Upon entering the first level of the home, there is a large beautiful granite kitchen with stainless appliances and cherry wood cabinetry, and an oceanfront living room with amazing views. There is also a private courtyard area, perfect for barbecuing. Central AC is available for those hot sunny days.

Pluses: 1 Kevin greeted us warmly and showed us how things worked.
2 Good beach access on lower tides. Never had to leave the house to go to a beach.
Ideas: 1 Somehow make some airflow for bottom story. Small window drafts on each end would make it cooler.

We found the house wonderful for all of us. We had a large group and everyone was very happy. We stay every year at a beach house with our family. This was the best and Beachfront Only was the best at taking care of us. Wish we could have had Sun and a beach but we worked around that and that had nothing to do with Beachfront Only. Wonderful house for 19 people but some complaints…
Windows were broken or held by tape.
Coffee maker was broken but there was a back up coffee maker.
Found moldy food in night stand.
Wasn’t as clean as I had hoped upon arrival.
Didn’t realize the bottom floor did not have an access through the house. It was outdoor access only.
Trash day was Tuesday but website says Friday.
Wish there were more substantial cooking supplies for a large house. It was hard to cook for 19 people with the limited supplies.
View was amazing. Saw dolphins swim by everyday.

by Jenn LundyTerrible conditions of the house and not worth the money. The windows do not open in the top front rooms which are hot and have no air. There was no beach like shown in photos. There were only a few chairs to sit in on the beach again not as pictured. The first morning we were there the first floor flooded with grey water. The company sent someone out to “fix” it but they just mopped up the water. Later in the day the second floor bathroom toilet and tub filled up with sewage. They sent someone out to “fix” it again but the plumber needed permission from owner to do what was necessary but the owner declined. We were left to fend for ourselves. No one could take a shower, wash dishes, or flush a toilet without the second floor bathroom over flowing with black sewer water. I spent hours trying to talk to a live person who could help remedy the issue or move us. I didn’t receive a call from the property management until Monday afternoon. We checked out Sunday morning. They refused to refund us and I had to escalate to Airbnb. Do not stay here. The owner clearly has let the property go since it’s initial purchase and does not care about its tenants.

THE HOUSE WAS PERFECT FOR MY FAMILY. EVERYONE HAD THEIR OWN BEDROOM. THE TABLE AND NUMBER OF CHAIRS ALLOWED US TO ALL SIT AND ENJOY DINNER TOGETHER. THERE WERE A FEW TIMES I HAD TO CALL FOR A PROBLEM AND THE RESPONSE WAS IMMEDIATE. THE REALLY BAD THING WAS WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE HOUSE ON WED. AT 4 PM, THE HOUSE WAS STIFFLING...AT LEAST 90 DEGREES OR MORE INSIDE. I CALLED FOR HELP AND I WAS TEXTED A LINK ON HOW TO WORK THE THERMOSTAT AND WAS UNSUCCESSFUL, THERE WAS A LARGE COOLER IN THE DEN AREA WHICH I TURNED ON BUT IT DID LITTLE TO LESSEN THE TEMPERATURE. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE HAD SOMEONE COME IN PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL AND TURNED ON THE AIR.
ANOTHER ISSUE WHICH YOU MAY ALREADY BE AWARE OF IS STRANGERS COMING ONTO THE PROPERTY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. MY GRANDSON GOT UP AROUND 2 AM AND SAT OUT ON THE PORCH TO WATCH THE WAVES. HE LOOKED OVER THE RAILING AND SAW A COUPLE ON ONE OF THE LOUNGES HAVING SEX. HE SAID SOMETHING TO THEM AND THEY GOT UP AND LEFT OUT OF THE BROKEN GATE.

