Locks" were broken on the cupboard door. I enjoy working with individual renters versus a management company, but For the most part, it was a pleasant experience overall.

Relaxing Oceanside

We booked our trip super last minute for spring break. Everything about it was seamless and easy. Perfect trip with the kids for a few days. Clean, stocked with all the essentials and have your own little beach. We will return for sure. Traveling with little kids can be hard staying in hotels but having our own little apartment with kitchen makes it much more relaxing for mom and dad. Views are amazing, listened to waves all night and close to everything. Thanks again.

Summer Vacation

Overall the experience was great. The access to the private beach coupled with the stunning views made the stay very positive. Space # 3 doesn't sleep 9 as reported. Unless you count two people sleeping in a full bed. The pull out couch was uncomfortable and the mattress could be updated.
The app was very useful and the door codes being preprogrammed was very simple and convenient.
The balcony was an amazing place to visit and enjoy the ocean views. While #3 had the balcony it was a little confusing knowing that space #1 had a majority section of the communal area. This could be explained better while booking.
The lack of a washer and dryer in the unit was disappointing, again the advertisement made it sound like one was provided in the unit. Not communal and cost money to use. Better clarification.

Great condo

We stayed last week (July) and it was perfect for our girls getaway. Unit says it sleeps 9 but we think that would be good if you have a few kids in the mix. We were 6 adult women and it was perfect. Endless ocean views from the couch, kitchen, bedroom and balcony was unbelievable!!!! It was clean and the management running the property were wonderful to work with. Beach is right there, but like most of that area, very rocky. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies to cook in. I would stay here again!

Best Vacation Ever

Celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. Loved every minute. Even though the weather was not the greatest the apartment had all we could have wished for. Cool mornings with a bit of rain but by 1pm or so sky's cleared and we were able to enjoy all of the local activities. Completely stocked kitchen with all your cooking tools. We BBQ'd and had Bon fires 2 nights. These folks really pay attention to detail. I didn't want to leave. We will be back.

Beautiful beachfront getaway

We had an amazing family vacation here! The unit was clean and updated and very well stocked. The beach was quiet and clean and we enjoyed hours of fun in the ocean. The balcony is private and overlooked the beach which was amazing for watching the sunset. The only negatives I found were the proximity to the train which can be pretty loud throughout the night when you want to keep the window open and the pullout couch is really just an uncomfortable futon that should probably be replaced with a real couch. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Oceanside!

Beachfront Happiness

We enjoyed most everything about our stay here! The apartment was just like we expected, the layout was very nice and the furnishings comfortable. We loved the comfort of the king size bed and being able to see the ocean first thing every morning when we awakened. The few "glitches" we ran into were handled very quickly by the management team and we could not have asked for faster or more professional service or resolutions. We were actually closer to the waves than we thought from the pictures and getting down to walk on the beach was really easy and convenient. The best for us though was simply sitting on the deck and watching the water for whales, dolphins and surfers - paradise indeed! We hope to return many times in the future!

Great Location

The location of this condo was perfect! The condo itself needed some attention. It was very clean, however the screen doors were broken, the folding door on one of the bathrooms was broken so it couldn't be used, and the shower door in the other bathroom wouldn't close all the way. I understand that it's the end of the season, but we expected it to be in better shape. One thing that was not a maintenance issue, but was difficult, was that the toilets were so close to the walls that you had to sit sideways on them. Also, the parking was very unclear. We ended up getting a $51 ticket for parking in front of the garage. The other option was to tandem park behind another guest. I would suggest just parking on the street if possible.

Great Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Oceanside. Our unit was spotless, modern, and completely equipped with everything we needed. The rental process was very efficient and pleasant. Our dog sitter cancelled at the last minute and I contacted them two days before our arrival. I was able to add the dog easily and Diana was very pleasant and helpful. They communicated with us at every step and were clear about arrival and departure codes.

Deck with great ocean view

Great 2 bedroom 2 bath with large deck with views from dining room, kitchen and bedroom. Very clean and comfortable. Our dog loved to sit on the deck and relax with us. Private section on backyard beach access and good amenities. Only 2.5 spots in car port, so we parked on street which had adequate availability. Neighborhood was quiet at night since its moderately far from the pier. We would come back again.

