Love this place

Our family loved this house. The views and sounds of the ocean were perfect. The only thing I would inquire about next time, if I had to work remotely, is high speed internet. I had to login to work and it was very slow. I appreciated the text communication and received a fast response when I reported a rain leak. Great service, clean house and a beautiful place to stay!

The location was good but the outside cushion covers were ripped and the couch cushions inside the complex were dirty. Also, there was a limited amount of dishes and plates in the cabinets. Please take care of these issues as I have been vacationing at the property for four years and plan to come for many years to come in the future.

Perfect for our large family

This place was perfect for our large family. Plenty of comfortable beds! The view couldn’t be better, slept with the sound of waves crashing all night! Close walking distance to the pier and lots of good places to eat and shop. We had a plumbing issue and they were very responsive and took care of it quickly and with great communication! We will be back for sure!!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property!! My Mom just turned 90 and loves the ocean. We needed a place that was handicap accessable and this fit the bill. The elevator from the parking garage was a tremendous help! My Mom was able to move around the condo easily with her walker. The ocean view is beautiful and the sound of the waves breathtaking. I was impressed with the text I received welcoming us and asking if we would like someone to meet us when we arrived. The building is quiet as we never heard anyone from the attached condos. I did have to text about one of the bathroom slider doors coming off its track. The text was responded to quickly and a very nice gentleman promptly came to repair it. He had to return the next day but was very considerate of our time. He spoke very kindly with my Mom and wished her a very happy birthday!! I also sent a text to ask about checking out and if we needed to do anything...start dishwasher, strip beds, etc. They said we didn\'t need to do any of that and to just enjoy our stay. Amazing!! They did have those instructions posted in the condo, I just didn\'t see them. The property was very clean and was exactly as pictured on the website. We had a perfect stay and my Mom loved it!! We couldn\'t have chosen a better place. Thank you Beachfront Only!! We will be back!!

I stayed at P809-4 with a group of friends to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and it was absolutely amazing! On the day of check-in, I received a text from Beachfront Only with specific check-in instructions as well as an offer to have someone greet us at the property. Despite arriving too late for a greeting, the texts had all the relevant information and I really appreciated the offer anyway (very thoughtful of them!). When I had questions (such as do we need to take out the trash or do the dishes -- no to both, which is amazing on another level and so different from AirBnB!), all I had to do was text the number and they answered prompty, which I also appreciated. The walls seemed pretty thick as we did not hear any of the other visitors in the other connected properties, which was nice as well. Overall, the property was very clean upon arrival and was exactly as pictured. My friends, boyfriend, and I had a wonderful time and were obsessed with the views. At night, we even saw the stars and constellations (Orion and Big Dipper). It was magical!! The only issue we had, which is at no fault to the property or the management, was that my friend's car got broken into while parked on the street in front of the property. He had left his car unlocked and someone stole his wallet out of the car. This has nothing to do with the safety of the property though, but I included it to warn others to make sure they lock their cars!! Overall, I'll most likely book this again if I were to visit the area again and I've already recommended this property to some family members 🙂

Beautiful views

This condo was the perfect size for our group with beautiful views and an enclosed porch perfect for December. The downside was we reported there was no hot water our first evening and they could not dispatch someone until after 8 the next morning. We did not end up using the hot tub, it had been stagnant for a while and the chlorine tabs delivered didn’t help the issue. There were minor things to be fixed, but should look at having someone on call to fix necessities like hot water. Other than that, the condo was great and response time for everything else was good.

Beautiful home. This place was even better than the beautiful pictures online. Beds were comfy, the kitchen was HUGE! There were only 6 of us so we had plenty of room in this location. The only thing i would suggest is to provide coffee, sugar, salt pepper, those basics we had to run to the store to get. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay

This property was in a wonderful location. We loved the space so much. It made us all so comfortable with a fabulous view that we were completely content to spend a lot of our time hanging out together inside. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and feeding our big crew. We were within an easy walk to the beach and the pier. Also a short drive or walk from the harbor. Family Getaway

The property was amazing! The interior was beautiful. Rooms were laid out well and more than able to accommodate our group of 12. Although we did not use it, the availability of the jacuzzi on the patio was a nice benefit. The location to the beach was very convenient also. Fantastic weekend!