The location of the property is ideal and it was impeccably clean when we arrived. All great pluses. That said, with the price point of this property I would also expect the condition to be close to impeccable, too.
One of the primary glaring gaps was the fence condition on the beach (the north side next to the public accessway) - candidly i would suggest replacing it and ensuring it is high enough and covers the entire length of the property to the public steps (mirroring the height of the house on the north side of the accessway would be a good benchmark). As it is, it's much too low, there are gaps, and I didn't really have any sense of safety/security on the property - especially with the number of folks hanging out late at night on the accessway. It was VERY exposed and unnecessarily so.
Other items of note:
1 - toilet seat was half broken in the downstairs bathroom
2 - screens/slider in the upstairs southern-most beach-facing bedroom were in deplorable shape
3 - other windows/screens were inoperable and or in disrepair in several bedrooms
Fully understand this seems to be a "party house" (we're a tame bunch FYI) so I understand it probably suffers a lot of wear and tear, but it shouldn't feel this much in disrepair. Honestly i think a run-through to ensure all looks good and is in working order would be a worthwhile exercise. Just my $0.14 for the day!
All told, we had a wonderful time at the house, it was very spacious and everyone really did have a terrific time and it was quite swell. My lens is really that this is a very-high pricepoint and the overall quality should reflect that. Some small fixes would pay dividends in ensuring perception meets reality!
Really appreciate the experience.

Our only concern was the house can fit 20 people, but there isn’t enough pots and pans to cook for 20 people. Just to cook scrambled eggs we had to use every pan in the house at the same time. There was plenty of cups, plates, forks, etc. just not enough pots and pans. Other than that, we loved it!!

We had a great time at the rental but there were issues. The floors were dirty, gritty............I know we were by a beach but this was inside the house and immediately after check in - we hadn't been outside yet. the bring the sand in. We had problems with air conditioning working properly, portable units brought in tended to disconnect from the window. Our appliances didn't work right - oven did not heat up to desired temperature......refrigerator had to be replaced while we were there. Beachfront dealt with the refrigerator immediately but it was one of many things that went wrong - we spent $23,000 to rent this property. I expected the home to be worth that. Final complaint was beach access. We knew we would have steps to the beach..........however we weren't warned of the dangers of walking down the steps (there was a sign posted but it wasn't close to the steps-the warning should be posted at the steps. The first person to walk down those step, slipped and fell. She has a bruised tailbone and a knot on her head. Things could have been much worse. Although we had a great time I won't recommend the property, especially at the prices charged. One more thing, the shampoo, etc. provided stunk - I'm not sure if it was bad or what the problem was.

May 2021 Beach House!

We had a large group, 14+ people... and this house was more than big enough for everyone... we could have had 20 people if we wanted. The location right on the water is amazing, along with the private beach, which is necessary during high tide when you don’t even have a public beach. This house is so diverse with the 3 levels and is really the perfect party house. We spent our days on the private beach on the first level, we ate breakfast and dinners in the large dining room and kitchen area on the third level, and we spent our late evenings on the balcony on the second level while the waves crashed into the rocks right in front of our private beach below... it was epic!

Stay was great. Property not so much

Main floor was dirty, not mopped. 2nd floor bathroom had a lot of hair around the floor vent and dirty bathtub. Refrigerator/freezer not cold enough. Set at 37, but not getting that cold. Lost some food and think we got food poisoning because of it. Out of 15 people, all but 3 got sick and were throwing up, me also! That's not normal. Garage was over flowing with trash.
Supposed 2 car garage is only large enough for 2 small SUV.s. Had to park all but one outside. No instructions as to how to use heating/cooling units in bedrooms. Not enough or no drawer space in rooms. Lacking closets also. Pictures on your website made it look like we had full access to beach. Not so. That is one of the reasons I wanted this one. I have bad knees and cannot go up and down the stairs to the beach, which was not even accessible except one day. Broken or damages window (2 inch gap) in back bedroom so it was to cold to even sleep there.
We rented from you last year and that house was immaculate. I would still recommend you to friends, but not for this one. Contact me if I can be of any assistance.

