This is an amazing two-bedroom unit, in a triplex, which sits on the street level, overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. There is a large living room and kitchen with granite counters and appliances, plus everything you could ask for to cook for your group. This unit has everything you could possibly need for an amazing beachfront vacation! There is no outdoor patio for this property, but the dining/living room has floor-to-ceiling glass windows that completely open, so you can let in the sun, breezes, and sound of the ocean. Portable AC is available upon request.

Great View
by BenWe stayed for 5 days and had a fantastic experience. The condo is so close to the water that at times you feel as though you are on a cruise. We sat at the window for 4 days straight having a difficult time pulling ourselves away from the amazing view.

Amazing View
by DonnaWe were thrilled with the view from the living room, especially with the glass doors open. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The sight, sound and even the slight spray from the crashing waves was awesome. As another reviewer mentioned there is no beach access from the unit but there is plenty of beach access within a 5-10min drive or even a walk if you\'re so inclined. We found the unit very clean and well kept. It was also nice to have an enclosed garage to park in. Again as another reviewer mentioned, the coffee cups are TINY and ridiculous to try to drink from. The T.V. is also very small, but we weren't there for that and never even turned it on. Both beds were very comfortable. Individual A/C units and ceiling fans were in both bedrooms. There were a few minor issues (exhaust fan in the master bath wasn\'t working, very loud/squeaky door for the under sink cabinet in the master bath and the ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom made a loud scraping noise) but they really didn\'t detract from our overall stay. On a side note, in case this would be of concern to others, the patio from the downstairs unit extends beyond this unit so when the other renters are in their hot tub or just hanging out in their patio, they can look up and see you if you\'re sitting in the chairs in front of the glass doors (which we were the entire time we were inside the unit). This didn\'t bother us as there was a lovely family staying there with adorable little ones who liked to wave and say \"hello\" to us in the morning. People walking or jogging on the path outside can also look up to see you. All of my communication with the host/property management was via text. I found them to be very responsive and they answered any questions I had very quickly. We experienced a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and would definitely recommend this property.

We enjoyed the amazing view. Clean interior and comfy beds. Just a few items that need to be addressed in the unit (master bath exhaust fan not working, cabinet door beneath the sink in master bath was so loud I was afraid it would wake even the downstairs neighbors, ceiling fan in the second bedroom makes an awfully loud scraping noise) and those TINY coffee cups in the dish cabinet are laughable. The pros outweighed the cons, so I'd be interested in returning and would recommend the property to others.

Location. We have stayed at this unit for 2 years we love it. Only thing we would love is downstairs with patio but they are all 3 or 4 bedrooms. We do love the privacy of the second floor though. We will be back next year!

Beautiful condo with beautiful views! Love the sliding doors, we kept them open majority of our stay. The garage parking is a little challenging if you have a truck. In our assigned spot, if we pulled all the way forward we were practically blocking the garage door/washer & dryer, but backed up slightly and we were told by another guest we were blocking the lift. Host did their best to understand and accommodate and we ultimately ended up parking on the street. Overall, it was beautiful, clean, and convenient and we would definitely stay again!

Great location and views of the ocean. We had the full wall windows open all the time. Good restaurants within walking distance. Beds were very comfortable. Management was responsive. Luckily we did not need the AC which did have a high pitched whine that would have been unacceptable. So great experience for us and would go back.

Great view but there were problems....

The unit had a beautiful view, however, I had to park on the street because the lift was blocking my other parking spot. The TV was waaay to small, our door lock broke, not our doing, but the office was quick in sending someone over to replace it, and the wifi never did come on, so we had to go outside to the street to make or receive calls or texts. But overall we had an enjoyable week, minus the hiccups. Would stay here again just not it that unit, don\'t want to park on the street again.

The unit is small and has very limited storage. We had several maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. Staff is friendly and responsive. We had a major incident, not our fault or the management, that necessitated our being moved. Staff was courteous and efficient and over delivered to keep our vacation on track.