Overall our experience was wonderful! Location is amazing and the accommodations were very nice and spacious for six of us. We enjoyed the hot tub and endless ocean views. We were, however, disappointed that upon arrival the kitchen counters and floors were dirty. What I did appreciate was that the rental company offered to send someone over to clean. They were extremely responsive whenever we had an issue and very easy to reach via text. I would definitely rent from them again. Due to COVID, we cooked in all of our meals and enjoyed the view! We did take nice walks outside on the strand. Great location!

Perfection

We stayed here for a quick getaway and it was paradise! The place is right on the beach...Just beautiful! We stand in and cooked our meals and y had everything we needed. Thanksgiving family retreat

It was lovely, the accommodations were more than my family expected. Every room a delight. The kitchen was fully equipped to handle any occasion. Views awesome a truly epic holiday for our family.
There was a glitch with the codes checking in which on a rainy day was stressful foe the hostess, me! Your response time was great very quick & efficient.
It was difficult to get out of parking garage on Wednesday evening had to go to outside gat to open inside gate. This is just to let you know so you can check it.

This condo is so beautiful and spacious. Perfect located at the beach and all you can hear are the waves. There were people staying in the condos above and under us but we could not hear them at all. Large, clean, amazing view!

We had 15 women for a bachelorette party and this place was perfect. Everybody had a place to sleep, we all fit around the table/dining counter for meals (brought in a private chef for dinner), and even had enough space for a yoga class and massages during the day. There was also a gorgeous view of the water that helped us feel like we were at the beach while in the apt.

Sheets not clean

It's a wonderful unit in a great location with a well stocked kitchen, but the first night my 39 year old daughter found sand in her bed at the foot of the bed. Obviously the sheets had not been changed on her bed. Who knows if the sheets had been changed on the other beds. Completely unacceptable and I paid over $8,000 dollars for this unit for our 5 night stay.

Oceanside Beachfront

The place was nice with a beautiful view of the ocean. However, the condo room we had appeared to be still under renovation. A couple of paintings fell off from the wall. Our hot water wasn't working. The jacuzzi outlet had to be troubleshooted. There was still tape on the wall from renovation. The floor was super dusty and dirty. There was a door that led up to the second floor with no security lock because it was still under construction. For the price that we paid, I don't think it was worth it given the condition the condo was in when we arrived. Maintenance was helpful in arriving to get things fixed, however, I expected the condition to be better kept and ready to hosts guests. It felt as if we were the first guests and everything inside the home wasn't tested out yet to see if they work properly. The glass sliding door leading out to the patio got stuck and two toddlers were almost injured. There was no trash bin in the kitchen which we thought was odd, so we had to make our own. Some of the rooms had two sinks which we thought was odd: one inside the room, and the one for the bathroom--unnecessary waste of bedroom space? Other than that, it's nicely located near lots of restaurants and shops, beachfront, and spacious. I'd advise the owner to really clean out and check out the place to see things work properly before renting it out.

This place is amazing!

This is our second year using this property for our annual business retreat. Everyone just loves it! It is a beautiful house with plenty of room and amazing views. You just can't beat the views!! Sunsets and dolphins and waves... what more do you need? In addition, the property is managed very efficiently. Any issues are immediately addressed and communication before, during and after your stay is top notch. Excellent customer service! Last year they even recommended a caterer to have dinner brought in. We did that again this year because it was so successful! Dinner at sunset on the roof... simply perfect! I highly recommend this property. We will be back!

