Every year my family and I take a beach vacation. We’ve mostly stayed in Oceanside because of the short drive from our home. We often use Beachfront Only because we have found the homes to be clean, the hosts to be attentive, and almost every amenity to be available to us. My father is 91 and my mom is 87 so there are a lot of things I look for to make sure it is easy for them. I love the fact that there is an elevator from the parking garage to the house. The space in the house was great! It was easy for my dad to get around as he sometimes uses a walker. The issues my parents had were that there were no safety bars in the shower. They said that was quite challenging for them. I read someone else’s review stating that the toilets were quite low and we 100% agree with that! That was very difficult for my parents. The bed was a little too high for my mom to get into but we figured something out for her. The other issues were that the stove did not ignite. We did mention that to the host because we wanted to make sure they were okay with us using a lighter when we used it. There is a leak around the toilet in the casita bathroom. Also, our last night there while watching a movie the power and WiFi went off in the family room and the tv in the master also went off. Kind of disappointing. The view in this house is amazing! We have stayed in this house before. You have to overlook the car’s driveway by, especially at night, because it can get noisy. You are on the Strand so you should expect that. But the ocean sounds makeup for that. There were 8 of us. My husband and I, my two sons, two nephews, and my parents. It was a lovely week! We made wonderful memories again this year and I definitely will continue to use Beachfront Only. Thank you for another wonderful vacation experience!

This property is absolutely perfect and we have stayed here before. This time we were able to use the bell hop to order groceries and have everything stocked for us before we arrived. The only complaint is that we arrived at 3 and requested for early arrival but were told the room was not finished being cleaned so we had to kill an hour. However, the floor was not clean as my feet were black from walking around the house. Also, it would be great if they could put toilets that are not so low.

As we walked into the living area, the view was breath taking! We had every amenity that we needed or wanted. We celebrated a sweet 16 birthday one night with family and friends and everyone had a spot to sleep. An outside area for bikes, sandy surfboards and beach chairs. Washer and dryer. Towels. Every kitchen appliance that we needed. Spacious and nicely decorated rooms. Great stay and great experience! Looking at the calendar on when we can return!

Let me start by saying this place is gorgeous and very spacious. The views are beautiful and the location is great. Now for the bad news… After a long day of sightseeing or beach activities, you just want to come back to the beach house and relax. Unfortunately, all mattresses sofas and loveseats were extremely uncomfortable and need to be replaced- badly. (We ended up dragging the dining chairs to the living area just to watch TV.) We would absolutely love to book this place again, but honestly, only if the said items were replaced.

We had such a great time here for a relaxing getaway. This location is central to so many activities while remaining peaceful and relaxing. We were walking distance from the Oceanside Pier, shops, restaurants, and, of course, the beach. The unit was clean and provided everything we could need, from beach towels to shampoo.

The place was great, everything was clean and spacious. We had 5 of us and there was definitely more than enough room. The ocean view was magnificent and we even saw some dolphins on Christmas Day (how magical?!). I personally stayed in the detached bedroom and the bed was very comfortable.

This was our 4th stay at this location. It is a wonderful dog friendly place to vacation. Plenty of room and a great patio balcony. This home has been and is still in serious need of new couches and mattresses. If you have a bad back, consider carefully. Everything else is wonderful!

This Condo had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation with family. We loved just sitting on the balcony, relaxing and enjoying the ocean. It was so nice having the separate casita for one of our couples to stay in. The management was very attentive when we had a minor issue with the dishwasher. Great restaurants were everywhere. We have rented this condo before and we will be coming back again for sure.

Our family enjoyed our stay thoroughly! The layout of the condo was perfect for our family from my senior dad in the casita to our toddler. Management was attentive and timely with answers to our questions. Love the underground parking. We are hoping to stay again.

It\'s our third time using beachfront only and it\'s always a wonderful time. I appreciate the small details like a clothes drying rack and water basin outside to wash sand off. Any issues were promptly resolved. The kitchen is well stocked and you can\'t beat the view with the sliding doors open. The doors themselves were a bit difficult to push, but overall everything was in good condition.