The overall experience was fine…not really happy that there is no sand within walking distance, this should be noted in the information when researching properties. In the kitchen please put adult sized coffee cups, I felt like I was drinking from kiddie cups and also the TV is sooooo small…for this sized property the TV should be much larger and put a Tv in every room! My daughter rented a home about a mile away and the dishes and TVs were plentiful and big!! I noticed when walking along the frontage road every house had huge TVs. The house floors were not clean, I know we’re at a beach but I felt the sand right away when we walked in. I did appreciate the quickness of the staff when we needed a refresh of linens and the cable people were really nice, even though we were not the ones complaining about the wi-fi not working. The wi-if left a lot to be desired, not sure it’s because of the area but it was bad the night we first arrived. I would recommend these properties to friends and family.

I so love the view this place has. I was very disappointed that the high back chairs were gone , instead low chair low back not as comfortable to sit in enjoy view and read and get out of . Please take a new picture to reflect what do have. Ceiling fans in bedroom need to be tightened up as too noisy to use. Loved the ac units able to cool down rooms. Please provide written instructions for tv and ice maker use. Still a very enjoyable time.

This is a second stay in a property with a lift in the garage. Doubt we would stay in one again as an uncooperative guest blocked us out more than once and BeachFront didn’t seem to be able to do anything about. Our smoke alarm had to be replaced due to malfunction. BeachFront did get someone there within an hour or so. Also it would be nice if there were a small table to put between chairs (as pictured on website) for drinks, snacks when enjoying view. I improvised with a luggage rack and two cutting boards. Also with a unit over our heads, we heard every step taken by upstairs guests. We have stayed with BeachFront for the last 8-10 years and have to say was a bit disappointed this year.

It was a great place with a wonderful view. The pillows in the living area did have a bad smell. I also wanted to let you know the main bathroom shower drained slow. Lastly the last night we were there someone down stairs was Smoking weed. I did have my two young children and was a bit upset at this.

We had a wonderful time. We had 2 issues that taught us to ask better questions next time. 1) Although this was an accessible unit, because my son cannot stand independently, he had to shower where there were grab bars but use the sink in the master bath. 2) The parking garage space was very challenging because of its size. Everything else was great.

If I had to point to one absolute aspect to address, it’s the cleanliness of the sofas and chairs. The janitorial service seems good, but the sofas and chairs are a bit on the gross side.

Was very disappointed in the living room furniture, the chairs are not the same as the use to be (like the ones shown online) they looked like they were from a thrift store and very uncomfortable as is the couch. The seating at the table is also very uncomfortable and 2 orange chairs are very ugly, low and no support, thrift store also. Basically everything needs to be replaced. I do love the property as this is my third time staying there. The view and set up is amazing. Will be back next year if the furniture is better, it is also misleading from the online photos.

This property on the beach was amazing!!! We kept the windows open all day and I love the sound of the ocean!! It was so close! And only a 15 minute walk to the pier. I was a little sad that the restaurant at the end of the pier was closed but there was a lot of other restaurants around. We had garage parking which was great and a washer and dryer in the condo so very convenient. We cooked in quite a bit because the kitchen was great. Loved it!!

Fantastic View with a side of stress

My family enjoyed a great stay and LOVED the epic view. Amenities were good.
Downside was I specifically asked if we would be in walking distance to the ocean to set up our chairs and stay put. Answer was yet but the reality was that we have to walk about a mile to reach the accessible beach area so we drove each day.
Code to open door was wrong - and it took a while to get the correct code texted. That was stressful after a long day of driving. Ice maker didn't work and no response to 2 of my texts. While driving home, we received an email that we had a new charge of $150 for pets. We had zero pets! I texted and the reply was that housekeeping reported lots of pet hair in the bed! I replied that it could be hair on my son's hoodie that he washes every couple wears. Rep apologized and said she would credit within 10 days. We shall see. Check your bill is my advice. Overall, nice stay. But it should be for the amount we paid.