Perfect beachfront for big weekend

We rented this condo for our big day so our wedding party could stay together and hang out. The condo itself was beautiful. Had all the amenities - hot tub, bbq, rooftop patio. The place was much larger than it seemed it would be, more than enough room for 20 people. On top of that, the view is unbeatable. Slept like a baby listening to the waves.

Oceanside family reunion

Rental company very responsive and easy to work with. Several maintenance issues were cleared up quickly. View is outstanding and house was very comfortable for large multi-generation family group. Rooftop area was wonderful except awkward when shared with other renters..total lack privacy. Biggest complaint is that the floor throughout the unit was filthy. Our granddaughters feet, hands (entire body of crawling baby) were completely covered in brown filth. We even mopped the floor each day and couldn't get the grime up. The common areas of hallways and elevator were also quite dirty. KEY concierge service worked great for baby rentals.

Superb place

We we're only here for a short period (3 days, 2 nights). The house was incredibly clean and easy to navigate in finding the essential things for our stay. Very spacious house, there we're four of us on a work retreat and we had plenty of private space when needed. Great communal space for eating / talking also. Didn't really get a chance to use the roof top as it wasn't really a vacation for us, but the space look fantastic also! View from the front room was spectacular, windows pulled straight back and opened everything up as if you could touch the ocean. The building is not close to a sandy beach so if you we're thinking you could walk along the sea front on the beach this isn't possible at all times, only when the tide is out. Parking and entry to all doors was very convenient and they were dollies to help get bags/groceries upstairs. There's also an elevator which was very helpful. We we're lucky that no one else was in the building at the time (there are four apartments) so we didn't have any noise at all other than the ocean!

Family vacation

We had an amazing time here. The place was spotless. The location was perfect. The view from the roof top made a great photo opportunity for a family picture. I didn't realize the roof was a shared location with the other unit. It is only separated be a rope. It would be nice to have more privacy with more than a rope.
We had a great view of the ocean.
The pier is walking distance of about 1 mile and plenty of restaunts to walk to, without the traffic since it's about 1 mile.
The trail ends in front of the unit, so there is not a lot of foot traffic so we got privacy.
I reported a window that didn't close and someone came within the hour to fix it.
I would stay here again and hopefully longer.

Christmas at the Beach

Pros: Home was clean, easy to get into to, very roomy and worked very well for the 15 of us. The view is incredible!! kitchen was well stocked, even had a spice rack which made cooking easier. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent. Once we figured out the thermostat we were very comfortable. Plenty of room for the trash and recycling too. Very well stocked. great location, easy parking underneath, and at the street. Beds were very comfortable, pillows were great, sheets soft. Cons: bedroom window in the Pearl room does not shut (so that room got pretty chilly at night), toilets are on a sump pump so they take forever to fill back up, which means, you can not flush twice in 5 minutes unless you get a cup and fill up the tank. needs a few extra blankets to have one for every window bed/seat, hottub is in a terrible location. the firepit is tiny (although, run by gas and they were full tanks) and if you have neighbors you share the rooftop, there is a rope that separates the two halves. Overall it is a great place, and if we have this many folks, we would certainly stay there again.

Awesome Rental

Great view, great location

We had a family reunion and stayed at this lovely location for three weeks. There were 10 to 14 of us at any given time. The view was fabulous, it was within walking distance to the pier and lots of restaurants and shops. We like to cook so although the kitchen was spacious it wasn't very well equiped for this size of group. Limited pots and pans, the ice maker was broken, kitchen knives were few and all very dull (we went out and bought a set), the eggbeater didn't work (bought one of those also). The electrical switches in the back bedroom just had a sign that said "not working" so you had to turn the lights on by a pull string in the center of the room - a little odd for a rental at this price.
However, the beds were very comfortable. The roof top deck was great too.

Wow!