Great Location & Perfectly Clean

I'm a bit OCD about cleanliness and this house did not disappoint! Everything was in perfect condition. We really liked the modern, delux appliances. Having a complete kitchen made our stay that much more enjoyable. We loved using the grill on the deck. The beach was so nice and not crowded at all. In the mornings we enjoyed watching the surfers, dolphins, and even saw a whale! A few minutes drive and you'll be at the pier and harbor or if you drive south you'll be in Carlsbad. It's a great location!

Spring Break 2015

My family really enjoyed the location of this condo, right on the beach! We had views of the beach and ocean from the living and dining room, kitchen, and one of the bedrooms. The condo was equipped with everything to allow us to cook breakfast and dinner easily, and we appreciated the patio furniture, that's where we enjoyed our meals and morning coffee. My wife and I are a little on high strung side when it comes to things being clean and I must say we were surprised at how clean the condo was. It smelled clean, felt clean as apposed to grimy, the carpet was very clean and so was the furniture. It was stocked with cleaning supplies so that we could clean up when needed. The only thing I wish the unit had is a garbage disposal. We stayers for 4 nights and we were comfortable the moment we stepped in til the time we left. We booked a sailing excursion with Captain Steve Ford @ 760.207.5572. He was a great guide, friendly, professional and patient in showing our kids his boat, explaining the instruments, assisting them in taking the helm, etc. It was an excellent experience for our family and a memorable one for sure. I would highly recommend making a reservation with him if you want to go sailing.

It was my two kids 5and 6 my wife and I. We had an awesome time. Great views from the private balcony and right on the beach, no walking to the beach just walk down stairs and you are there. Great location.

Could have stayed a month!

The apartment was perfect. Very well thought out. Perfect location for the beach. The deck as just as described. My only complaint is the check-in and check-out time. For the fee, it seems that you could make check out an hour later and check in an hour earlier. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Home Feel and everything you Need!!!!!

Loved it from the time we walked in. Home feel - just like being at home, the only difference is having an Awesome ocean view, smell and sound!!! We we're able to cook and barbecue out on the beautiful deck and the family loved the walks kn the beach everyday. Would highly recommend to family and friends and within hesitate to come back again. Truly A gem and the price was very reasonable this family at six and our 3 little dogs.

Best time ever!!!

We absolutely loved this place! Perfect location! We have stayed at numerous places and this is definitely one of our favorites. My only suggestion for these beach house/condos is to supply a crock pot. We would be gone all day & would have loved to throw dinner in before we left to have it ready when we came back. Other than that, it was the perfect trip & would definitely book again!!!

We had a wonderful time. The condo was in an excellent
Location. Easy to get around. The owners could have provided more
Towels as the bath towels never dry completely.
Other than that, everything else was fine.

Endless fun

My girlfriend and I had so much fun here it's hard to describe . The place was supper clean and quiet with nothing but the sound of the Pacific Ocean. if your a surfer this is the spot. Endless sunsets and ocean spray best describes this beautiful place.

Beautiful place , clean and has all you need during the stay , my daughter loved the beach and played all day long. The balcony with the gorgeous view of the ocean is perfect for the morning coffee and breakfast , we loved the place so much we extended one more day. Defiantly returning back

Great week at the Beach

We contacted Beachfront Only at the last minute and they gave us options for the week we were looking to book. We went withe P5161-3 and it was everything they promised. We had a fantastic time and spent alot of time on the out dorr patio just looking and listening to the ocean.We will definetly be coming back soon! Also we loved the app for my iphone and the customer service was fantastic!

Soooo Relaxing!

The property was everything we expected and more. Check in & check out was beyond easy. We were given all the information needed and was easy to access. The property was spotless clean with all the amenities described. We loved the location. It was so convenient for the 4 of us and our 2 dogs. There is a park close by for lots of walks. The large patio was heavenly. It offered lots of room and privacy with the amazing ocean right in front of us. Although there are lots of shops & eateries close by.. we never left. We are looking forward to booking our next trip.
