Amazing 4-bedroom vacation home sitting directly on the ocean! This is the LOWER LEVEL of a two-unit villa. This one-story rental has a full kitchen with granite counters, travertine floors, a living and dining room that looks straight out to the water, and an oceanfront patio that with patio furniture a BBQ, and a private spa! There are 2 washer and dryer units, so when you return home, you will not have loads and loads of laundry! Nothing was spared when this rental was built. Portable AC units available upon request. Come escape to luxury on the beach!

The home is exactly as pictured, it felt clean and had plenty of space and a great view of the ocean. However, this was all diminished by the lack of privacy. Specifically, the lower-level unit has to share a gate with the upper unit and the unit to the left. This may not sound like a big deal, but that gate just so happens to be on the "private" patio where the spa and fire pit are. While sitting around the fire and enjoying the view, several random people just appeared on our patio and it was startling at first. This continued all night with people coming and going from our gate. This shared gate was very annoying and did not seem safe, as the street-level gate also just seemed open to the public. This unit needs to work on more secure gating, it felt like anyone could come on our property at any time.

Gorgeous view, comfortable stay

This was our second time in this particular unit, we love it so much! The smell of the salt air, the glorious sunset views, and the sound of crashing waves can\'t be beat. Any issues we had were taken care of right away. There\'s some what appears to be storm damage on the patio, but it was the same for all the properties across the coast line. And it didn\'t detract from the loveliness of our stay. We had everything we needed and more! Thank you for another successful relaxing stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Any problems we had were taken care of right away. There is minor wear and tear inside and what looks like storm damage outside, but this did not detract from our lovely accommodations. It wasn't just our place, many houses/areas along the coast appeared affected by the winter storms. This is our fourth rental with Beachfront Only. Can't wait to come back!

We had great difficulty with the Wi-Fi in that it we were kicked out repeatedly and it was buffering all the time. About 5 times we were kicked out of U tube due to too many users at the same time. We were only using the 1 TV in the unit. Very frustrating. The lack of a secure gate at street level and onto the beach was also a concern. The glass block walls separating the patios was very unstable and I am grateful we did not have small children as it could have fallen on them. Finally, in the unit to the south there was a smoker who was smoking in the pathway between the units very very often. I know you cannot control that but her failure to move away from the unit greatly limited our ability to enjoy our patio. We did enjoy our time but would likely not rent this unit again as there were so many people around us. We will look for a unit with a bit less activity in the future. Thank you for your prompt response to our requests during our stay. Your staff was very friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed having Victor meet us when we checked in. It was definitely a nice touch and not when you see other places. He was nice professional and very helpful and responsive. Having that start to our a little mini Vacay was just what we needed to set the tone for the weekend. We love inside as usual. But we had a lot of flies due to trash cans next to unit and flytrap was empty. Grill igniter did not work. Repaired but still did not work. Felt cookware too small for more than 6 people.

We had a great time. The location is perfect, amazing view, short walk to the strand. A few things to note are that there is no a/c in the rooms they did drop off a portable one which was nice; however the outlets in the bedroom where we wanted them didn't work. My family and I enjoyed our stay at the property for the weekend. There were a few things that I recommend improving to make future stays better. The guest beds sank into a hole in the middle of the bed making sleeping very uncomfortable. The mattress' needs replacement. The outdoor furniture had some almost broken legs on the outdoor chairs and the outdoor table. We did find a few dirty spots on the guest beds. With the rates that is charged, I would have expected the furniture to have been in better shape and the outdoor garage pinpad was not working with the provided code, which we needed to have the technician come out and reset. The view and location was the best part.

Beautiful location with plenty of space!

We stayed for two nights with two kids and our pup. The view of the ocean was amazing—we sat on the patio watching dolphins and enjoying the scenery for quite a while. It’s about a half-mile walk to enter the beach, where you’ll also find the boardwalk, food stands, a henna tattoo stand, bike rentals, and more. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing Views

Overall, I was pleased with the rental. Some of the pros: Amazing views, kitchen was well stocked, hot tub on the patio was a treat, living area was spacious and bright. Some of the cons: many areas were very dirty including the areas around the window air conditioning units, door frames and lock boxes. Due to the layout of the home, all of the bedrooms and bathrooms are extremely dark. While one of our service requests was taken care of right away, we never received a response on the second. The first day we arrived, we have a decent storm. Waves splashed up onto the wind barriers and rain was hitting the patio doors. Once it cleared, I asked to have our windows cleaned so that we could enjoy the view. That request was never followed up on, so we had salt spattered, smudged windows for the rest of the week.