This luxurious property was much more than I could have imagined. Our children, their spouses and the grandchildren called it "home" for 10 delightful days. It is centrally located to Disney, Sea World and Legoland. In addition we enjoyed the beach. The house is furnished very well. It is spacious and bright with a wonderful view of the ocean where we saw dolphins and sea lions. The rooftop is worth the rental price...we had dinners on the rooftop as we watched the beautiful sunsets. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

A Bit of Heaven On Earth!

My grandparents lived in Oceanside just a few short blocks away when I was a child. I wanted to have my children and grandchildren experience what my summers were like. We invited my parents and siblings to join in the fun. This home was perfect for our family. The roof top was amazing for all of our activities and visiting. Inside also allowed room for everyone. We hosted a family/friend reunion one evening with those who lived close by and easily accommodated 25 people. Our 2 teenager granddaughters were more than thrilled to have their own space in the roof bedroom. The little ones were able to enjoy space to play with all their cousins. The view from inside and out was magnificent. The beach came and went depending on the tide so we did need to plan accordingly. The elevator was perfect for hauling things up from the car and for our guests with limited mobility. We were disappointed that there was not a gas grill, just a bouquet BBQ. We were able to find adequate parking on the street and it helped greatly you have the two underground parking spots. The facility was very clean and for the most part well stocked. We did have to purchade a can opener that worked. We would definitely recommend this facility and would rent again.

Three families gathered in this lovely home for a relaxing beach vacation. The home was amazing! The rooms were large and comfortable. The decor was perfect for a beachfront home. The kitchen was stocked with all the items needed to make a meal. Every evening we would go to the roof-top deck to watch the sunsets. The staff at Beachfront Only were wonderful too. Location is great, located at the end of the beach road, so there is not a lot of traffic in front of the balcony area. We love staying here, because the house is roomy, and sleeps so many...16! The unit was spotless, stunning and luxurious. our family of seniors, teens, babies, adults loved the space, the kitchen, the laundry machines, the rooftop deck etc. Dont be scared off by the boulders . there is easy beach access via ramp right outside your door just a few steps away. short walk to the pier for bike rentals and fishing for 5 dollar rod rental . was amazing, took the whole family to fred astaire dance studio a couple blocks away for a group dance lesson just for the fun of it. it was awesome.

A great beachfront rental for families

We stayed 7 nights in 809D Pacific and loved our stay. The main floor was very commodious and well-decorated.We especially appreciated the ADA room because our sister is handicapped, and we appreciated the elevator which allowed her to participate fully in our events. The rooms on the main floor were well furnished and attractive, quite large enough for whole family gatherings. The layout of the property was very inventive, allowing us to get to the spa, the "penthouse" bedroom, and down to the beach easily. The two parking spaces were a plus, and we were glad to have a permit for a third car in a nearby lot. The deck on the third floor was magnificent, and we had two meals and lots of relaxing cups of coffee in the morning up there. The "penthouse" bedroom needs a new dresser, but otherwise it was well decorated and even featured a refrigerator. Two windows of the "penthouse" needed to be fixed; the person who slept there did not feel completely secure. Everything was clean and supplies provided as stated. The staff were very friendly and very helpful -- a delight. We mostly ate "in" because we were so large, but we enjoyed a meal out at the King Fish Restaurant in Carlsbad -- great seafood; ask for Kelly, our outgoing and informative waitress.

Lovely for Family Reunion

Really lovely place for a large family reunion. Plenty of space for 15 people, from age 6 to 83, especially with the lovely rooftop space. Everything was clean and inviting. The kitchen was completely stocked with everything you need to cook for and feed 15 people. The property management responded promptly to requests for additional parking permits and chairs.

The only disappointment was that at high tide the water comes up all the way to the rocks in front of the house, so you have to walk a quarter mile to get to sand. Also, it would be great if the hot tub were not isolated in a small separate location on the rooftop.

Overall five stars and I highly recommend!

