This lovely oceanfront home is the LOWER LEVEL unit of a duplex. Perfect for a romantic getaway, this quaint property is located right on The Strand in Oceanside, CA. No AC, however, there are ceiling fans throughout the unit and additionally, our team provides small fans to our guests.

Additional parking is available at our office, located at 1640 Oceanside Blvd., Oceanside CA 92054.

Great stay!

I was searching for a place next to the ocean and I found just that. You can hear the ocean waves all day from here. Keep in mind you will have to walk about 5 to 10 minutes (beautiful walk down the Strand street all ocean view) to get to the sand area to walk down to the beach. Easy check in. Great location near train station, restaurants and more. As for the room itself it\'s a little outdated but otherwise the location makes up for it.

Great location and cute place!

Great location for walking around to stores, restaurants, and the pier. We really enjoyed staying in this oceanfront rental. It was the perfect size for the two of us and our dog, and the front patio/putting green area worked out great for our dog. She had plenty of space to run around! The access code and checkout code system worked great, we had everything we needed in the kitchen and for linens, and the grounds were well kept and nice to sit outside! We will definitely stay here again!

Great Location

Stayed in the upstairs unit B many times and love it. First time in unit C and it is a bit funky layout. Eating is only on the patio. Had trouble with the access code working when we arrived, but they resolved it and it worked fine after that. But the location trumps everything.

The property is in a great location, just off the south Strand. Plenty big enough for 2 people and 2 small dogs. The heater worked, so that’s a plus. Only draw back was that the float for the toilet would not shut off when the tank was full.

Great location

Close enough to walk to restaurants, pier, and beaches. Great location! Upon arrival when it was dark, it was very difficult to find because there is no house number. After confirming address with another resident, door said \'3\' and told we were in \'C.\' Parking directions we had did not say we were parking directly in front of neighbors house. Place was clean, floors are stained, but overall a nice stay and I would return. Staff was very responsive to questions when making reservation.

This is the 3rd time I've rented with Beachfront. The last unit I rented was the upstairs unit to this one which was a much better rental. Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed with several things: consistently lukewarm showers regardless of shower times; there were roaches in this unit; the floors were dirty upon arrival. Comparatively, I've not had these issues with the 2 prior rentals. I have a 10-day reservation for Nov 30-Dec 10th which was made prior to this visit and now I'm ambivalent about the rental.

Problem with Door code at arrival but staff responded to text and resolved. No coffee filter so that was a minor inconvenience. Strand is tricky due to traffic and noise but I was aware before I booked. I would warn about weekend traffic and noise to future guest. Place was clean and well maintained. Overall good place for home base on a surf trip.

The location was perfect and we had everything we needed for a 5 night beach vacation! The only downside was that the tenants above us got up at 6 AM every day, and the ceiling/upper level floor are so thin that we were woken up by them moving around. They tenants were not inordinately loud, it's just the walls are very thin. Otherwise, it was the perfect stay and we will definitely come back!

This place has lots of outdoor living, we got to bring our dogs, 2 parking spots, plenty of room, quick walk to the beach, fall asleep to the sound of the waves, watch the waves from the front patio. They even had muffin and cookie tins. We will rent from them many more times. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

It was overall great.. but...

It was beautiful and very cozy, when we first got there we checked in on a sat about 6 the people above us had about 6 people with music going and bbq and drinking which was fine didn’t bother us at all. But the next day we had my family over for my birthday we had a bbq and a small speaker playing music and the people above started calling and complaining and it was 6 and they continued to be rude we turned down the speaker to not bother them but they were being jerks. They kinda made it a bad experience and on top of that it was embarrassing to have this go on in front of my family .

Pleasant Oceanside Beach Spot

Overall, the experience was positive. The Condo was comfortable and had an excellent TV and Wifi. However, there were a couple of things that made the stay less than perfect. The vacationers that were in the top condo when we arrived on Monday, created a difficult situation with us on four occasions: First, they had two or three dogs with them: twice the dogs urinated on our outdoor patio: first time dog urine got all over the patio table and barely missed one of us working with our computer at the table; the second time a dog urinated it was quite extensive falling onto our patio area, again barely missing one of us who was lying on the patio lounge. Another time, one of the dogs vomited onto our lower level patio. While they were apologetic, the situation with the dogs being outside on the patio made it very uncomfortable for us below them as we were concerned that something additional might happen. It was not until after the 3rd incident that they finally figured out not to let the dogs onto the patio and to keep them inside their condo. In one other incident, the female occupant knocked her wine glass over and wine came pouring down onto the patio, this time splashing on my leg. Again she was apologetic (offered us a bottle of wine as a gesture, but we do not drink); we again accepted their apology and went back to what we were doing. Fortunately, our party for my wife's 70th birthday was on Wed. afternoon and they had vacated the upstairs condo by then. While none of these were any great calamity, any of them could have been much worse (ruining a computer, e.g.) and all of them resulted in a disruption to our peace, comfort, and relaxation. I recommend very strongly that you do not allow any vacation renters with pets in the upstairs unit (B). We could not turn the patio spotlight on and the instructions about the trash cans were confusing, so 3 units used the same one and they got quite full and messy. Finally, we had only one hand towel.

Great location

Overall this spot hit all our needs. The view is blocked when the front bungalow is occupied. Location is perfect for walking where you want to go, you can park and forget about driving. Cleaning crew unplugged WIFI when cleaning so the door lock wouldn’t work , in took about 30 minutes for maintenance to arrive making a late check in time even later.

Great weekend stay

The location is prime if your are looking for a great spot to play, and relax. Extremely close walking distance to food and shops. Plus with the board walk so close the people watching is spectacular.

Some hiccups but overall a great vacation spot

We had some issues with our neighbor about parking on our first day, but once I spoke with someone on the phone, everything was okay. Our toilet was acting a little funny and there was some miscommunication on how long the maintenance guy would take, but once it was fixed it worked great. Everything else was wonderful, we loved the shower dispenser and how fully stocked the kitchen was, even if we didn’t do any major cooking. We would like to come back and try another one of your properties!