Beach House 1919 Pacific

This is a great house. We would stay there again. The beds were all great, and the towels and beach towels were wonderful. The Kitchen was fully stocked, but we needed extra forks, and there was not a sharp knife anywhere. The best part of this house is a giant great room overlooking ocean. We all had seats at the longest table ever, and all had seats in the large living room. The house was clean, the front two bedrooms were a little drafty. really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Oceanside location w/amazing private beach!

I reserved a different house, but was moved to this one at the last minute, so I didn't know what to expect. The house is large. There are many stairs between floors, so I can't recommend it for handicap folks. There are many amazing outdoor seating options.. large private front patio w/BBQ, large 2nd floor balcony and a large private beach w/a great fire pit. The house was clean upon arrival & equipped w/what we needed. Amazing views from all floors. Has a garage with a washer/dryer and lots of street parking. This is a great location, close enough to the pier & to Carlsbad Village. We rode our bikes to both areas. Revolution Roasters is close to grab a great cup of coffee and a pastry before sunrise. The fire pit was used every night.. need to bring your own wood. We saw pods of dolphins every day. Dog friendly beach w/miles of beach both ways to walk or run on. Negatives are the owner did a shoddy job converting the master bedroom/sunroom in to 4 small rooms. Shouldn't be called bedrooms because there are no closets, just a small clothes rack w/no hangers provided. Some of those rooms have the old windows as the walls between them & they sloppily put black out tint on them, but still lacking privacy in spots. For their very expensive nightly charge, they should make the owner complete the conversion properly. Not one room has a private bath. The bottom floor used to be a patio and now its a glass enclosed room. It would be awesome, but it doesn't have a/c & only one slider is operational. It got really hot in there, even in December! At high tide, you really can't walk along the beach, but that's for only short periods. You have your own private beach, so it makes up for the high tide times! Perfect spot if you want to surf. I didn't like the public access right next to house. You lose some privacy & there were occasional unsavory characters hanging out. The pictures on BFO's website are accurate. If they lowered the price, I'd recommend this house.

Perfect Vacation House for Families

We’ve stayed in many beach vacation houses and this one is our new favorite. The bedrooms are all nice and have great views. The bathrooms are spacious. The private beach backyard was amazing. We sat around the fire pit every evening. Loved having the double washer and dryer in the garage for our laundry. The location felt very safe. You’ll have a great time in this house! I have to add, I’ve booked beach houses from many companies on both the east and west coast. Beachfront Only is superior in every way. They have great communication and make everything simple from start to finish.

We had a great experience and the management company was quick to respond to our concerns. The only negative is that the house is right next to the public beach access and with COVID safety restrictions more people were on the beach than other homes further down the beach.

80th Birthday celebration .

It was the best birthday ever- there were 17 of us and we had plenty of room, everyone had a great bed and ample room for all. We cooked all our meals in a great kitchen. The view was magnificent, we enjoyed a fire each morning and evening. It was also a good location, not much traffic and very quite. Even were able to see a few dolphins. I would recommend this for large family's.

A multi-generational family reunion/birthday Celebration

Our beachfront stay was amazing and everything I had hoped for. This is the fifth time we have experienced a vacation rental with Beachfront properties, and the third time at this specific location. For our group of 15, multi-generation of ages from 15-86 years old; this home provided something for everyone to enjoy. We especially enjoyed that there were numerous room/areas for all of us to gather together; from the courtyard as you enter the home, to the kitchen/living room to the 2nd floor patio and the private beach area with fire pit. In addition, we had plenty of room to spread out and more than enough beds for everyone. There is also gorgeous views of the beach and sunsets from all three levels of the home. If there is one thing that would have been great to have, it would have been another bathroom w/shower. Although we managed with the 3 full bathrooms with shower and 1/2 bathroom w/o shower. It would have been convenient in the mornings when everyone got up. But it was a minor issue that we were able to navigate. The staff has always been very professional, attentive and responsive with any and all questions and I would highly recommend Beachfront vacation rentals; and our family‘s preference of this home with the private beach backyard.