Our Second Stay at this Location

We came back because we do enjoy this unit.
We like the turf on the roof that was not there the last time we came!
We had problems this time with unauthorized people accessing the rooftop. One of the coded gates was off so anyone from the lower levels or off the street if the street gate is not fastened, could ride the elevator to the roof. 4 couples were there for over 4 hours one day! The office was able to loan us the elevator key to turn off the access so that helped. But hopefully the coded gate will be replaced soon.
There is often a problem with the roof top use. One of the days we were there, a large family in the adjacent unit, who had access to the roof, used the entire roof to do a family project. Something needs to be written to define whether the entire roof is available to both units who have reserved the rooftop or how you decide who uses the entire thing when; or if you are only allowed to use the half that goes with the unit you have reserved.
It would be helpful to have an electric grill in the kitchen and some mixing bowls.
It would also be helpful to consolidate the kitchen utensils enough to have room to put some food.
The beach towels were the same solid color as the bath towels so it was difficult for the children to distinguish.
Don't get take out or pick up a catered dinner from Los Tacos! They didn't include 4 of the items that are on the printed order form for our taco bar (pico de gallo, lettuce, cabbage and guacamole) . Very disappointed that when we called back about it they offered no apology, said it was too late to get it that evening, but maybe they could give us the lettuce, cabbage and pico if we came by the next day!

Great house awesome location. We were in town for an event at Legoland and this spot worked out awesome. Slept 15 comfortably and had great access to the beach and activities. The views were outstanding. Our only hiccup was that we thought we had a check out at a later time and the day of the check out we had to scramble to make it out. The check out time is crazy early compared to what we were accustomed to and we were then called and told that we would need to pay a penalty. The penalty was waived and we made it out ok but it was not a fun way to end an awesome trip.

Home was wonderful! Much room for all of us Athletes and our Bikes! Home was clean.
My only recommendation would be that more cleaning supply ex: paper towels, broom, also ran out of toilet paper.

Just what we were looking for.

We rented the house in order to renew our wedding vows of 20 years. It was a very small get together with our family and a family friends family. There was plenty of room for all of us. No one tripped over anyone else and no one had to wait for a bathroom (bonus)! Plus with a family that likes to cook, we had room for multiple chefs in the large open kitchen.

The location was perfect and the roof top was just the place for the renewal and photos. Again the location was perfect. We went to sleep every night rocked to sleep by the thunder of the waves and woke early every morning to the gorgeous and serene ocean.

The house is not new but it is in very good condition. You can tell it is well maintained, but it has little quarks like the showers make a little noise from the pipes, but it is so NOT important when you think about all the good things the house has to offer. Only other bad point is limited parking. (May I suggest that you have the cleaning staff park someplace else so they don't take up all the curbside parking)

All in all you can count on us coming back as we LOVED our time there.

Great Reunion ocean vacation location

We gathered our family of 30 plus and rented 2 of the Condos for 6 days. Ages from 14 months to 68 years old. We also booked the 2 roof rooms and the roof. Great time all together for meals on the roof. Plenty of sleeping space. Both kitchens were in use all day preparing 3 meals for the family. Our family enjoyed fishing, boating, ski do's bogy boarding, surfing, walking the pier, walking the beach and more. Several even booked a paint ball session at camp Pendleton. Best reunion ever. We hope to return in 2017.

Couldn't ask for more beautiful views which included watching dolphins play, a sea lion, and an occasional whale surface. So much fun with our family. The tide was high so we had to move down the beach quite a distance for the kids to play. The beach house was large and well planned for our family. The door and gate codes were a bit inconvenient but it was a great time overall.

Best Weekend Ever!!!

