Views of the Pacific Ocean do not get better than this! Enjoy the views all day long in the gorgeous kitchen with granite counters and top of the line appliances or on the rooftop deck. All your bakeware, cookware, and linens are included. There are 2 washer and dryer units, so when you return home, you will not have loads and loads of laundry! Nothing was spared when this rental was built. Come escape to luxury on the beach!

Our family had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the ocean views and multiple decks! All the bedrooms and bathrooms were great - comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and loved how many areas we had to relax and play games. Four feedback points…the house listing should include that there isn’t easy access to the beach - it’s about a 1/4 mile walk and would be very frustrating to families with kids. The ocean views are incredible and we loved it but were disappointed we couldn’t easily spend time on the beach. Also, the couch cushions on the rooftop were torn and dirty and the two cushion chairs on the kitchen floor (facing the ocean) are dirty and the cushions are shot - they must be replaced. Finally, there was a missing chair at the kitchen table.

Perfect For Our Family

This is the second time we have stayed in this beautiful beach front property. It is just perfect for our family. We had plenty of towels and blankets and the sheets and pillows were just as advertised. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub failed to heat but the maintenance came over immediately within an hour and had it drained and cleaned and filled up again. We suggest that you bring some extra fans for some of the rooms are just a little stuffy and humid and the air conditioning in some of the rooms is a little noisy. This visit the tides were so wonderful that we spent most of our time down on the beach below our beach house. We flew kites grilled on the rooftop made s’more’s and had a fantastic time with her family. When little suggestion is I wish that the outdoor cushions and indoor cushions were in a little better shape and cleaner for us I felt that they hadn’t been cleaned for quite a while. We loved that there were so many gathering places so that we weren’t all in the same area crowded together we had plenty of room for everyone to go and just have some quiet time. Every bedroom was amazing and just what we needed.

Lovely house and requests were met promptly! Thanks! It was clean and neat. We enjoyed our time there. My suggestion would be to provide enough toilet paper for 3 days, etc. I understand people can provide more laundry soap etc if needed. We did go and get toilet paper but with the rental cost and classy house I believe t paper should be standard!
Oh also my granddaughter had an issue where guys from beachfront working/cleaning next door on the deck were taking pictures of her in her swim suit. She was on the jacuzzi deck not at the beach in public so very inappropriate!!

Perfect location

Overall the experience was great, with only 1 complaint. The location and view were absolutely stellar. At low tide there was a beach in front of the house, at high tide you had to walk a few minutes up the strand. Everyone was very happy with the house, though there was a surprising lack of spare blankets. One interesting side note, the house was listed as 8 bed 8 bath, but it was actually 8.5 bath and not in the way you would expect. The smallest bunk room which was obviously for the kids had a full and a separate half bath en suite. The half bath is not on the floorplan. The only real complaint we had was that for the 5 days we were there the hot tub never worked. The breaker tripped repeatedly which was easy to reset, but even still the hot tub never got to normal temperature. Maintenance came by twice and both times said it was fixed but it wasn't. I had read complaints about the hot tub in other reviews so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. For a high end rental I would have expected it to work or be fixed in a timely manner (especially given a few previous complaints in reviews) Other than that it was a perfect house for a group of 10 adults and 6 kids, a perfect location, and a view that absolutely can't be beat.

Beautiful scenery

beautiful surroundings, beautiful home and had all the necessary amenities. only downside is that there are 3 levels plus a few more stairs down to get to the front door (making it almost 4 levels). My rental was for a company meeting and I felt we were too separated and had to find each other. For a family vacation, I think this place is perfect and spacious.

What an Incredible Property!

We brought our church college ministry here for a fall retreat and we had an amazing time! It was stunning to see and hear the ocean from every floor in the house. There was plenty of room for all 28 of us, and we loved how bath AND beach towels were available for everyone! The large kitchen made it easy for us to cook all our meals in the house, and it was amazing to be within walking distance of the beach. We had some minor issues during our stay, but for the most part we were able to adapt, or we contacted the office and maintenance came out. There was one section of the house where the power kept shutting off, which maintenance concluded was due to the hot tub and an air conditioner being on the same breaker; hopefully they can fix that soon for future guests. We would definitely stay here or at another Beachfront Only property again!

Great time - bad information

Good rooms, pleasant gathering areas and overall a great place to stay.

Amazing!