Wonderful family retreat

We were there for a family reunion and found the house a wonderful location. We all enjoyed the beach and just relaxing. We prepared all our meals on location and found the kitchen quite adequate. All the necessary kitchen utensils were there as well as pots and pans. Also plenty of cups,glasses, and plates. The beds were very comfortable and the gathering rooms very comfortable. The views were spectacular. A place we would love to return to.

Perfection

Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation house, spacious and beautiful. The views were breathtaking and on several mornings we even watched dolphins while we sat on the balcony drinking our coffee! If you have kids the separate down stairs room is everything! They could play, scream, and have all kinds of fun and you barely hear them while you sit on the beach or upstairs enjoying your wine (it beverage of choice)�� Our family will be back next year!

Perfection!

This vacation came as close to perfection as any we've taken in our 50 years of marriage! It was our Golden Anniversary celebration and all of our kids and grand kids joined us. The location and the house were AMAZING! It was extremely clean, well-appointed, comfy and beautiful!! Every single one of us (10 total) had their own "oasis" in which to relax and enjoy our extraordinary ocean view. Having our own beach on the upper level was an added bonus since the tide was pretty high while we were there. We would go there again in a heartbeat. We also felt very safe there. It was everything and more as it was advertised!

What an amazing trip!

I loved staying at this place, it was clean, beautiful & the view was overwhelmingly amazing to wake up to every morning. I do have just a few things that rubbed me the wrong way.
- The 1 small bathroom on the sec floor was out of date and we were sharing it with 3 bedrooms.
- The downstairs is separated from the rest of the house, so it was a bit scary to lock half my family in down there and then also lock them out upstairs at night.
-There was a lot of drug use in the public walkway that was right next to us, leading down to the beach. I know that is not the owner's fault but I would like to let other parents know to watch for that while watching your little ones in the back yard.
-We did not have much time to play on the beach because of the high tide, I would definitely check the tide/moon schedule when picking your time to stay here.
The kitchen was amazing. My kids loved playing in the sand and I loved the weather. We went at the end of March and it was perfect.
I have recommended this house to many of my family members and will most likely be staying here again.

Fantastic Ocean Holiday Home

Such a great home to spend a vacation in! Stunning views, super location, open floor plan, ample kitchen, your own beach back yard - how could you go wrong?? The house was very clean with fresh towels /linens and the entire party loved the comfortable beds.
We all live in beach towns not far from here but the experience of being right on the sand made for a wonderful vacation. Lots of activities in the area or hang out and enjoy the view. BeachFront Only Rentals were super attentive to all the details as well.
A great home to celebrate in and/or have a family vacation. We plan to return with a bigger group in the near future!

Lots of room and very comfy. The family LOVED the location. Clean, neat, and roomy. Drawbacks: no beach at the moment (tides and storms) so no walks; electrical needs work; needs more info on where to turn on different lights, especially living room; dishwasher has serious issues. Perfect family gathering

Wonderful house right on the beach. We had 12 sleeping at the home, could have easily slept 18, and 20 total at the house for a full day and never felt cramped. Plenty of varied common living areas for spreading out and enjoying the views, the beach and your group. The kitchen is well equipped however other household amenities (supplies) are less plentiful, bring what you need for comfort. We would happily return or recommend to others.

While we do fully stock our kitchens and provide you with a lot of the basic items including spices, we also provide a list of items on our website (under what you need bring) that you will need to bring on your trip which includes cooking oil, saran wrap and foil for left overs. We don't provide maid service so unfortunately we can't provide items that cannot be restocked on a daily basis, we do provide some basics items to get you started such a toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. We do not provide beach accessories as people tend to either take them when they leave or leave them on the beach, but we do have an amazing concierge service that can provide all beach items for you.

Family vacation 2018 - fantastic

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time together in this spacious house. Cleanliness, amenities, and location were wonderful! The only small complaint we had was that there were lots of flies that got into the house. Also, the bottom floor large doors were out of service and We were not able to open up to the ocean. But we spent most of our time on the 2nd level deck and all was great!! We plan on returning next year!!