Million Dollar Views

This was by far the most amazing property I have ever stayed at. It sits right on the Pacific Ocean. The luxury of this property was far beyond what I had imagined. Summer getaway

The property overall was good and we enjoyed our stay. The views are amazing and sunsets were beyond beautiful. The guest bathroom shower door was extremely difficult to open and close.. definitely needs some maintenance there. the hot tub malfunctioned twice (first time they came out next morning to fix it and second time shortly after our call but it was not hot enough). Not a lot of privacy as there are all types of people walking right in front and side of your patio all day (and pretty late at night as well) but no one bothered us per say. The property has everything you need to cook a meal. The sleeping arrangements were good. Plenty of towels and sheets as requested.

Ocean Front Property - AMAZING

Great location on the Strand, but fortunately just a bit further down than where the cars can drive, which was a real blessing. Huge place, quiet bedrooms, clean, great response from rental company, outstanding communication on their part. Loved the panoramic doors-they also provided a very quiet space when closed. Beautiful getaway

This was our second year staying at one of these properties - we will always choose them! There were no major problems (we found a funyon one the floor when we arrived)but we did have trouble getting into our door. It wasn't anyone's fault but mother nature's (daylight savings time made the lock think it was an hour early and wouldn't let us in). But they took care of it right away - just a few minutes after I called and we were let in. The house was a little musty, like no one had been there in a while, when we first walked in but a few minutes of the open wall in the picture and we were aired out. There were 7 of us sharing and we all had plenty of room. The mattresses in the bunk beds were a little firm for my taste, but others love it that way. The kitchen was well stocked and we had every pot/pan/utensil in there we needed to cook. You can't beat the location and the patio is our favorite place to be, from morning coffee to nighttime cocktails. It perfect!

Wonderful Stay!!

We booked breach front house for 2 nights. Enjoyed every moment of it. Really liked the space and the location. Great amenities and comfortable environment. We walked to the pier few times, spent time in the ocean, did bbq and made s’mores. Kitchen had everything. Plenty of spare towels and beach towels were available. We were 10 people but the space can easily accommodate up to 15-16 people. Highly recommended vacation rental!!!

All staff was magnificent as usual... every need was met with a fast response... extra table/chairs, gas for firepit, extra coffee pot etc. I have the same “complaint” as last year...please replace the master bedroom mattress!! Fun getaway

This beach property is very nice and spacious. The kitchen lacked in pans and the coffee pot did not work, but when we called management they were there very quickly to give new pans and coffee pot. The hot tub was great for the kids because they cant swim in the ocean directly in front of unit.. This hot tub did not keep water in it, but management came and filled it up quickly.

Great Escape

It was a great escape because there was no cell receiption which should’ve been publicized to us at least in our written agreement. It was nice escaping from that, but not so convenient when you need your phone since it’s your work phone and you work remotely. It was a gorgeous place and beautiful view to wake up to. Although, it wasn’t fully ready for us as we arrived, they came immediately after every call to fix every need so their service was impeccable. I will most definitely be returning, but this time with my mifi.

Great Beach Front Getaway for the Entire Family!

Overall we were very happy with the rental, and will most likely be back. The location was perfect, and while it didn't have an easily accessible beach right out front, this actually cut down on the amount of people and traffic. The low tides allowed us to swim for the majority of the day. And the view was phenomenal. The rental had just about everything we needed, and easily slept the number that it stated. This rental had four bedrooms, each with it's own connected bathroom. The app they gave us made access easy, and answered almost all our questions. The outside grill was the only problem, and Beachfront Only had a new one installed the morning after I input the trouble ticket on the app. The tandem garage can fit two small cars or one midsize SUV and a small car. I fit our Traverse in there, but only with the mirrors tucked in, and the driver had to squeeze out. The rental office was about five minute drive away to park more vehicles, and there were a few street side spaces here and there. Thursday evening Oceanside has a huge food festival down by the pier, so we walked down there and had a pick of about 50 different types of food in a family friendly atmosphere.

We had a great time at this rental, and would highly recommend this property to anybody that wants a fun worry-free vacation in a beautiful location.