In honor of my husband's 50th birthday, we rented this luxurious beachfront home in Oceanside and invited 5 other couples to join us in the celebration. I am grateful for the advice I was given by the Beachfront Only staff in selecting this particular rental because it truly fit our needs PERFECTLY! The home itself was incredible and the location was stellar. We had ample room to hang out, whether it was around the kitchen island preparing our meals, in the living room playing games and enjoying our cocktails, or absorbing the picturesque views of the Coast from the roof top deck. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the entire home was so well equipped that we were never lacking for supplies of any kind. We even enjoyed a stroll down the boardwalk to the Pier. The only downside to our stay was that it was too short! I would absolutely return to this rental but next time I want to stay at least a week!!! Beachfront Only does an amazing job maintaining the condition of their rentals and anyone looking for a vacation rental should look no further! My husband LOVED his birthday weekend. Breathtaking family vacation

There are no words that you can use to describe this view. It is absolutely stunning and my family had a blast. The pictures on the website does not accurately display how amazing this place really is. First I would like to thank Shiva for her patience in answering all my questions and trust me I had a lot. She was very professional and that really allowed me to remain confident in renting out the condo for my family. I stayed at P-908D and it was very spacious for 17 family members. We could have probably fit 20 if we really wanted to. 6 Bedrooms 4 Baths Nice Hot tub! The Kitchen and living room were both very well kept and all the appliances worked great. The only thing I would suggest for beach front would be to get a top of the line grill. I think they provided a coleman coal grill and it just did not cut it for 17 people. All in all I would re rent this place in the future! Thanks Beach Front for such an unforgettable experience for my family!

Making Family Memories

Gathered our family to share time together as our Christmas gift. Came from 3 states; 6 adults, 5 teenagers (2 in college) & 10 year old. The pictures show the property correctly. Very comfortable. The window seat thick cushions being perfect seating & lounging especially at the front tinted window toward the ocean! Having the elevator was divine for us grandparents as well as anyone carrying luggage/groceries from garage to second level. Kids all used the stairs. The beach access a few steps down the Strand was perfect for beach fun. Being on the top floor the boulders did not block any water views. The roof deck is great & the roof deck room was claimed by two of the teens at night...all of them during the day. Note: a total of 3 TVs - master bdrm, living room, roof room. Worked ok for us but some may prefer TV's in each bdrm. Our Christmas gift of making family memories with each of the generations was great fun!

Terrific Spot!!

Our family of 8 had a tremendous time in San Diego. The rental was immaculate, the kitchen was well stocked but needs some work on quality of utensils (dull knives, the can opener wouldn't open a can) but lovely cookware and we did fine. We had unbelievable sunsets on the roof, everyone had space for quiet time (or time out as parents dictated), we were within minutes of many activities, watched dolphins every morning, played in the sand etc etc etc. We appreciated the locked gate to get in the compound and the garage parking was an added bonus.

This was a great rental for our family function. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the property, the size, amenities, and location. The only downside was check out was really early at 10am. We felt very rushed getting out in the morning. Late checkout was an option but for a large fee. Would be better if checkout was at 11am or 12pm like other hotels. Otherwise everything was great.

She Is.... Leadership Retreat 2013

We did not have a good understanding of the codes when we arrived late, but thanks to the nice lady we talked to late in the evening, she got us in in minutes. Beautiful property and views!!

We loved the windows in every room and the beautiful views of the ocean. A small negative was the damaged cooking pans, which were hard to cook with. Also, the upstairs room on the roof was cold and could have benefited from a better heater. Otherwise, we really appreciated how professional and accommodating Beachfront only was during the reservation process. We are looking forward to our next retreat in one of their homes!

Great Beach Front Home

Stayed at 809D unit for 4 nights with family and relatives. This was our spring break vacation. Newer 5 bedrooms unit on the second floor with great million dollar ocean view, access to roof top deck with an extra 6th room. Elevator service from the ground floor garage is a plus for my mother-in-law who is wheel chair bound. ADA compliant. Reserved parking for 2 cars. Plenty of street parking available. Unit is impeccable clean, well decorated, and well furnished. Kitchen is well equipped - just bring foods. No air conditioner but there is no need for it. Ceiling fan in each room. Comfortable beds. Beach and bath towels are provided. High tide to beach area directly at front of the unit but usually receded (low tide) by noon time. A short 5 minutes walk to nearby beach and a small playground for the kids. We all enjoyed our stay. Feel just like at home and better. Will definitely come back.

