Nice vacation

We really could not see the beach from our unit and felt a little mislead. We enjoyed the proximity to the ocean. The unit was clean and nicely furnished with a nice kitchen and TV. The unit we rented had a broken heater which could not be repaired and it was in the 40\'s at night. The heater was old and obviously had not worked well in a while. It was loud and woke us up repeatedly at night.

Location was perfect. Next time I hope to rent a unit with an ocean view. Being a senior citizen, I would suggest having a railing on the last few steps down to the patio. Additionally instructions for the Keurig coffeemaker would be helpful, as well as a clock in the unit. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I loved my rental. I love working with the rental company. Units are just like the picture, cute, comfortable and well equipped. The only suggestion I could make is the sand area could use some grooming....lots of rocks, some glass . But that is just a blip on tge radar. Location was great, could just move in. Ocean view getaway

Called ahead of time they told me my patio opened to the beach. When we arrived was real disappointed because we could barely see the beach from our room. The gate to enter the complex drags on the ground so it was hard to get in. The room itself was nice. We had a nice stay but the whole purpose of our stay was to open our doors and windows and enjoy the ocean view . We would have upgraded if we knew there was no ocean view but we were miss informed . We had a few maintenance issues but the company fixed them immediately. I commend them on good service for that. I really wish they did not miss inform me about the location of our room

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a problem with the kitchen light not working. They were so responsive and sent someone to fix it right away. It was clean and comfortable. Everything was great! My grandson had the greatest time ever being at the ocean we did had to drive down to the harbor for the beach but overall, we had the greatest time there, watching the waves and listening to the ocean. We had a nice stay at Florence 1. The condo was clean, instructions were thorough, check-in/check-out was simple, parking was convenient. We rated “condo condition” a 4 due to the patio door, which would not always open. Property management was professional and good. We rated it a 4, due only to our comparison of other condos we’ve visited. A personal touch, a message, small gift or note goes a long way.

One towel is not enough especially if you’re staying for a week, most women use 2 towels to shower, so replenishing towels at least every 3rd day is a must.. also ran out of Toilet paper ?.. the sheets are rough and need to be upgraded.. with all of that being said we loved the place and the patio.. and had a really nice time!!

Serene Spring Break Stay

We had two minor issues. 1. Code on the door didn\'t work when we got there. Someone came right away and fixed it. 2. The TV didn\'t work. Again it was fixed immediately. We expect that a vacation rental will have some minor issues so neither of those things were a big deal. Especially since it was fixed within 30 mins. The place was just what we wanted! Right next to the ocean and just lovely. We can\'t wait to come back!

It was so easy and stress free. My friend booked our bachelor party at a different place through VRBO and it was a nightmare. They gave us the wrong addresses and weren't responsive. The link to the unit was taking me to another location altogether. You might want to check that out. It brought me to the corner at the Strands beach, it was very frustrating, but there were some nice people that helped nearby. I called for help, the girl tried, but we couldn't really help each other. The property was dusty outside, and there was a lot of trash and other things lying around on the beach and at the dryer and the small ashtray nearby. The smokers were annoying, not your fault but I don't smoke. Also, you might want to add trashcans with lids near the dryer, near the grill on the first patio, and down by the beach. The people that were staying in the one on the oceanfront were very messy and didn't care. Otherwise, it was just what I needed. I really enjoyed the property, the quiet, and being able to hear and see the ocean.

Great location

Although this was one house back from the beachfront, an oceanfront patio was available to use. The home was tidy, compact, but with a full shower and large bedroom upstairs, and sizeable kitchen/lounge. The neighborhood was super clean. Two patios were attached to this unit, one downstairs and one upstairs outside the sliding door from the bedroom. We could catch of view of the surf from here, which was literally a couple stones' throw away.
The only reservation for us was the spiral staircase. We have small/medium sized dog, used to our own home's spiral staircase, but the gaps between stair steps was pretty wide, so we had to monitor him. No issues with that. We'd love to re-visit either this unit, or a larger one of two that are beachfront.

Oceanside Vacation

We loved the location of this beachfront unit. It’s upper deck was a perfect spot for enjoying the sun and eating lunch. The private beach area was great especially since the ocean levels have been so high. The unit was a perfect size for two people. The bathroom could use some updates as it has dirty and cracked tiles and the vanity is in bad shape. A simple refresh would help. Having air conditioning upstairs and downstairs was fabulous! Overall, we loved our stay.