Very nice. The new accordion window was a huge surprise! The pictures online didn’t look anything like the actual condo: beds in front living room were gone, kitchen bar wasn’t there and there were bunk beds added. It actually turned out fine. We had a family reunion of 15 people and the unit was perfect for us! It was extremely clean and well stocked and the management company was very responsive and helpful when we had a couple issues. The only negative is that, even though it's on the pacific coast, there is no beach access in front of the unit. We had to walk a ways to get to the beach, which was an issue for my 80 yr old mother.

Great Place

Nice but no sports channels on the TV and hot tub was small and turned the codes off at 9am on the day we left. Lucky we didn't go for breakfast that day or we would have been locked out. All in all fantastic place to vacation.

Beautiful view

stayed 6 nights with our adult children and and young grandchildren. The floor plan worked ideal. We had 4 couples in our party and each had their own bedroom and bath which provided the privacy we enjoy. The kitchen is well stocked and designed for quite a few people to work in it at a time. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the evening listening to the waves crash up against the rocks and watching the flames by the fire. It really was lovely. We had a few maintenance issues with the spa but were pleased with how prompt the management sent a service tech to resolve the issues. We were pleased with our stay, the only draw back if I have to be really honest is while the property is very clean it is beginning to show signs of wear and tear. The water in the spa didn't feel as warm as you would expect for a hot tub, it was more like a warm bath. Having said that, this property was well worth the $.

Beachfront rental

Our family enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. The proximity to the ocean was wonderful, and a short walk to the Oceanside pier was a delight. The condo was adequatly furnished and we enjoyed the 4 bedrooms. The spa on the patio was great at night with the waves washing up on the rocks just a few feet away. We were disappointed with the 20+ fraternity dudes that showed up on friday. Very loud and disrespectful of the other tenets to the side and below (us). We asked them to be a little quieter in a kind way, and didnt get to far with that. Perhaps some screening would be in order for potential renters. Other that 2 days of the frat party fest, it was great.

Great Beachfront Rental

I needed a place to call home for 11 days after I sold my house and before my new one was ready. What a great decision. This place was unbelievable! They had everything we needed. And the view...WOW! I didn't want to leave! I will definitely be back and would recommend this and their other rentals as well. Location was great and I just can't say enough...

Very Large & Clean

We have spent many years vacationing at our local beaches, this was the first time in Oceanside. This company was very professional and efficient with getting us information and organizing a smooth stay. This was probably the biggest and cleaniest beach house we have stated at. No mold in showers. Fully loaded and I mean fully loaded. Towels for all of us. Extra sheets for beds. The view was amazing out the large windows. Each bedroom had their own bathroom which is a huge plus. Only thing I can say of a con was no air conditioning (but most beach houses don't). The extra parking for family was a perk as well as a washer and dryer in our rental. It's very close to Carlsbad outlets for shopping, another perk.

Our family enjoyed the large 4 bdrm condo on the beach. The layout of the condo worked well for our extended family. It was wonderful to hear the sound of the ocean, watch the sun rise from the front patio and the sun set in the hot tub. Would definitely recommend for families who enjoy the beach.

40th Anniversary Celebration

We had a wonderful time spending a week and celebrating our anniversary with our 3 children and their families. It was very close to beach access where we spent most of our time. We love the area and will continue to make it a destination. One of the only drawbacks were people sitting on the rocks out front and obstructing our view, also our door and the residence next door opened in the same hallway which made for alot of noise. We did however meet some terrific people. And the staff was very helpful if there were any problems

We had a good time. The inside of the property was great-roomy, well equipped kitchen, etc. Unfortunately, it was very noisy - neighbors and construction both. This was very graciously handled as best as possible by the management when we expressed dissatisfaction.
We prefer direct access to the beach and a bit more privacy, so will probably opt for a standalone house next time on a wider beach...

Loved this Beach Front Property! Just the perfect distance from the pier and your own beach area access right below the house. We stayed on the ground level and would do that again! Called twice for questions and the property management team was professional and prompt! Perfect family reunion spot

We loved our stay in Oceanside! It was a family reunion for my in-laws and their three sons and families. This Beachhouse was perfect, with big rooms and attached bathrooms for each separate family, along with a huge front kitchen and living area. The location was perfect as my kids were ecstatic to go to Legoland, only about 15 minutes away. The beach views were stunning and having the beach so close was phenomenal. The only downside was that it was so close to the beach! At high tide the water was right up to the rocks. Simply amazing! We loved this place and will definitely stay there again!