CJ, thank you for choosing Beachfront Only and for leaving a review. Our sales team is comprised of local Oceanside residents and are aware a sandy beach during high tide is 6-8 blocks away. Most guests do enjoy the walk down the Strand however we understand driving would be more convenient. Our goal is to be nothing but transparent. We are sorry about the mix up regarding the pet hair, we steam clean upholstery after a dog is in one of our rentals… Our hard working housekeeper mixed up units. Absolutely Beautiful Condo!

This two bedroom condo was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed for a great time. We even had evening entertainment sitting in the living room and watching the dolphins playing right outside of the front window! I would book this unit again when we return to Oceanside.

Almost Perfect

We had a pretty wonderful trip. Upon arrival the beachfront only team seem to have been able to organize a pod of Dolphin's to swim past our window view... very spectacular 😉
The apartment was very well appointed with everything you could need in a stay (better appointed than any airbnb I have stayed in) and very clean. The view is second to none and location to town and the main beach is super close and perfect. Note that the noise restrictions make for a very peaceful stay.
The WiFi is TERRIBLE (and cell reception doesn't work so that is not a back up option) and is the biggest disappointment. You will see other reviews comment on this and really is something the Beachfront team should invest in. It really is as bad as the reviews make it out to be - to the point where it's almost as if there is no Wifi as you cannot rely on it.
The beachfront team is exceptionally responsive and polite except for one team member who was horribly rude to me when trying to help fix and issue that really shouldn't have happened in the first place. It was right on our first day and really made the first day a bit sad for me to be treated that way.
All in all I would say the value for money is great and you will have a wonderful trip. Maybe call in advance to discuss options re: Wifi if that is a necessity for your trip.

My heaven on Earth spot

So many good things to say about my stay at this rental.

I sent a pictures to a friend and he said you might as well have a place in the middle of the ocean...that is how it felt, so awesome to watch the tides come in at night. The space in this unit was perfect and so easy to get around to enjoy the places around. The place was in great space, but the chairs did need a little repair from wear and tear along the arms. I wasn’t able to find a cutting board which was odd since there was many items to use for cooking while staying there.

Amazing vacation home

The most amazing view

We rented the unit it was very well-equipped it was very clean the garage was spacious lots of room for are vehicle The unit was close to everything bars restaurants shopping grocery stores we checked in on Saturday there was a bit of noise from other people Vacationing they were respectful Kept noise down We only had one problem it was an Internet problem and had nothing to do with the unit or the management we phoned and they sent somebody over right away to help repair the problem I would 100% recommend this unit anybody who would want a nice and quiet place with an ocean view couldn’t be happier my only regret is I didn’t stay longer

We had a terrific experience with Beachfront properties. We rent vacation properties quite often and this trip ranks as the be of the easiest rental experiences. Beachfront Only kept us up to date, offered advice and concierge service if needed to make our trip more enjoyable.
During check- in we had problems opening the front door...BFO sent over a representative within 10 min.
The unit was clean, well stocked and the views were just amazing.

One Amazing Girls Trip!

Cozy but Charming

We have been coming to this area to vacation for nearly 20 years, and we have used Beachfront Only exclusively for about the last 10 years. Their properties are always well cared for and well-appointed, and this one did not disappoint. However, there are some challenges with this unit. The street side bedroom is not en suite (when we rented the description said it was, but the floor plan showed it accurately - I believe the description has been corrected). The street bedroom in particular is very cramped. The bathroom in the ensuite bedroom is very small; the door barely clears the toilet. The floor plan is a little deceiving, but the virtual walk-through is pretty spot on. With that said, the common area is a very effective use of space, and you cannot beat the views! Just keep in mind, it's under 800 SF, so it's not spacious. I could not imagine having more than two couples in the unit for any significant length of time (we were there a week). There is hanging space in the small armoire in the larger bedroom, but otherwise, no closets and only a bureau and pegs on the wall in the small bedroom. The portable AC units are less than ideal (noisy and awkward), but we were glad they were there when we needed them. Unfortunately, the beach is not easily accessible from this location at this time. We would stay here again, but probably only for a long weekend.