Great spot for a vacation!

Great location, beach is a bit rocky and wish you could get more time on the actual beach especially because the top private beach is small for guests as half of it is reserved for one unit. Over all, the place is nice, great location, clean, easy check in and out process and great experience. The only things I would say is that the top private sand area should be open to all guests or least expand it a bit more. Also, the property could be kept up a bit more but I understand the past year was rough so things take time. Regardless of the minor pit falls, we would stay there again! The price and location are just unbeatable.

Cute & Quirky Beach Apartment

Unit 4 was quirky and cute. Small view of the ocean, and a roof top patio. This rental definitely served its purpose of somewhere close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants and stores. The downfalls - garbages and mattress. The garbage was absolutely horrific all three days we were there, overflowing bins right outside our unit and smelled terrible. The king mattress needs to be replaced, we could feel the springs in our backs.

Exactly what I was hoping for!

This place was small but VERY comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. There are some steps down to the beach that you can lay on at night and look up at the stars with the waves just a few feet away from you. Magical. Fantastic Stay!

We love this area - such a great location. And the sandy area with patio furniture is fantastic. We watched the sun set over the ocean each night and ate our lunch at the outdoor table. 12 year Anniversary getaway

Excellent place to relax

Came here for a week to "work from home" and get in some R&R. The wifi could be stronger but otherwise, loved the immediate beach access. We were in one of the units not directly facing the water (unit 4) but we could still hear the waves and loved our location. Everything we needed was here - towels, dishes, sheets, etc. Very clean, everything was well-laid out and all the shared spaces were really nicely maintained and we still felt like we had our privacy. Super relaxing place. Loved the immediate access to the beach down below at low tide and the proximity to Buccaneer cafe/park/beach within a 2 minute walk. Very family/dog friendly and would come back here in a heartbeat.

Roll onto the beach in this quaint beach apartment rental

Our 1x1 apartment vacation beach front fental had a spiral staircase that lead to the bathroom and bedroom. It was lovated in the middle of the building behind three other units that faced the beach. Family get-a way

This rental was perfect, as our other family members were staying at the Paradise RV park, which was a 2 minute walk from the condo. The unit was cute, clean and accurately described in the advertisement. As this was a shared beach from property, we had to contact management as the unit adjacent to us had taken over the common area with their children and toys were littered everywhere alone with sand and rocks on the beach chairs. The management company was responsive and the area was cleaned by their staff. The second issue we had was a gas leak. Again, the management company had someone there to fix it within a 1/2 hour. I give this property 5 stars for the location, condition, cleanliness, and management professionalism.

Great Beach Fun, Room Had

The location and views of the ocean from our rental was killer! The hot water would not work and the "pullout bed" was not what I would call a pull out bed and it was also broken. They came and fixed it quickly, but shouldn't have been an issue for the $ I spent. Also got locked out of room prematurely, and so did our neighbor renters. Our neighbors had a broken toilet and ceiling fan in their unit as well. Still, very responsive and the staff was friendly. Rental and patio areas were sparkling clean. Very quiet family area. Oceanside is a great vacation spot.

This rental is in a great spot and has its own adorable little shared beach area in the back that is perfect for peacefully sipping your morning coffee. The rental was clean and has everything you can think of needing. From extra blankets to mixing bowls for cooking. It’s a small rental but the space is used very well. We will definitely be back!

Family Vacation

Great Location, but property needs better maintenance!

We have stayed here a few times and enjoy the location very much. However, this time there was an issue with the heater in the unit we stayed in. We contacted the management twice and while their response was very quick, the problem did not get resolved. We gave up calling because we did not want to be disturbed anymore. Knowing there was a problem, they didn't follow up with us as well. A little disappointing how this matter was handled but over all we enjoyed our stay.

Nice location, good beach access. Only issues were;
Shower - Poor water pressure, no place to put soap & shampoo (corner shelves) need hooks to hang wet bathing suits to drip in the shower to dry. Tile on floor, very slippery.
Parking - Should limit one space per unit FCFS. People in one unit had two cars and took up both spaces so no one else could park in the carport!
Dirty window tracks. Unit could use some upgrades.