A Difficult Beginning with an Incredible Response by BeachFront

Overall, an incredible experience! Although we picked the hottest time of the summer to visit, and although our wonderful home's AC was not working when we arrived, BeachFront went above and beyond to ensure that we were as comfortable as possible, replacing the AC's motor within 24 hours and doing everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Spacious Beaxh Front Home

My family was very happy with the vacation rental. It's very spacious and great for entertaining with lots of outside decking and private beach. The jacuzzi in the master bedroom was out of order as was the ice maker in the kitchen. Maintainance came right out. The extra fridge in garage was a great backup. We were concerned about the public access that ran on the side of our rental as the extra beds on the bottom floor needed doors open because of the heat. The private beach had lots of beach chairs and umbrellas. Bring wood for the firepit!

Spies Family Vacation!

We made a decision to celebrate our retirement as well as our 50th Anniversary with our kids and their kids...all 17 of us! The house is amazing. Some highlights: the surf break right out back was incredible, the backyard was perfect to lounge on and the fire pit let us hang outside all night, the house was very spacious and comfortable, great restaurants and breweries minuets away. We rented this property June 11-16, 2018. We brought our family of 4 plus 5 of the boys friends ages 16-18. It was the perfect set-up for us. The house looks exactly like the pictures. Beautiful and clean! My husband and I stayed on the top floor while the boys took over the bottom 2 floors. Plenty of space and beds. Comfortable Beds. The sand beach in front was perfect for volleyball and other outdoor games. The fire pit was perfect for s'mores. The ocean beach in front was so picturesque! During low tide it was great for board boarding. Even not low tide, they swam and body surfed. Maybe not the best for young kids. However, you could walk down the beach to areas of more sand. We had the best time and would definitely stay here again!

Amazing week at the beach!

We spent the week here with another family and it was fantastic! We arrived in Oceanside earlier than expected so we just played by the beach until checkin. We could see the cleaning crew. They vacuumed every seat/couch cushion, dusted everything including pillows etc. The home was spotless when it was time to checkin. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed a daily dolphin show in the ocean right in front of the house. There are so many places to gather throughout the house it never felt crowded for our large group. The beds were all comfy and the linens etc were high quality. Internet wasn’t working when arrived. We called and someone was there within the hour to fix. Unfortunately there was an issue on the cable company end so it couldn’t be resolved right then. I had an all day work web conf and needed internet, beachfront made accommodations for me at a local office. They went above and beyond to be helpful. Beachfront was responsive, courteous, happy and made our stay so enjoyable. Ruby’s on the pier is a fun burger joint at the end of the pier worth eating. Every Thursday there is a farmers market/ food truck type venue with live music near Oceanside pier. So fun! We used Whitlock surf Co for surf lessons and they were awesome! Hit up Hill Street Donut shop down the street for amazing donuts and croissants. We loved our stay and would highly recommend, and we hope to return soon!

Great-Grandmothers B'Day!

I cannot speak positively enough about BeachFront Rentals and their customer service. We have been staying with BeachFront annually for the past three years; the last two years at P9191-0. It has provided us a home away from home on, sitting on the beach with room for all 17 of us and two pet dogs for an enjoyable 2 night 3 day stay. Rooms throughout the home big enough for all of us to congregate and enjoy family togetherness. We especially love the private beach, yard and fire pit for gathering around the campfire. I would recommend highly. If there is one wish, it would be for more bathroom/showers other than that it was perfect.

Intimate wedding ceremovy

Spent the weekend here for a small marriage ceremony with closest family. The location and the home are really amazing. The service as needed was also on point while there. My only requests for the management is to have better times for and more flexibility for check in/out. They are pretty rigid. I had to pay $500 for early check in and late check out.