Fabulous unit with plenty of space for our group of 11 to spread out. It was wonderful for all to hang out in the window seat and look out at the surfers. Definetly will stay with BeachFront again.

Training Trip for a College Swim Team

This house was phenomenal for our group! We actually rented both 809C and 809D for our group of 25 (including 21 college swimmers). We went to Sam's and loaded up on food. The girls cooked nearly every meal in the house and it was a great bonding experience for all of us.

It was a lot like being at home. The appliances are up-to-date (actually very nice), the washers and dryers helped us get through our stay with only 1 checked-bag each, and the beds were very comfortable.

The property is easy to get to and there's plenty of nearby shopping and dining...not to mention the beach!

The house was super-clean and had everything that we needed to keep it tidy.

The only negative thing that I could say about our stay is that everyone with AT&T cellular plans had really bad service inside the house. But, if you're on vacation, you don't need your cell phone anyways! In a way, the bad cell reception was kind of a blessing.

I strongly recommend this property. We stayed in January so I can just imagine how beautiful the same trip would be in the late Spring or Summer.

Great lovely place with wonderful views and great security! Only two minor points: 1. North side access door (down the stairs) was found open and unlocked when we arrived. 2. We had to inform the elevator checkout crew that, after finishing their checkout, they had not turned on the elevator (we think Beachfront Only staff should monitor this better). Otherwise, we had a wonderful quiet stay with easy access to area attractions with photo opportunities.

The condo was wonderful. Very spacious and well appointed. The view was great but the actual sand area was very narrow and by 11:00 a.m. the water came right up to the rocks. Since we had several children with us and wanted to play all day at the beach we had to move to another beach location during the daylight hours to set up umbrellas, towels, etc. Since I specifically asked the agent on the phone about how much area there was on the sand I felt she was either purposely misleading or uninformed. Everything about the condo was wonderful though, we just needed more beach.

During this guest's visit, the tides happened to be at the high point in the middle of the day, and the low point early in the morning and later at night. The tides are always shifting, and we can not predict at what points of the day they are going to be low for each and every stay. You can check tide conditions here: . Also, when the tide is high, there is sandy beach just to the north of the property, not even a block away. We have been fortunate enough to be able to build so close to the water, so yes there will be times when the waves come all the way to the rocks. But there are also plenty of times when there is plenty of beach! We hope this clarifies the tide situation. Also, we have posted a photo on our blog of the tide at 3pm on July 31, to show the condition of the beach. /

Overall it was a great place. Our visit was marred by some bugs: cockroachs came out onto the kitchen counter when we used the oven.

Three years ago we rented the same property for the same group of family members. Our last visit was a VERY successful stay. This time however we experienced some inconvenience items that I will describe below. We did have Allen try to take on item.

While you ordinarily will not get positive feedback on all aspects of the stay you will get negative feedback on items that proved negative. The property did provide a successful stay but there were several items that concerned us but we did not notify Allen on each item since we were there to enjoy our stay and not for general repairs and fix-it items. The first item was the condensation that was evident in the ocean bay window that compromised the total view of the ocean and sunsets so much an attribute to the property. The stove lighting system [reported to Allen]who called in a repair person but he "clicking" sound continued at burner lighting on the "L" front burner. We experienced an ant attack in the kitchen at the sink area on Sunday. On Monday we were awakened by someone trying to break into the unit [front door]and the police were called to investigate. Seems the front gate was not locked. The coffee pot did not provide coffee at the level brewed [ie 12 cup produced from 1 cup to 7 cups] at each morning of our stay. Blinds covering bedroom windows at least two BR locations fell from the shades as they were opened or closed.