Surf, Sun, and Fun Holiday

The location was perfect but construction next door was not disclosed. The shared deck off the bedroom was totally occupied by other tenants with clothes towels shoes water equipment for most of our stay. But it was very quiet in the evenings and night. Parking was on the street not as promised but was not a problem. Overall we had a really great time. Coffee hut across the street was great. I would rent a different unit in the same location next time to overlook the ocean in the evenings while sleeping. Everything else went very much as planned. Thank you for the great get-a-way!

A hidden gem

When we arrived we had a hard time accessing our unit. The unit itself was lovely and quaint. It was a spacious 1 bedroom, no ocean view, but can hear the sound of the waves. The bed needs to be replaced, it was so hard. We really did enjoy our stay for the most part.

Hear the waves!

This Ia a cozy clean rental. There is a no view of the ocean but you can hear the waves! The beaches is 100 steps away down a walk way. Watching the sunsets was a treat. The beach was a great walking beach. The overall location was perfect for us. There are a number of great restaurant s close by and "Revolution Coffee" is. MUST do!

Nice rental - but with some problems.

Overall the property was nice. It had a great heater and dishwasher and stuff. It was really clean when we checked in and when we had a problem with the internet they came and fixed it quickly. I didnt like how the laundry is coin operated and costs $3. Most rentals I have stayed at, they have one for free, but my biggest complaint was that there were 4 properties and only 2 private beach spots. Also, there were only 2 parking spots. So I had to park on the road and my car got broken into. It ended up costing me about $200. I was lucky the car didn't get stolen but my alarm went off. They should really fix that and provide a garage.

Beachfront Paradise

When we arrived to the property we were pretty impressed. It was perfect for our family of 4, well equiped and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedroom is nice and big. Just okay

I was shocked when i first arrived because the pictures are misleading about the location. I did not realize property is consructed right on top of each other. We came in at night and it looked like a shanty town. I really thought our unit would be a little more secluded from neighbors. i did not realize houses on the beach were so close to each other. The unit was nice and clean. Our air conditioners especially the one in the downstairs was extremely loud. You could barely hear TV and hearing the ocean was impossible. I had to make 2 phone calls to get it looked at and a screen door latch fixed. They offered us a different air conditioner but we were already on the downside of our stay so we said not to bother. We stayed a total of 10 nights. This particular unit is very hot because of no windows to open of any real value for air flow so we had to use the air conditioners. it just got too warm and stuffy. Our gas fire pit never did work even after they came and looked at it and said it was working. Maybe more instructions on how it worked would have helped us and we failed to find any. The kitchen was very nice ans sufficient with utensils and dishes and cookware. I was so pleased I never saw one bug. That was a real blessing! I have been to ocean sites that were nightmares in the bug department. Over all it was okay, i just think the pictures and descriptions of the units, and how many are jammed in one building and the proximity to neighbors is a little unclear. I would pick another unit if i used this particular property again. Our church gave us a housing survey and I gave you guys good marks, but this unit should be lots cheaper than the others.

It was ok - not the best.

I was a little disappointed in this condo. First of all, please know that picture #2 does NOT represent what you think your view will be!! That was a misrepresentation of P5161-4 view. What you actually look at from your balcony is the side brick wall of the condo next door (2 feet away). You share the balcony with unit 5. For us, we do not like being around cigarette smoke so if your neighbors are chain smokers you cannot just sit out at the table and enjoy the fresh air, are stuck dealing with the smoke in a very small area.

Also, they is a lot of mold built up in the shower which is really disturbing. That should be removed immediately! The wood structure holding the balcony looks a bit concerning as it is rotting away.

Great little place for a day or two

We spent 2 nights here with 3 small kids and it made it possible for us to stay on the beach which was awesome since half of us wanted to be on the beach all day and half wanted very little to do with all that sand. All in all it was perfect for us but it seemed a shame to not have a view of the ocean since we were only 10 steps from it.

Two Thumbs Up, great location!

We stayed in unit 4 for a four night stay in early August. The unit was exactly as pictured in the advertising, fully stocked kitchen ready for any cooking you want/need, just make a quick trip to the grocery store and you're all set. It was a warm week when we stayed, the windows do not provide much of a cross breeze so it was a little warm inside. The bed was comfortable although you may want to bring your own pillows.

