All homes in Oceanside, CA sit behind a rock barrier protecting the homes from storm surges. The amount of sand beyond the rock barrier varies quickly with storms and tides and may have more or less sand than what is shown in the photos.

We loved our staycation, the house was fantastic. We saw dolphins daily, enjoyed big family style meals together and had plenty to space to spread out. The only disappointment was that the hot tub never got hot.

by Diana DavisThere are three spacious decks overlooking the ocean and every bedroom has an ocean view. Beachfront Only's staff is always on top of things, just a phone call away but I did not have to contact them at all as everything was perfect! If you are looking for space and privacy I would highly recommend this home!
Great Family Vaction
by Eric PylesThe only reason why not 5 star is lack of washer and dryer. When the tide is down you can climb down the rocks and hang out on the beach, though it is a bit rocky. They only give you one bath towel, so you are re-using same towel since you can't wash anything. Be nice to have some "beach" things/toys to use.