The check out time is 10am and the check in time is at 4pm due to the fact that most of our beachfront properties are so large (4-11 bedrooms), which this property is a 5 bedroom, that it takes time to clean the entire house, clean all of the windows (and re-clean the west facing ones again), the outside of the property, drain and clean Jacuzzi’s, change the linens, etc in order to have it ready for the next clients amazing stay. Sticking to a strict schedule ensures that all properties are cleaned on time (since that is only a 6 hour window) and we have over 85 amazing properties. You were wonderful guests and took great care of the house. We value your feedback and are looking forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Perfect beach front rental!

My two younger sisters and their families came out from Austin, TX so we decided to do something different. All 5 of us sisters and 1 brother and our families got together for a reunion. This house exceeded our expectations! It accommodated us nicely and the kids were in the water from sun up to sundown it was beautiful ! We got a taste of what it is like to live the beach life! The kids were excited the adults were excited it was a perfect place for us to hang out and relax! The rental did have all the basic necessities! We did a Costco and Walmart run for some food and things that we forgot. we would definitely come again!

Beautiful beachfront home

This is our 2nd time renting this house. It's absolutely beautiful with a stunning view. Not sure if they hired a new cleaning service but the house was spotless and seemed cleaner this year. I'm kind of particular about cleanliness. The management company was very professional and timely in fulfilling our requests. The house has all the comforts of home. I would definitely rent this house again.

Awesome house!

Awesome! Very large, very nice house. The little maintenance we needed was helped within 2 hours of ordering! Had lots of people staying over, it was great. Only complaint was that the floors were very dirty, your feet would become black from walking around barefoot. But this was easily adjusting to and overall great experience!!!

Beautiful, but dirty

We rented from you last year and everything was beautiful. This year, however, we were disappointed in a couple things. First and foremost was the cleanliness of the property. The ceiling fans has so much dust on them that when we turned one on, dust flew threw the air in clumps. The screen in the kitchen window was so dirty, my 80-year-old mom tried to wash it from the outside. The house was just nowhere as clean as the house last year. We loved the private beach, but the downstairs patio was dangerously damaged. If anyone injures themselves due to this damage you will have a lawsuit on your hands. The grill was not working properly when we arrived. We were cooking for 20 and had shish kebobs made ready for the grill. When we called about the grill, the first man I spoke to said he would have someone there the next day. Of course I was not happy with that answer. The next man I spoke to said someone would be right over. He promptly sent someone with a brand new grill. I just wish I didn't have to get angry first. We will rent form you again, but this particular property needs to have some work done. Overall, my family still had an amazing time.

Perfect beach front vacation

The house was great and it was truly beach front with easy access down to the beach. The "back yard" was its own private beach with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and good sand. The best vacation stay ever.

The property elicited "wow" from everyone of my friends and family assembled for my 80th birthday. There were 11 of us. Everyone had a bed.The location is "to die for".
Diane, in the management office, deserves a 10 for being helpful. Omar brought a new coffee pot in a couple of hours when the other one didn't work. It was clean, quiet, spacious and elegant. I'd love to go back. The masterbed was the most comfortable ever. Loved every moment of it.

Gorgeous Home

My family and friends spent the weekend here for spring break and absolutely loved it!! We have used BFO several times; we've had different properties every time, and they're all wonderful. This was the biggest one we've stayed in and OMG it's sooo spacious and beautiful..just amazing! The only thing missing was an outdoor jacuzzi like most of their other properties have. But the big sandy backyard sure made up for it. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Oceanside family vacation

It was unforgettable. Loved that it was right on the beach. Felt like I was at home. It was misleading when we realized that there were no beds that pulled out under the beds on the beach level room. Luckily we still had enough beds for everyone. Other than that...awesome!!!

Family Beach Week

Great property, clean, well maintained, suited our 5 children and their spouses and children. We love the beach and the ocean. Sadly a winter storm hit as we arrived. Monday morning the sand a Oceanside was mostly gone! Water and sea wall - no beach. Bummer. Had to drive a bit to find beach. Our only disappointment.