As far as the property, it is very close living quarters although comfortable enough to not feel that you're bumping into your neighbors all the time. The pictures on the website need to be updated as unit 1 has their own private sand area, and takes away from the common area of the other renters. There is a fire pit in the common area by the beach (wood was provided), a propane grill in the common area of the units, and units 4 and 5 had their own non-gas grill and propane fire pit as well in the balcony area.

There is plenty of street parking, although it may get a little crowded during peak beach season, there was never an issue for us being able to find an open spot. There are 2/3 spaces in a covered garage area at the units. There are plenty of towels and beachtowels to go around and the washer dryer is right outside the door if needed.

Just a warning - each night the high tide brings the water up to the rocks end it is difficult to access the beach, but beautiful to sit on the property and look at and hear the crashing waves. Make sure you bring in your beach chairs and beach toys before high tide hits, or it could all be washed away. Beach toys and boogie boards were available on the property to use as needed as well.

Perfect getaway

We had such an amazing time! It was a great place for our little family. There is a spiral staircase, in the unit we stayed in, that is a slight danger issue if you have a little one (mine's 2). So impressed!

This was the perfect little beach condo! My friend and I stayed here as a graduation form nursing school vacation. Everything was super clean and organized! The bed was super comfortable and they had everything that we needed. An oven, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and a toaster. There was direct tv and a dvd player that worked as well. The best part was that the beach was our backyard! When they say that it is steps the beach they are not kidding! The property owners are very nice and get back to you promptly! I am super impressed with everything about this property and its managers. Seriously considering booking a few of them at the same time for my destination wedding!!!

Quiet Get Away

Overall it was a nice experience. The first day we got there, it was unbearably hot inside the condo but I know Oceanside was having a heatwave. The inside of the condo was nice but the bathroom could have been much cleaner especially the floors. The outside was not so well kept. The garbage cans out on our patio area attracted flies which then came into the condo. The upstairs patio and tables were not clean. The gate to the beach did not lock properly which is somewhat of a security problem. These are small things but do add up.

Family vacation

overall very good. one thing I would recommend would be to put another light in the living room area. the only lights come from the kitchen/dining area and just maybe a floor lamp or something in the corner where the plant is would be nice.

With two 6 year olds, this place was a perfect choice. The kids had a great time which was our number one goal. The beach access and location was the best! Even with sharing the home with four other units, we felt we had privacy and felt safe. In our unit, we did have a lot of light coming in windows from the porch lights since there wasn't a window covering for a few windows facing the inner patio; however, it wasn't a huge issue since everyone was so exhausted each day from all the fun. We would stay here again.

Absolutely our favorite stay yet!

This was our 3rd time renting with BFO in Oceanside. We have a small vacation budget so we're always looking for good buys, and this is the best so far! Compared to bungalow #9, we did miss the ocean view off the living room, but that was all. The beach access was so much better, there is far more privacy without the people walking or jogging right past our patio. 600sq ft living space was terrific! Having a dish washer was nice. The upstairs balcony patio is super cute with a nice view. Parking was easy. Even the street parking easy, not super busy. We already booked for next year!

Oceanside Spring Break

Unit has been completely updated. Great for family of 2-4, with kids 6 and up (due to spiral stair case). Beds were far from comfortable though. Only complaint other than not enough linens and/or towels supplied. Will definitely be back!

Steps away to beach

Overall had a great stay. Absolutely loved how close we were to the beach. condo has been updated so pictures online are not quite accurate and the beach view pics were taken from the unit in front of this one. all porch lights of the unit are very bright and curtains could be darker. But overall very nice place for the price and beach access. I would come again!

Oceanside Beachfront Stay

My stay here was wonderful! I was a little worried about the windows but upstairs is a slider to an upstairs deck. I can't remember any mention of this so it was a really pleasant surprise. It was very clean, with lots of towels with a real touch of class and style. I went for long walks on the beach just outside the door as I love the ocean and have been missing it for 2 years. I would definitely stay again - it was so quiet at night but a short drive to the Pier, Harbor, and restaurants. Oh, and the shower is huge (my husband loved it because he is a big guy).

We always stay with BeachFrontOnly and most likely always will. We did not care for the spiral staircase or the young solicitor just waltzing in.

We added a coded gate entrance. 1615#4 has been remodeled , it still has the charming spiral staircase but the stopes have all been refinished.