The construction was great. Good attention to detail. It felt like the owners put some thought into the design. Mosaic tile floors are not easy to install and the bedroom doors were solid wood. Bedrooms and baths were tastefully decorated. The view was amazing, the furniture was steam cleaned prior to our arrival. The only complaint I have is the units are too close together. From he bedrooms, the other unit is about 5 feet away. I could hear everything that was going on next door through my open window. Garage parking is tight, but happy to have 2 car parking. Would stay again!

Family vacation in beautiful Oceanside beach front house. The home was exactly as it was described,a beautifully remodeled home with great views. we decided to have a get together vacation with my parents and siblings. The children loved the ocean and playing in the sand. We are Armenian and we love to barbecue, the charcoal barbecue grill was definitely a bonus, especially right on the beach. We loved everything about the house and city. And would totally recommend this lovely beach front home.

Best Family Vacation Ever.....

After we moveed in a small issue came up..the in house phone and the wi-fi were not working. We called the number they gave us with our cell phone and with in minutes the maintance man came fixed the problem, what service. The family played out on the beach just foot steps away most of the day. Since we are from Phoenix this was an experience of a life time. The surrounding area wasn't that great but we went out without concern for our safety..This truely was a wonderful place the insides were just like you see on their web site and was everything they said it was.....Diffently would consider a return visit in the future. The whole experience of staying in the vacation home was fun.The unit was clean and was at a perfect location in front of the beach. Fully stocked kitchen and basic necessities available. No hassle with hanging on to the keys as they have security codes for garage and doors. Could not have asked for a better place to meet all my friends for a re-union. The jacuzzi in the unit we were was not generating heat as much ...but the water was warm enough to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean 🙂

Labor Day Weekend

The home is beautiful. It was clean and had everything we needed. I was a little hesitant about the rocks on the beach but after a couple days I decided they were a bonus. It kept the children a little bit safer and although we only had beach to play on in the afternoon because of the tides it was never crowded. It is a very short walk to get down to the beach. It was lovely! We hope to go back next year!

Moms getaway!

This was the second time we rented this house for a long weekend getaway with a bunch of Mommies and we were very happy once again with our stay. The hot tub had a few issues but the maintenance staff was already there working on the house next door and fixed it right away. The rooms are wonderful and the kitchen is fantastic! The house is located about a mile from the Oceanside Pier. While the beach near the pier was packed with people our beach felt private and secluded. The neighboring guests were families and the area was calm and quiet. The house has four rooms that are all equally spacious each with an ensuite bathroom. The hot outdoor shower and jacuzzi were wonderful post swim.

Spacious, Clean and Beautiful

We stayed in this unit for a family vacation with 7 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. The large window seats make great beds for the kids; they are probably as wide as a regular twin mattress. The unit was amply stocked with towels, linens, cookware and dishes. There was a grocery store less than a mile away with everything we needed. The beach is literally out the back door, and the kids loved playing in the waves and watching dolphins out the big bay window. We were close enough to all the activities we wanted to do (Legoland, Balboa Park, Sea World etc.) yet far enough away from the city to feel like we were tucked away in a quiet seaside town. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat. My only complaint is that the water in one of the bathrooms was scalding hot and didn't seem to get cooler unless you left the tap on for several minutes. This isn't much of an issue for adults, but we had very young children in our party that could have been burned. I've no doubt that BeachFront Only has already addressed the problem.

We took our entire family including 4 grandchildren for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a memorable vacation and the property was a huge hit. We would definitely consider coming back sometime in the future. The views from the front windows are spectacular. We found ourselves curled up on the window seats just enjoying the view! We did have to deal with ants in the kitchen, but the property managers sent someone out to spray the exterior and we set out ant traps inside and that seemed to help. The hot tub was a little bit unreliable but we still were able to use it most of our stay.

This place really is home away from home. Pack light... everything you need is there huge beach towels, inside shower towels, and linens. The pictures you see online are good but do no justice there is plenty of room to seperate for alone time, or all gather in the living areas. Like I said I can't wait to go back next year. Thanks for your comments. There are ants all over our planet and sometimes the really want to come inside our homes. We have since put ant spray under the sink in our kitchens just incase this happens. We also have a full time exterminator for each of our properties.

The icemaker did not work the entire two weeks. Although we paid $250 for pets, they only stayed two nights as we could not keep them separate from the unit south of us. No reimbursement was forthcoming.

Thanks for your comments. We wish you would have let us known about the ice maker. We would have been more than happy to bring over a bag of ice for you. The pet fee is to have the carpets cleaned, drapes and upholstery. As many of you pet owners know, its the dander that our pets leave behind which is something we take really seriously for those who have bad allergies.