We have taken our staff here the last two years, and each time we visit, we absolutely love it! The location was perfect and our stay was absolutely amazing! My only negative comment is that the house was not finished being clean by 4pm when we arrived. The floor was still getting mopped upon our arrival, but it was not too long before they finished cleaning and we could move all of our belongings in 🙂

The house was very accommodating for our large family; three children, spouses and grandchildren. Bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Heated bathroom floors were nice! As close to the ocean as you can get to enjoy relaxing ocean waves. Sandy beach nearby, but a short walk for adults, long walk for little ones. Overall very enjoyable, relaxing and fun!

A group of twelve from all over the globe including some Southern Californians stayed for a corporate strategy and planning meeting. It could not have been more perfect venue for us -- the rooms and bathrooms were great, the living room made a perfect place for us to meet and collaborate, and the kitchen was ample for all.

Great location and beautiful house

House was awesome and very comfortable. Great vacation house that is so close to everything. Even with 20 people in the house you never felt on top of each other. The property management company was very responsive with any questions or small issues we had (chains on fan lights breaking off). However, given the size of the house and the number of people it slept the refrigerator was a regular size (on smaller side) and only one stove/oven. This posed a challenge and required us to use coolers for all drinks and we had to shop several times during the week for fresh produce, grocery and dairy. that was only downfall of the property. If you plan to eat out every meal then that's a non-issue.

Awesome Oceanfront Rental

All we can say is awesome! This was the most beautiful rental and had everything we needed. The most incredible part were the ocean facing gliding door/windows on each floor that allowed for spectacular views and the cool ocean breeze to flow throughout the entire house. This home accommodates many families and each bedroom has it's own bathroom. It was very clean and well maintained The Beachfront staff was very accessible and accommodating.
There were many great local restaurants to choose from as well as a well stocked kitchen that allowed cooking for large groups of people.
We highly recommend this property. There is nothing like going to sleep with the music of the ocean waves to lull you there.

Great Family Memories

It is rare to get our five kids, all in their twenties, and their significant others all together in one place at one time. Getting away for even a short time is of the utmost importance for our family. We, of course, wanted our stay to be stress-free. One thing we didn't have to worry about was the beach house we rented. The house was exactly as pictured on the website. The location was perfect, the house very clean. We had everything we needed. We only had a few very small concerns. The dishwasher has a design flaw that when the bottom shelf is pulled out, it drops quite a distance off the end of the track. The rug in the family room must be fairly new and is still curling up on the ends. We were continually tripping over it. Until it starts laying flat, carpet tape could be put down to hold it in place. The most dangerous issue is the landing just inside the balcony door. When there is water on the balcony from the hot tub, the floor by the door gets wet. There is no rug inside the door to help soak up the water, so the stairs right there become very hazardous. One of the boys did slip and fall down that first set of steps. No serious injuries, but it could have been really bad had he hit his head or spine. Other than those things, I can actually use the word "perfect" to describe the rest of the house. Thank you for a wonderful, but too short, vacation!

Loving Life

We had a family reunion here and everyone had a wonderful time. We literally never left the premises even though we had plans to visit the zoo and other sites. The staff at beachfront were available whenever we needed and took care of all immediate needs. Our family rented the lower level as well which created a maze effect (getting lost) in the 2 units. Renting both units allowed the adults have a gathering area and the other area be for rest and television area. Can't say enough that this was the best reunion. This will be hard to top.

We've been coming here for several years and have never been disappointed. The unit we rented in the past was remodeled, so we chose this one. Honestly, we loved it as much, if not more. Our family has the best time ever and the house is comfortable, cozy, and has something for everyone. Lots of room for people to move around - never feels "crowded". We'll continue to be a "repeat" renter. We were delighted!

BeachFront Rental Oceanside, Ca

We had a great stay at this beach house. The house was very clean with a beautiful view of the sea. Our roof top terrace was amazing. It allowed for a beautiful panoramic view up and down the coast. Our only complaint was that the spa was pretty small seeing the unit we rented accommodates 14 people. Other than than we highly recommend this property. We look forward to renting this property again in the near future.

Perfect house on the beach

It was easy to check in with the codes provided, we essentially just arrived and got in the house. The house was clean, and the perfect home away from home - multiple washers/dryers, kitchen fully stocked with cooking accessories and small appliances (coffee maker, toaster, etc). The place is big - living area is great for large groups with plenty of seating at the kitchen bar, dining room table, and beautiful window benches overlooking the ocean. We saw dolphins every morning from the breakfast table. Beach access is perfect - walk right from your home to the sand, no crossing the street to get there. Also the beach is semi-private and free of crowds (only sharing with neighbors). Bedrooms/bathrooms have plenty of closet space and were well appointed. We would go back for sure.
If we have to criticize some things:
- Check out time is 10am, with $500/hour penalty for going over. Harsh and borderline rude, so you won't be enjoying your checkout morning at all.
- We knew Oceanside when reserving the property, but those unfamiliar with the area should know that you won't be walking to restaurants and cafes from this location. Some would consider the neighboring area a bit dumpy, but is full of beach character.
- A garbage disposable and sponges would be nice.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Yes check out is at 10:00. We need that time to fully clean and launder all the bedding and towels. For a property that large we need all that time to get our laundry through the cycles, before our next guest checks in. We hope to see you back in the future!