Great location

There were pros and cons about this rental. The location was amazing and very peaceful. It was fully equipped with all basic needs. The only complaints we had were not being able to open bedroom window due to floor air unit, and the black fence in the garage! It made it extremely hard to navigate around it and even backed into it with my brand new BMW. Was not very happy about this to say the least. It appeared our neighbors had a hard time as well,attempting to pull in 4 times before finally getting in because of this fence. I also had a problem with a maintenance truck that was parked behind my car, keeping me from leaving.

Great Family Town and Home

I have 5 thumbs up on coming back to this rental unit and town of Oceanside. We have older college and a High School kid but there was family fun beach activities, surf lessons, restaurants, and brew pubs many in walking distance. Perfect location to beach hop or sightsee on day trips north or south as well. At night we liked watching and listening to the ocean crash below.

Nice rental for the week

Condo was as described with a beautiful view of the ocean only feet away from the balcony. Furnishings were superior to other vacation rentals we stayed at and we appreciate the extra bath towels, supply of beach towels, and large tub of laundry detergent to use during our stay. We were a bit disappointed that the beach was not usable due to the large rocks and tides, so if you are looking for a place where you don't have to walk a bit or drive to the beach you may want to keep looking. Limited reception in the condos. You can send a text but will not be able to make or answer a call. Not a big issue for us.
The only negative experience we had was that we rented a surf board during our trip and it was stolen out of the locked garage. This space is shared with other vacation renters in the unit. We were disappointed that after a call and email to the property management company and a reply that they would look into it that there was no follow up with us as to if the other vacation renters took or borrowed the equipment. We ended up having to purchase the surfboard. Lesson learned that the garage space is not secure.

We are glad that the furnishings were superior and that you loved the extra bath towels, beach towels and detergent. We would love to address the beach issue, the City of Oceanside has replaced the sand for the last 30 years, this was the first year that they did not replace the sand, plans are approved for replacement this fall and we are looking forward to more beach. The cell reception is rough that the beach, we recommend that guests utilize the wifi mode of calling on their cell phones. We are also sorry that the surf board went missing during your stay. We do recommend that if you rent equipment you keep it locked up. The garage is shared and can be left open by other guests. We hope that you come and stay again. We had a really great 2 day stay. We arrived on Friday to a perfectly cleaned second level unit. I called beach front to get A/c in the unit turned on but it was never turned on. Please follow through with these requests. Or don’t offer them. When you get into the garage it’s very complicated to find the door to your specific unit. We did a look around and eventually found it. I was worried about the parking situation being that we had 3 cars but there was a few spots around the neighborhood which we snagged up and 1 car in the garage. My only 2 notes from this stay was the noise from the running children above at 6am. It sounded like a hurd of rhinos running back and forth and so on. Definitely not what I would consider relaxing. Secondly the windows were not clean by any means. When you don’t have a balcony and all you have is a panoramic window you need to be able to see out of them to the gorgeous view of the ocean. While this is minor I would seriously consider this when cleaning the place. It was a wonderful stay for my friends and my husband and I. We will definitely try another unit... maybe we will be the rhinos next time.

It's a great rental. I would only be careful about some of the people in the area. Their where bums on some of the beach and area outside of the rental. Sketchy people in the neighborhood that did not look like residents. Other then property was clean and it had a great view of the beach.

I had heard about Beachfront Only homes, and finally had an opportunity to stay in this hone. The communication is organized, simple and easy to follow. Once we arrived, there were even instructions to operate the TV.
The views are magnificent. You can't be any closer to the water without being in it. We sat in comfortable chairs and watched the waves crash on the beach. The sound of the ocean and view was amazing. We could have stayed here forever, it makes a perfect hideaway while still being close to restaurants, etc.
The home was spotless, customer service outstanding. We definitely recommend this home and any others owned by Beachfront Only.