I will preface this review by saying we paid over $1,000/night for 4 nights. The place itself is nice but was really cheap on items like one towel per person and single ply toilet paper. Not a big deal but this is a luxury rental. Our biggest issue was with the management company. We noticed right away that the tv in the LR wasn\'t working at all. They said they\'d send someone that evening, I even received a text that someone was on their way, then over an hour later as it got later in the evening and we were waiting for this person, we received a text saying the service request was canceled. I alerted the person i was speaking with via text and they told me the texts i received were automated and should never have gone out, and that the person who was supposed to come by had already clocked out. I again informed them that we had been waiting as we have 2 dogs and a newborn. We felr we couldn\'t leave the unit or do much of anything since we were waiting on them. Their response was to give us free late check out!? So they said they\'d be there the following am between 8 am and 10 am. I asked for a text beforehand because again, we have 2 dogs and a newborn and wanted to get them settled before the repair came. 10 am came and no person or communication. I messaged them again and then minutes later the person we hear a knock and the person is inside the unit- no advance notice. He had allowed himself into the unit without our permission. He used the code to come in. On top of that, the guy wasn\'t friendly, made no mention of being late, and was unprofessional. The communication is horrible and in my opinion, unacceptable for a rental that is this expensive and has so many additional fees. Turned out TV was broken. Wouldn\'t even turn on and needed to be replaced. Thankfully they came later that day.. again, no notice and just allowed themselves in without permission. I heard nothing from management after that morning about the inconvenience. My advice, DON\'T stay here.

This unit was exactly like the photos. The unit was clean and in good shape. We did have a little difficulty with all of the different codes. There were 4 different codes that were needed around the property. My parents were with us and it was hard getting them to remember the door codes. They forgot to take the code with them to their room (the casita) and so I was pleasantly awakened at 5:45 one day with my dad banging on the door to be let in. ?. We did a bit of our own cooking and all of the cookware we used worked fine. The pans might need a little TLC, but we got along fine with them. The manual can opener was not the easiest to use. It had not been cleaned and it’s as if the blade was dulled. We almost had to get out a knife to open the cans. It took a while to get them open. The view was outstanding. There are a lot of cars that drive by with their music blaring, but that never bothered us at night. The beds are comfy and this condo is so spacious. We had lots of family come and visit and there was still a lot of room. The biggest letdown was the weather! It was a little on the breezy side and a bit rainy. When sitting on the balcony, that cool breeze cuts right through you. We would most definitely return to this property. It was excellent. Parking beneath the property is excellent and spacious.

We enjoy this property for location especially. The outdoor furniture cushions need replacing. They leave white residue on clothes after sitting on them. Also, what seems to be mold.

This unit needs some attention to detail, the pics seemed a lot neater and cleaner. The sofas were very worn, only one burner on the bbq worked and there was no spatula in the kitchen. Not to mention all the door handles and pulls were rusty. For the money spent we felt it was very used and not as high end as the pics showed.

The house was absolutely beautiful! The furniture and decor were beach themed and well-designed. Our family loved the big kitchen and dining room table! We also loved sitting out on the patio and listening to the ocean! I loved that it was further down on the strand so you didn't get as much foot traffic as you would if you were closer to the pier. I would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to family and friends in a heartbeat!

The Condo was excellent and your staff was quick to answer questions. Two items can improve experience, change the AC grate covers. They are awfully rusted and makes renters wonder what is lurking in AC ducts if you don’t take time to change cover? Leave instructions to get yo basic TV. Put with remotes. Minor changes, we will be back! Loved the views, it was everything we had hoped it would be!

This was our fourth time renting from Beachfrontonly (twice in Carlsbad and twice in Oceanside on The Strand), and we were not disappointed! The condo and casita were VERY nice!! The location is the best, overlooking the beach/ocean. We parked our cars in the reserved parking spaces in the garage and only left once the entire time to go to Oceanside Harbor. The condo had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. It was also nice to have the casita for the other couple we stayed with, so they could have their own sanctuary away from the main living area when they wanted. They even had their own full bathoom, microwave and mini fridge in their casita! And the location of the condo... it was perfect! It was also nice to walk along the Strand/beach and down to the pier to the Tin Fish and other food kiosks,as well as up the hill to other shops and restaurants. As always, it was entertaining to watch, from our patio, all of the different people and cute dogs walking on the Strand, as well as diffrent types of cars cruising the Strand. We also saw dolphins one morning. We only had a couple minor issues while there: The dryer door did not shut, and so we had to tape it shut to dry our clothes. The dryer also kept tripping the circuit breaker. Also, the latch to the condo entry gate was broken. But, we put in an online service order for those two things. The service order gave us the option of setting up a time to have these things fixed while were were there OR fixed after we left. We opted to have these things fixed after we left since it really did not effect our stay and did not require immediate service. I must say that any time we have had an issue in the past while staying at a Beachfront Only condo, staff was quick to make it right. But, we only had a couple of minor issues when staying in the past and definitely not a deal breaker keeping us from renting again. We prefer to rent from Beachfront Only because we found the other rental sites to be more costly to rent from, especially with many random fees. Beachfront Only has always been a better deal and we cannot beat the location...it's truly beachfront! We plan on continuing to make it a family tradition and renting from Beachfront Only every year. The condos have always been emaculate, high-end, well-stocked, and right on the beach. We have recommended Beachfront Only to many of our friends over the years. Thank you for making our stay perfect, but we all wished we could have stayed longer. It was definitely hard to leave!