Beautiful Views

We rented the beach house for our family. 8 adults & 5 kids. The house was roomy and conveniently located for surfing, kids playing in the sand and on the beach. The enclosed patio is like a cabana which was convenient for the kids with an outside bathroom to wash off. The stairs were a little difficult to deal with a 1 & 2 yr old. Would have been nice to have one more shower inside of the house but we worked around that too. Great kitchen and several eating places. Went on long walks on the beach and along the streets sidewalks. Plenty of parks, coffee shops and the pier gave us quite a few activities for all ages. Loved our stay!

We have stayed in this lovely home before and loved it then. Since 2 years ago they have added more sleeping space and made it even more conducive to having a large group of people there. We rented this house for our family during a reunion in the area. When you walk in the door, the views from the large windows will take your breath away. I enjoyed having walks with my sister on the beach every morning, coffee on the terrace and making sand castles with my grandkids later on. I am so glad I rented this house because despite the busy itinerary throughout the week, I was always "at the beach" when we were here. I am quite familiar with the area so I knew this was a great location on a quiet street and less beach traffic. It is not easy walking to the pier but this is more the "locals" area. We could walk to Beach Break cafe which which serves amazing breakfasts and buccaneer beach cafe for a great simple lunch or breakfast burrito. Everything else is a short drive away. Some of my other favorite places to go are Swami's cafe in Carlbad for fabulous salads and Johnny Mañanas on Mission is THE place for Mexican food. I loved sleeping with the doors to the sun room open so I could listen to the ocean. There is plenty of room for the kids to play inside or out and nothing they could hurt. I had my two dogs and they enjoyed soaking up the sun in the enclosed courtyard. The kitchen is roomy and well equipped, however there were no staples other than salt pepper and spices. The garage has an extra refridgerator and two sets of washers and dryers, which really came in handy as well. The living room and dining room furniture is a little worn but very comfortable. Overall this place exceeded my expectations.

The house is in a great location, we had a good time and enjoyed the beach every day. The property is well equipped and ready for cooking and basically you can feel right at home.
Watch out for the cell phone service, it was barely working at the house and only at certain spots and the DSL internet was basically not usable.

We're glad you agree with us that this house is in a great location (Southern California has some of the best beaches doesn't it!) We know that cell service can be a challenge at the beach and have since added reliable internet Phone service and cable TV at this property (10/9/14). While we've received great feedback about the den room (with its wonderful "Bar") we appreciate your comments and will look at our floorplan on the website and figure out how we can make it more clear. We hope you had a memorable stay in Southern California and have many happy memories.

Fantastic Location

We loved the location right along the beach. This was a perfect venue for our family gathering. The private beach was great for my sisters kids, and we spent hours watching the waves roll. The only reason that I did not give the house a perfect score was some maintenance issues with lights in the bedrooms. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

The house and location was great. Had a great time. My biggest issue was that my family got 3 parking tickets the day after we arrived. You emailed me about this but we already had gotten the tickets before reading your email. My suggestion would be to email guests 2-3 days befor the arrive about the street sweeping. Also the clock in the master bedroon does not work and the second floor porch lights do not work.

Overall fantastic experience. We will be back but a couple of things need attention. Although advertized that salt and pepper would be available, there was no salt in the shaker. took about a day to figure out what was "beeping". Turned out to be the refrigerator warning that the filter needs changing. Please change it! Water tasted bad so we used bottled water during stay. Couple of the umbrellas need changing out as they are broken. Finally, wireless conection was so unstable one of our party had to "bail out" and go into work despite having made prior arrangements to work from the property.

Awesome place, love the private beach, fire pit, and tons of upper and lower patio seating/space. Just read the description carefully and realize there are really 3 rooms, and the "4th" room is the downstairs living area that has two futons. But that being said couldn't have been happier with the place!

Family Reunion at the Beach

This is a truly wonderful property right on the sand at Oceanside. The little private beach at the front of the house was perfect as our 1 year old grandson could play under the shade of the umbrella and we had easy access to the house. Beachfront Properties provides an app that gives information about the property (access codes, address, etc.) as well as links to anything you might want to know in the area. Everyone had a wonderful time and I am just getting ready to book again for next year.