What a great stay.

We stayed here while we attended the Breeders Cup. First, the staff at Beachfront Only are top notch. They help in every way. I had a package delivered two days ahead of time and they handled it flawlessly. During my stay, I had a slight parking issue with another guest in a different unit, the staff took care of that problem quickly. Can’t wait to stay again.

Perfect Girls Weekend Away

Came for a weekend away from the kiddos with some girlfriends and enjoyed the beautiful condo, the roaring ocean, the location, and the ease of booking/arrival/entire stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and bars. We did have a difficult time with the wifi, but maybe that was a blessing in disguise. So nice to unplug! Incredible accommodations

Had a fantastic weekend, everything you could need was provided and the view is one of a kind. The location was great with a lot of local restaurants within walking distance. We also have a "what to bring" list on our website. While we do provide you with a lot of the basic items to get your started, such as a coffee maker and filters, we do not provide coffee. Home away from home

My husband and 3 children (ages 7, 4 and 4) had a wonderful time! We were looking for a house/condo right on the ocean (at a price we could afford) and that's exactly what we got! The condo was super clean. Everything was brand new and fully stocked. There is a community gas grill that we took advantage of. There is easy access down to the beach right in front of the condo. However, when we were there (mid December), the tide was up to the cliff until around 2:00. There is a very nice beach, complete with playgrounds, within walking distance though so it was really not a problem. The garage situation was a little (a lot) confusing with the numerous codes, etc, as was how we were supposed to get to our condo initially (a note on door exiting to the hall would be helpful). We had a huge Tahoe because we needed 4wheel drive for our visit to the mountains at the beginning of the trip. It fit, but we were the only ones using the shared garage during our stay. Not sure how we would have fit if we were sharing with 4 other cars. Parking on the street is also minimal. Oceanside, in general, is not as good as some other beaches for activities and nightlife, but if you are mainly looking for a beautiful place to stay on the beach this is the place for you!

Stunning ocean view. Great visit for peaceful winter getaway. Would love to come back again! Everything provided for a comfortable stay. We cooked most meals from home and enjoyed many walks on the beach. Management company quick to respond to

BEST OCEANSIDE VACATION STAY EVER!!!!

For a vacation unit, This one is live in ready. Everything needed in this unit is available, kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes ETC.... Rooms are comfortable and inviting. THE VIEW is perfect, ocean is literally 20 feet away. garage is secure and location is close to everything. I can't say enough about our stay other than THE BEST OCEANSIDE VACATION STAY EVER!!!! Can't wait to go again period!

October 1-2 Getaway

Overall good...Internet was down the 90% of the time and cellular services is non-existent in the unit; very inconvenient. A/C was out but management did supply portable units. This is our second stay so looking out for our 5% discount on this stay:)

Relaxing Weekend!!

It was absolutely awesome! Incredibly relaxing and peaceful! Right on the waves and an ocean view like no other! WIFI is weak but that is the only draw back. Everything we needed was there. Oceanside itself has many restaurant options and many pubs to choose from. Beach front was great to work with and we will be back!! Miss it already!

One of the Best Vacations

My only complaint is that we were not able to stay longer!! What a spot, so beautiful! The Condo was clean and very well kept. The floor plan was perfect for my family of six and one small dog!! Looking forward to next summer and a longer stay!!

Oceanside

Location was perfect. Being able to walk out the door to the beach is the way to go. The property was clean. Laundry in the unit was nice. Maintenance response was timely.Wifi, very poor. Upon arrival the garage door code didn't work, but everything else a 10.

The perfect getaway!

Amazing getaway!!

Amazing View and Amenities

Not sure the website gives this condo it's due, was a bit nervous when we first arrived, but upon opening the door, I was absolutely amazed with the condo, it's literally brand new with all new amenities. The view is incredible, the ocean is your back yard, and the doors you see in the picture are nano doors, so your dining room becomes a balcony! If we get back to the west, we will be back.