Awesome property and location

Our large family had a wonderful time at your beach house... especially appreciated every bedroom had own bath.. It was clean and had everything we needed for cooking and close to stores, when needed.. wonderful walks to pier and walks on beach! We would definitely recommend to anyone. Dream house except the mouse

The house was great, the deck and hot tub were a dream combination.
The only downside was the mouse in the house. My fellow house guests are terrified of mice so it ruined the experience for them and left me running around the house trying to catch it.

A great view and squeaky clean

Since it was a beach front condo, the view was awesome as I expected. However, the location of the condo made me a bit worrisome. When I was walking toward the pier, there were a lot of young adults with tattoos hanging around.
The inside of the condo was very clean, and the kitchen was big enough for three moms to cook things up. The only thing I noticed (as I always have with rental places) is that all the knives were dull and the non-stick frying pans were so old and peeling off big time. I highly recommend you bring your own cutting knife and a frying pan.
The living room and dining areas were big enough to accommodate 14 people. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Great Christmas gathering

Holiday together looking out on the pounding high tide surf
Every morning. Walks on the beach, the kids actually went into the water and made sand and rock castles and collected sea shells.
We watched the surfers catch the waves saw dolphins
Swimming right in front of our beach house The pelicans flew over
Our deck very night at 4:45 as we were watching the sunset from the jacuzzi.
We hired a great friendly chef to cook marvelous meals for us. What a treat.
The house was gorgeous with plenty of room. Loved it. Hope we can return.

Business retreat

Beautiful beach house. Our family had a great reunion. Helpful to have so many bathrooms with a large group. We only wish we had access to a fire pit with the weather being a little chilly.

There is not much sandy beach right around the unit. Lots of rocks and the ocean comes right up to them. We had to walk a little ways down the beach to find a sandy spot. Not a big deal, we still had tons of fun!

Great vacation home

This is the third year we've rented a property from Beachfront Only but the first time we stayed at this particular house. We came for a work related retreat (9 people total). We enjoyed our stay, especially the beautiful sunset every evening. The window in the living room opened up and let in the ocean breeze. The rooftop deck was a great place to relax and enjoy the view.
Some of the towels that were provided had stains on them but everything else was clean. The kitchen was large enough for all of us to cook meals together. It would have been nice if the house had board games and books for the guests to use.

Town

We loved the location of the condo, and felt safe walking around the beach and to the pier. However, the town was not what we expected - not the shops we thought according to the Oceanside website. No good wine stores, etc. The only other comment I would have is that during the winter, the hot tub temperature needs to be turned up a bit. Other than that, we had a perfect stay.

There is a brand new chocolate and wine shop called The Chocolate Bar in downtown Carlsbad---just 10 min from our properties on the 800 block of S. Pacific Street. The D-Vino Cafe and Wine Bar by the Oceanside Harbor is also well-rated. I am sure you would love both places! Please always count on our reservation staff as a resource for local referrals for you. Family Vacation

We have stayed at numerous places along the beach in Oceanside, This place was great plenty of room for the 14 we brought. comfy beds wonderful kitchen. buttttt, we could not have a fire which we are used to having each evening and the huge rocks in front of the unti were to big to even climb over if you weren't really careful. The tide would come in and you couldn't sit in front of your unit you would have to go down the beach away where there is more beach. other than that it was wonderful!

Great family vacation

Beautiful property with million dollar view every minute. We enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen and dining while looking and listening to the ocean. we all opened our windows every night and slept like babes. The flatscreen tv went out at 10:am and the staff had a brand new one in by 11:30(great job). We enjoyed all of the beach activities including dolphin watching and walking up and down the beach while our kids explored. We will be back soon. The staff did a great job describing all available properties to fit our needs. Thanks see you soon!!!

All Girls Weekend 2010

Curtains in dining room are falling out of their hooks - we re-clipped falling living room curtain. Light colored spots on living room rug. Old cigarette burn in couch seat cushion. Oven kept turning off during cooking & front right stove burner didn't light completely.