Great Home ---- But it was even better last year

This is our second time staying in the property. I feel like the home must have changed owners because there were a few little things that just didn't make it as fantastic as our last visit. Little things that were missing - a wine opener - extra pillows on the bed - the lounge chairs this year were rusty and not useable. Nothing major and we still had an amazing time but it was just not as perfect as the last visit. There is a gate that allows access to the public walkway to the beach. The year prior this had a padlock on it. I would have preferred that people couldn't walk into our backyard from the private walkway. We picked up a combination lock while in town and kept the gate locked when not in use. Overall the location is great - the property is beautiful but was just lacking that extra touch that gave it 5 stars across the board last year.

Beautiful, confortable home

The home at 1919 So. Pacific exceeded our expectations. Details like the wine cabinet, large closet and dressing area, and bathtub made it more an elegant home, than a vacation house. The bottom floor was perfect for the family, with a complete bathroom to shower off after playing in the ocean, plenty of room to have dinner, a refrigerator to store drinks and snacks, even a fire pit to sit around after dark and talk about the wonderful day. All the bedrooms faced the ocean, with access to the front no picking the best room for my sons. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting the very best that the beach had to offer! The owner gave this home a lot of thought, care and planning and truly did an excellent job in creating a perfect get away!

We had a great time as always. The only recommendation I would make is that I think the property needs ceiling fans. When you are not used to humid conditions it is nice to close up the house and have fans and A/C but the A/C did not seem to work great alone and believe fans would have helped.

Great Getaway!!

This home is right on the beach. The views are spectacular from all rooms in the home. Pictures do not do the property justice. We loved our stay. The home is a 5 min drive to the pier and to Carlsbad, where there are some restaurants, but not many. If you're looking for a true getaway this is the place. If you're looking for other things to do besides the beach and relax, then you might want to look elsewhere. We will be going back for sure!!

Best family week EVER!

We just had a great week with our four adult children, their spouses, and two grandchildren. When we walked through the door of this beach house everyone let out a whoop. It makes a great first impression! Spectacular view from each floor, beautiful and spacious. Extras like a gas barbecue, large umbrellas in stands, boogie boards, beach chairs, a well-appointed kitchen, sun room for eating meals, and bathrooms on every floor. The spacious covered back patio and large sand area made it perfect for watching the little ones play. The adults loved all the places to sit and read in the sun or shade. The beach is right there, with plenty of space to walk and play in the water. With 10 adults we all felt there was plenty of room to spread out and have privacy, yet were not crowded when we were together. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The Perfect Home

We have rented homes in Oceanside for the past several years. This home was by far my favorite. My husband & I were on a working vacation so the location of the sun room was just what we needed. The sound of the ocean cancelled out any noise from the house so we were both able to work without any interruptions. We went with another couple - their 4 year old - our nanny and our 1 year old daughter.
As far as I am concerned the gals at Beachfront are my only choice for vacations moving forward. Not only did they find us the perfect home but they also were able to get me in touch with a service to deliver a crib - bedding and safety gates prior to our arrival.
It couldn't have been better!!

The house and the closeness to the beach were unmatched. The city of Oceanside is a little too quiet for us and not much around the area to keep you busy. We went down to the Zoo, and the Del Mar Racetrack, and Horton Plaza, which were all 45 minutes away minimum with the traffic on interstate 5.

Generally tasteful decorations in the home albeit a bit of an 80's style, but the real wonder is the view which was gorgeous and timeless. The Dolphins jumping and riding the waves was a total delight. Cooking facilities were excellent except for the placement of the barbecue which caused a small fire. The property management Company is very responsive and the housekeeping is excellent. Except for a few glitches (The code to get in the house was never sent to us causing last minute panic), our stay was wonderful. We did run into some illegal activity in the town, more then we are used to in Gilbert Arizona (drug dealing, a man exposing himself, and people using the yard next to us to have sex in full view of my three year old grandson).
